2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8
The owners have been friends for 30 years, and their families are very close. They often vacation together, always on or near the water. A longstanding familiarity with the Houston area made Galveston Island the natural choice to acquire waterfront property where the owners can spend time with their families and make wonderful memories. The owners seized the opportunity to acquire sEaSCAPE cottage when it became available. sEaSCAPE cottage Sea Isle is the perfect compliment to sEaSCAPE cottage Terramar Beach, the owner’s initial acquisition.

Why Barbara chose Galveston
Sea Isle is one of the most desirable communities on Galveston’s west end. The island is at its narrowest on the west end, so Sea Isle offers easy proximity to the bay and also to the beach. The west end is idyllic. There is very little noise, and there are no hotels swallowing up the coast. The tranquility of the Gulf Coast is on display in this area. You will find warm breezes, white sand, and wonderful memories.
What makes this Cottage unique
This home is uniquely situated at the west end of Galveston where the island is narrow, and in one of the most desirable areas. This home sits on the beautiful Antascosa Canal, offering direct access to West Galveston Bay. Just across San Luis Pass Road are Sea Isle Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The lot was specifically chosen to position the home for the breathtaking sunset view from the canal deck. The lot is also superbly situated within Sea Isle, right across the canal from the Sea Isle convenience store, bait camp, the West End Restaurant and Sand Bar, the swimming pool and the tennis courts. Bring your watercraft! The house is adjoined by a private boat house and boat slip. Sea Isle’s private boat launches are available for your use. Vacationing at sEaSCAPE cottage includes full access to all of the amenities at Sea Isle. Come enjoy warm breezes, white sand and wonderful memories at an affordable price.

Location location location
While this property may be small and not decorated to the ninth degree, it’s perfect for a four person family and the location can’t be beat. We’ve stayed here the last four years and wouldn’t trade for another, more lavish and fancy updated home. If you’re comfortable with a kitchen big enough to cook meals, two showers, two bedrooms, and a place for down time with TVs and a big dining table for puzzles, this is the spot for you. The owner is easy to work with, and the location has an amazing view of “the action” (marina, bait shop, marina general store, karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, and swimming pool). If you like to fish, you can do it all day long from the comfort of your backyard. It’s all we need to have a relaxing, week-long vacation. Don’t forget to rent a golf cart! Drive around and enjoy exploring the great community of Sea Isle, not to mention you’ll want it for your jaunts to the beach. We are so thankful to have found this gem and plan to return every summer. We love this home and all that Galveston has to offer, right here in Texas!
Everything about the house was great! Looking forward to our next trip there
Great property away from the crowd
Great time! Beautiful canal setting and close to the beach.
An enjoyable get away.
When we arrived at the house we were pleasantly surprised at how very nice and quite it was.
The house was very clean.
There was plenty of room for a lot of people. The kitchen was a bit small. But all in all it was pleasant.
We enjoyed fishing and catching fish from the deck.
We recommend this house to a large family. There will be plenty of room.
To the next people that stay here, hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Summer Family Vacation
We had a Blast. This is the most Awesome Vacation Rental. Lots of Memories made here.
Thank you Barbara
Great spot in great neighborhood
House was great. Knew it would be small but actually had more room than the picture suggested. Kitchen is small as you see in the photos but still very usable. Had no problem cooking a couple big meals.
Being right next to the marina was great. Easy to restock on small stuff also it was nice to be able to sit out on the deck and listen to the music from the restaurant/bar across the canal.
Definitely would come back again in a heartbeat. My only suggestion, being a big fisherman, the light on the boat dock needs to be turned more towards the rest of the canal. Right now it doesn’t light up as much as it could. However, you are right down the street from the best night fishing pier in the west end and the house comes with he key card to get in so not that big of a deal.
