We just replaced the sheets, duvets and pillows! When you arrive the beds are made up with clean bed linens and clean towels are provided. The cabin is professionally cleaned between each guest. There is new washer and dryer in case you need it.
There is a medium sized deck with a BBQ grill. The parking area is plowed for the winter season and can accommodate 3-4 vehicles.
Downtown Truckee is close by for access to anything you may need. The cabin is within a short drive to most of the North Tahoe resorts including Squaw Valley, North Star, Boreal, Alpine Meadows and Tahoe-Donner. Lake Tahoe is only a 20-minute drive and offers a wide array of activities, services and casinos.
My wife and our 5 children have stayed here twice and intend on staying here more often. It's simple and very peaceful. It's in a great location that's easy to get in and out of. There's room in the back of the house for our children to explore and you're very close to the lake. We come here to get away from the normal distractions of life; I love that there's no cable TV. I love that it's near our favorite place to get treats & goodies: The Treat Box in Truckee. Everything you need is provided and Rhonda has done a great job of not only keeping the place clean, but also making improvements and updates. Thank you for sharing your home.
Enjoyed this cabin very much. It accommodated all our needs, and was close to everything we needed.it has a warm, homey feel. Can't wait to stay here again!
The best part of our stay was definitely how accommodating the owners are. So friendly & willing to answer any questions or concerns! Thank you Rhonda for making our vacation so memorable!
This cabin feels homey and we enjoyed our stay. We have young kids and they liked taking the bikes across the street into the flat neighborhood to ride. It's a little far to walk to west beach if you bring a lot of stuff so we drove. Love that beach! The cabin itself is a little dark but clean and comfortable. We missed having a garage for the bikes but the price was right and gets 4 stars. Pleasant little deck in back under the trees.
The only reason this cute cabin does not get 5 stars is because it is not on the lake. Unfortunately the HOA beach is a bit of a walk if you are carrying paddle boards or other water craft and charges a rather steep fee per water craft. Our 3 SUP boards cost us $10 per day per board. Besides that we really loved this Cabin and had a ton of fun in Truckee.
We stayed a week at this charming cabin and loved how close to the lake/beach it was, very convenient to walk. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space to relax, nice peek views of the lake from the deck. There was space to store our paddle board at the side of the cabin and plenty of parking. There was a good store near this cabin that we could get anything we needed. The owner was very responsive but we didn't need to contact them during our stay since everything was fine. We will definitely stay here again.
