This magnificent villa is perched above the entrance to Puerto Pollensa on the exclusive El Vilar private estate, just five minutes from the resort. The old town of Pollensa and the resort of Cala San Vincente are also just a few minutes drive away. Set in approximately 2,500 square meters of mature garden and lawns, this is without doubt one of the most distinctive villas in our exclusive portfolio. The villa is approached from the main road, some 300m away and accessed through double gates with a stone drive way extending to the upper level and garage.

*Air Conditioning will be a small extra charge. Time limited to run between 18:00 - 08:00

Outside out standing

Views and outdoor space amazing .Easy walk to pollensa town .Indoor furniture is the same as the photos and not been updated .The biggest problem we had was flea bites came home our legs covered all four of us .we where getting bitten in the bedrooms .

Best holiday in years!

We arrived after a fairly pleasant drive from Palma to spend a week at number 85, and we were a little apprehensive...the pictures looked pretty spectacular. However we were not disappointed (even though the pictures are clearly taken with a slight fisheye lens). The villa, view and surrounding area is beautiful and in amazing condition. We were all gutted to leave at the end of our week, but it was such a luxurious and relaxing place to have a week to wind down. My only comments would be that the lightswitches by the door are not labelled, and are in a completely random order - by the end of the week we still hadn't figured out which one was which. Also the pool lights are on a timer, so don't waste your time looking for a switch - they turn off too early though. All the surrounding villas had their pools lit up into the night, but ours turned off early enough that we had to retreat to the balcony. Will almost definitely visit again.

Excellent villa

It is a brilliant property. Well equipped, comfortable, ample seating everywhere. Superb views. Secluded, yet not far from shops, restaurants, beach. Good base for sightseeing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would stay there again anytime.

However, I agree with a previous review about the dodgy drive, it is narrow, windy and steep; tricky even with a medium sized car. Don't attempt it if your reversing isn't up to much, but don't let that put you off - you could park outside.

Villa El Vila 85, Puerto Pollensa

I would have rated this rental property as a 5, (excellant) except for one rather irritating point.

On arrival we found there were insufficient towels for our group, (3 Adults and 2 children aged 13 & 9). Having phoned the Rep. we were fairly quickly supplied some extras, however, on the both days of the towels change we were only given the amount originally supplied, no extras. This meant we had only one large and a small towel each to last a week.

Other than the above we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this very well appointed Villa.

Great villa !

Hi, this as an excellent villa, with great views across port de pollensa, enclosed garden and ample outside seating, on the patio, near the pool, or around the side by the bbq.

Two words of caution, one relates to parking, the other to small children. If you're travelling with an mpv or similar, don't attempt to park it in the drive, the combination of winding driveway, uneven wall to one side and overhanging trees to the other, makes it very hard to get in and out unscathed.

If you're travelling with young children, you need to be aware of the danger from the balcony. The wall is very low, and the drop very big. Rather than keeping a constant vigil, our solution was to block the outside stairs to the balcony, lock the front door and use the back entrance for access. The pool area is obviously hazardous, but no more than anywhere else.

Having looked around I'm pretty sure the location is the best the area has to offer, close enough to facilities, yet quiet and with unrivalled views. Happy to recommend vila 85 and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Rog.

Puerto Pollensa is, without any doubt, one of the most attractive municipalities of the island. It’s for some reason that it was one of the areas where tourism started, besides being a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century. From the scenic point of view, Pollensa is full of contrasts, and a quite big part of the so-called “Sierra de Tramontana” with its steep mountains and its deep valleys, which in many cases end in most beautiful and lonely bays, where the blue of the sea mixes with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees, is situated within its municipality. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. There are a lot of art galleries and beautiful handicraft shops. During nearly all the year one con enjoy a variety of musical events, among which the most famous ones are those that take place in the Santo Domingo Cloister.
