Immaculate 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Apt. In Popular Queen Anne Close To Downtown
About Janet Dixon
Though I've traveled the world and take long road trips to visit family, my soul is in the Pacific Northwest. I am orginally from the midwest, Illinois, but after experiencing the northwest during our years in Alaska I knew that I would at some point become a resident of Seattle. That opportunity presented itself in 1990. I purchased a house on Vashon Island which is a short ferry ride from West Seattle. It was the best move I ever made. The house was on the water and I turned it into a bed and breakfast. That was my first experience providing travelers with accommodations and all these years later I am trying it again. As a profession I have managed non-profits and since retirement I have done a variety of interesting things to fill my life. This is one of them. Add more Janet@

Why Janet Dixon chose West Queen Anne
I choose this particular property because of it proximity to all that is Seattle. It is a hop skip and a jump from Seattle Center and downtown. It has a wonderful commercial area one block away as well as offering a very neighborhood feeling.
What makes this Apartment unique
I purchased this property in 1996 because of it location and thought that future renters would find the amenities offered in the neighbor desirable and I was right. I have had no problems renting my spaces over all those years but now I am ready to try something a little different. I am looking forward to this being as much a success.

We had a wonderful time at Jan’s place. Loved the details and location. She makes sure to make herself available if needed.
We had a very nice stay. there are a lot of places to eat and shop within walking distance. We would stay there again.
Spotless, quiet in queen Annne
Spotless and quiet— with good reading lights, good mattress and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. One block from great sandwich place.
I really appreciate all of the positive comments. Everyone always appreciates how close, one block away, the apartment is to restaurants, grocery stores and a variety of other amenities like pedicures, massage, salons and clothing stores.
They say they will return because their son lives 6 blocks away. They were great guests and left the space is excellent shape.
Garden was beautiful. Property well managed.
Suzette and family were great guests. They found the area very delightful and I would love to have them back again.
Perfect place to stay and the apartment had everything we needed tucked into a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of walking to nearby stores, restaurants and shops. Quick and easy drive into the city for more options. We would definitely stay again!
This wonderful mother and daughter from Oregon were great guests. They were so relaxed and kind. I look forward to a return visit.
Thanks so much
Perfect in every way!
Jan was just wonderful and was there to meet us when we arrived. This rental is perfection for vacations to Queen Anne or anywhere in Seattle! Beautifully charming and amazing location. We will be back for sure!
A very nice couple and they were celebrating a birthday. Couldn't have been better guests. I welcome them back in a minute.
A bit of little know information is that Seattle was build on seven hills. Queen Anne is one of those hills and it is the closest residential area to Seattle Center and the City Center which includes the famous Pike Place Market.
Queen Anne is a historic neighborhood studded with cute cottages and gardens, flanked by stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and filled with specialty shops, international cuisine, access to yoga classes, great coffee shops and the beauty of it all is they are only one block away. Within .5 of a mile you are able to see Puget Sound from the famous Highland Drive overhang where the entire skyline of the city can be seen with the majestic Mt. Rainer in the background.
From Queen Ann you have access by car to funky Freemont and Ballard neighborhoods as well as Greenwood and Green Lake. On the east side of the hill is Lake Union where you can rent kayaks and explore the floating homes (remember Sleepless in Seattle), stop and have lunch at the lake side restaurants or even hop on a sea plane and have an aerial view of the the surrounding area.
Seattle Center is not just the Space Needle although it is a must see. You can go to the opera, ballet, the Pacific Science Center, the butterfly exhibit, the children's museum, live theater at the Rep, catch the monorail to downtown and have a wonderful time at the EMP (Experience Music Project). You will be awed by Frank Gerhy's architectural design of the building and by it's exhibits which are dedicated to the exploration of popular music,(Nirvana), science fiction and pop culture.
