There is a lot to love about this beach front condo. First is the amazing views of Perdido Pass. The sunrise is spectacular coming up over the horizon and you can have a front row seat from our eastern facing balcony. Watch the boats come and go or maybe see a dolphin or two from the large balcony. Enjoy the luxury of recently upgraded cabinets with granite counter tops throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. The 12 foot ceilings and crown molding make this spacious unit feel even larger and more upscale. Enjoy cooking in a fully outfitted kitchen or take advantage of the barbecue grills just a short walk away.

The two bedrooms are roomy with their own flat screen televisions and DVD players. Both bedrooms have a private full bathroom, and wood flooring. You can listen to the sounds of the ocean in master bedroom which has it's own sliding door to the large balcony. The living room has a sleeper sofa for the 5th and 6th guest, and a large flat screen TV and DVD player. You can stay connected to the real world, should you choose to do so, through the dedicated WiFi available for each condo at Phoenix 7. Large windows and an additional sliding glass door provide an expansive unobstructed view of the beach from the living room.

Phoenix 7 is a great place for families to enjoy the summer sunshine. With a huge white sand beach and a large outdoor pool right out your back door there are hours of fun to be had. We also have a heated, indoor pool to give you relief from the sun, or let you continue to have fun, even when it's cold and rainy outside. Indoor racquetball is available when you tire of the outdoor tennis court. There is even shuffleboard and a basketball goal. Phoenix 7 is also within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, fishing, and one of the largest marinas in the area.

Our condo has something very few others can offer, even at this same complex. Beautiful convenience. Being a first floor unit some might think there is less of a view. This is not the case with ours. You can drive right up to the front door (convienent) but step out onto the balcony and have the view of a second floor unit (beautiful). This works great for just about anyone but especially families with small kids. You will not get stuck in the elevator line with 12 bags of groceries, six suitcases, and cooler. Wave at your friends as you walk right by it, and into your condo. Believe me, when you forget something in the car, it's really nice to spend a minute, literally, getting it and returning to the room. The convenience still doesn't sacrifice the view. Just sit on the balcony and relax as you watch the surf, pool, and the endless horizon.

About Jay Lowery

We are a fun loving family of 4 that live in North Georgia. Dad grew up in Baldwin county, Alabama so every time we visit our condo it's a little like coming home to him. We love our animals, as we have 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 leopard geckos, but we keep our little friends at our northern home, much to the pleasure of our Phoenix friends and neighbors.

We simply fell in love with our condo. The previous owners had made some nice upgrades, and with our own little touches, it's something we are really proud of. Although it is only about 1000 square feet, the 12 foot ceilings really open up the place. We were also impressed with the size of the second bedroom. In all actuality, it should really be considered a second master suite.

What makes this condo unique

12 foot ceilings and quick access to your vehicle are two big things that you just can't buy or even find in most places.

Phoenix VII is located within walking distance to Perdido Pass. It is also near Gulf State Pier, the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico. The world famous Flora-Bama is only a short drive away. Shopping enthusiasts can enjoy the numerous boutique in the area, or immerse in the over 130 stores at the Tanger Outlet Mall, located in nearby Foley. The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo featured by Animal Planet in 'The Little Zoo that Could' is only about a 15 minute drive away. Orange Beach has abundant cruising possibilities such as dolphin cruises, sunset dinner cruises, deep sea fishing, and SCUBA. It is also near Historic Fort Morgan, Fort Gaines, Pensacola Naval Museum (free admission), the USS Alabama Battleship.

Our condo was beautiful and had everything we needed.

It was a little chilly during our visit but the days were beautiful. We enjoyed seafood and shopping and most of all relaxation. I hadn't been to the beach in 20 years and my neice had never been to AL.

Rough start but worked out

Well when we 1st arrived check in was at 4:00 p.m. not a minute earlier. We checked in to the Room with the key Code that was provided by the Owner. Unfortunately when we went in we noticed it was not cleaned. I contacted the owner and he had a clean service come out right away. It wasn't bad but the Beds were not made, you could just just tell it hadn't been cleaned. We went out to dinner and when we got back the cleaning lady had arrived and was Cleaning. This was a God send for more than the obvious reason. She seemed to be In her later years. She wore a bama crimson tight T-shirt. She apologised for the Inconvenience and promised me she would be done as quick as she could. That night Alabama was playing their 1st college football game of the season and it was on TV. I put it on the TV as I had planned anyway. She explained to me that she was on her way over to her 95 year old cousins house to watch the Alabama game. She said they are both huge Alabama fans. As she cleaned I updated her on the game and so did her 95 year old cousin via telephone. She was the sweetest lady and I'm happy to have met her. That was a good way to start my vacation. I told her since the beds were made she could leave early as I knew she was dying to see the game. However she refused and continued clean the condominium until it was done, She did a wonderful job. I know it was killing her to miss the game and not be with her 95 year old cousin but she had pride in her work. The condominium is located on the 1st floor In close proximity to the office the swimming pool and the walkway to the beach. The condo is very very nice. The owners were very very responsive to your needs. This was Definitely a great vacation and meeting the cleaning lady was a great start. Jay the owner was very nice and his wife called to check on this later which was also nice. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone staying and Orange beach. Matter fact the cleaning lady said she knew the owners parents And could vouch for what great people they are. I normally stay with Brett Robinson Vacation however this was such a great experience I will never do that again. HomeAway from here on out
