Miracles do happen! We are very blessed and thankful that our condo came through Harvey safe and dry. Please contact us for insurance company or monthly rates.

Due to Hurricane Harvey resort amenities such as the swimming pools, tennis courts, playground and other recreational facilities are not available until they are repaired. The boardwalk to the beach is fine and the beach is in good shape. As of March 29, 2018 there are 41 restaurants/bars that have re-opened with more planned to re-open by Memorial Day. so come down and enjoy the beach and support the local businesses and their employees!

Our Top Floor Penthouse Condo, "Beachfront, Sweet!!", has been totally remodeled. We "took it down to the studs" and replaced the electrical wiring and plumbing as well. New passenger elevator installed December 2015 - adults only.

Let the view and sounds of the gulf soothe the stress away. Beautifully furnished condominium with unobstructed views of the Gulf from the master bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and middle bedroom. Unobstructed gulf views from the large gulf front balcony. Our condo is in Island Retreat II which is Marker 11 on the beach. The address for the entrance to Island Retreat is 700 Island Retreat Court , Port Aransas, TX 78373. The entrance is not beachfront but our condo is beachfront.

Please check the availability calendar for the dates you want before you contact us. We are not a property management company and we keep the calendar up to date. If the calendar shows the dates as unavailable, it is accurate. We typically do not rent just the weekends during the summer unless earlier in the week has already booked. We have invested significantly in our condo and we are not a venue for partying or for groups that will not take excellent care of our home. Thank you.

Here is our cancellation policy:

In the event that the Tenant cancels the reservation for any reason, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs less than seventy-five (75) days of the Check-In Date, all monies paid by Tenant will be forfeited if the Rental Property is not re-rented by the Check-In Date. If within 75 days, Tenant will be refunded the amount received from a new rental less 5% . Owner will make all reasonable efforts to re-rent the Rental Property by the Check-In Date.

Island Retreat is a great place to spend time with family and friends. This smoke-free condominium is just a short boardwalk away from the beach. The town trolley stops by the front office. Boat parking on-site.

The beach is awesome for playing with the kids, acting like a kid yourself, enjoying the scenery, taking a long stroll, a morning jog, reading a book, or delighting in the last rays of a gorgeous sunset. If you don't feel like get sandy at the beach relax by one of the two pools or play some tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard or basketball.

Or simply treasure pushing your child in a swing on the playground as they giggle with enjoyment.

Port Aransas has some great restaurants for when you feel like eating out (or you didn't have any luck fishing). For those who are feeling lucky there is the Texas Treasure gambling ship.

If you feel like exploring there are plenty of options - scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, deep sea fishing, Aransas Wildlife Refuge and Whooping Crane Habitat or the beach!

When I first visited Port Aransas I knew that I wanted to live there someday. Island Retreat is beachfront has great ocean views. Island Retreat has plenty of room with all kinds of amenities. 2 Pools, Grills, Playground, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis Courts and Shuffleboard.

What makes this condo unique

The third/top floor has gulf views with a large balcony that spans the living room and dining room. We have maximized our condo to accommodate families so that parents can be together with kids and grandchildren. We are beachfront with an easy walk on the boardwalk over the sand dunes to the flat part of the beach. It is so relaxing to sit on the large balcony for hours watching the waves, reading a book our spending time with friends and family.

The view at this place is spectacular and the condo is very well maintained. You can tell this owner takes upkeep seriously and works hard to ensure guests have what they need to enjoy their stay. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Great location. Walk to the beach! Condo was huge! Very well decorated and spotless. Open floor plan and completely updated. Very secure and safe feeling. We were very impressed and will be back again!!

Nice place!

We slipped away for a quick weekend to Port A. Jane was very accommodating. Port A is still rebuilding from Harvey, but Jane’s place is top notch. No problems at all. So much room! We had only 8 people but it really can accommodate much larger groups — she has a great dining table, chairs for 10, plus 4 at the bar and even has a long bench so you could probably get even more at the table. Ample dinnerware. So glad we had the opportunity to visit! Thanks Jane! Hopefully we will be back!

Spring Break 2018

I stayed here with my family during Spring Break. The location is excellent, with beautiful views overlooking the ocean and right by a boardwalk leading over the dunes to the beach. A lifeguard stand is on that section of the beach which is nice. The property is clean and spacious, and we didn't encounter any issues. Many local businesses and amenities have now re-opened after Hurricane Harvey, but the Spring Break influx to Port Aransas was light compared to past years.

Wonderful place to enjoy family and beauty

Watching the sun rise over the ocean was a favorite activity for many in our crowd. It was a very accommodating facility that has been well cared for. It sleeps 12 comfortably. The large open floorplan was ideal and the access to both pools and the beach made for a fun and relaxing time.
