The cottage has an excellent history of very satisfied quests as evidenced by the guestbook on the fireplace hearth, while owned and operated as KoKo's Classic Cottage. I will do my best to maintain KoKo's excellent standard and work hard to earn your positive comments.
The yard is professionally maintained on a weekly basis.
The exterior of the home is just as immaculate as the interior. As a 'hands on' owner- manager I will take the utmost care to insure the home is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. My calendar is always accurate and updated daily.

During this beautiful drive be prepared to take photos of the amazing sites and the wildlife you may chance to encounter.
If you are an early riser, take a moment to quietly sit in the yard and observe the family of deer that meanders up the road nibbling away on various brush and vegetation. A peaceful sight you are sure to remember.
Before this stay, we had never used VRBO for lodging. However, we thought the Cottage might be a better option for visiting with family in the area. The Cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was clean. The additional living areas, both inside the cottage and outside in the courtyard, were great for visiting. The property manager was very helpful with everything starting before arrival through departure. The area was convenient to Sonoma area attractions and provided a good starting point for each day's travels. We felt safe and comfortable at this location. Given the opportunity, we would stay here again.
Kit's Classic Cottage was perfect for two couples staying two nights.
We enjoyed our time in the backyard all afternoon. It was delightful!
While we didn't spend much time inside, the kitchen was well-appointed and we played music via the TV in the family room.
If you are looking for a place to call home for a few days while in the area, you'll be thrilled with Kit's Cottage. It was simple and charming on a tiny street that was exactly what we were looking for.
Kit's cottage is super cute and cozy. The perfect size for 4 people (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). It's very nicely decorated. I loved the outdoor patio space too, great for sitting outside and enjoying some wine. I thought the beds and linens were all super comfy. Overall it was a very nice and relaxing place to stay.
Heidi, the property manager, was very helpful and quick to respond. Just a short distance from downtown Sonoma and conveniently located for visiting plenty of wineries. Overall this was a great place to stay.
When my friends walked into the home, all of them said, "good job"! They were so happy with the home. Some of my other friends who stayed at another vacation rental came over for breakfast and were very impressed. Beautiful wood floors in the master bedroom and lots of upgrades throughout. I enjoyed the lush and serene backyard while having my morning coffee. And I love the rainfall shower in the master bathroom. I would definitely come back.
Last weekend along with my husband, daughter & son-in-law, I spent two nights at Kit's Classic Cottage. Because my parents home in Sonoma was filled with other out of town family members, attending my sister's wedding, I turned to VRBO.
At the front door, we were already sure that we had found the type of accommodations we had hoped for. The decor and ambiance was delightful. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms attractive and well supplied. Although we didn't turn them on, there were 3 TV's available. A gas fireplace in the living room in addition to the nice furnishings, provided a great space to read or enjoy a glass of wine. The patio is private and has a couple of different seating areas. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and was very pleased with the condition of this home.
The woman who manages the property was really on the ball. She contacted me several times prior to our arrival and my deposit has already been returned.
We couldn't have been happier and I have already shared the information to friends who plan to visit Sonoma.
Don't miss the Mexican ice cream shop on Highway 12. It's homemade and delicious!
We spent three nights at Kit’s Cottage last weekend and it was great. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The cottage is spotless and well stocked. The size of the cottage and the two queen bedrooms were perfect for two couples. We were happy to have the lovely terrace at the end of our long days and the fireplace made it cozy when the temperature dipped down at night. There are several small grocery and produce stores within a few blocks where you can pick up anything you need. The quiet location is perfect for day trips to the various wine regions, many state parks and a nice healthy walk into Sonoma square. Some highlights of our weekend included dining at LaSalette in Sonoma, hiking through Armstrong Redwoods state park, tasting wines at Arista winery and strolling their beautiful gardens, and renting bikes and riding through Napa Valley’s picturesque trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and highly recommend Kit’s Cottage. Thanks to Bonne and Heidi for their quick response to our inquiry, for personally making sure we had everything we needed and for taking such good care us and the cottage.
