A brand new elegant 4 Bedroom Apartment in the middle of town with each room having it's own floor to ceiling window, mountain views or separate balcony. Relax in this spacious 150 square meter Apt with open plan kitchen/living room that is luxurious in size, light and amenities and best of all, overlooking the town and mountains outside. The recently renovated Apt is located on the square that overlooks Rue Joseph Vallot thus you can watch the town bustle below from the balcony or view the mountains of Mt Blanc. The Metropole is one of the most recognized and iconic buildings in Chamonix and it is located in the Centre of Town next to clock tower so you will never get lost nor wonder the time. And the first bottle of wine is on me!! and special price if you only need 3 bedrooms!!

It has 4 bedrooms of which 2 can be described as Master Suites each with King sized beds ( one has a fold out couch and a bathroom equipped with a Hammam). The 3rd bedroom also has a King sized bed while the 4th bedroom has 2 over-sized singles arranged as bunks. For different sleeping configurations, the king sized beds can be split into large singles. The Apt sleeps 8-9 and can accommodate more for dinners given the extra large kitchen and dining area. Keep the windows and balcony doors open to let in the sounds and views from the town below or mountains above flow in or close them and enjoy the views and light from the setting sun while relaxing on the couch in silence warmed by the fire. The Apt also has a brand new Cave equipped with 12 boot and glove warmers and is always toasty to ensure ski clothes are dry and ready for the next day's runs.

State of the art WiFi and sound system with 12 ceiling surround sound speakers and English TV ( Sky) and video. One of the Master bedrooms has seperate TV, Fridge and separate sound system for iPod. 3 Walk-in showers and one bathtub designed for 2 as well as a Hammam in the 3rd bathroom to cure after-ski aches. A designer kitchen with multiple ovens, large fridge, induction hobs and of course a Netspresso for your daily fix. The Fireplace can be enjoyed from sitting back in the over-sized living room and extra large soft and comfortable couch. All linen is included, even slippers!!!​

Designed by one of Chamonix's more well known builder and designer teams, the apartment has been furnished with every detail cared for. The TV and surround sound are state of the art and fully wi-fi as well. The large open plan kitchen has a luxurious feel about it while being perfect for entertaining. Choose one of large bedrooms with its extra-large sliding pocket doors that open onto the living room and spectacular views from your bed. Or choose from the 2nd master bedroom with its own couch, TV, separate fridge and even a Hammam that feels like its own self contained studio. The 3rd bedroom has a separate balcony and King Sized bed and the 4th enjoys a unique rustic feel and 2 singles.

The pedestrian street below is the centre of shopping with many bars and restaurants to choose from only a stone's throw away. With the grocery store ( Super U) across the street you are never to far from fresh food and pastries. Card access to the centre of town is provided (barrier entry card) for your car when needed for drop offs and pick-ups during the stay; underground parking is a 3 min walk away. A car is not needed in Chamonix as you can walk to the lifts of the Aiguille du Midi, the cog wheel mountain railway of the Montenvers and finally the Brèvent lift station which connects to Flegere is a 10 min walk away. The tourist office and bus stop is a 2 min walk and thus very easy to reach hiking or skiing in Les Praz, Argentiere or Les Houches. In the summer you are 5 min stroll to the tennis club and hiking paths and 15 min stroll from Golf and the base of many mountain trails. You are a stones throw to all the town's restaurants and bars and Ski rental shops are 50 feet away. The train station is a 3 min walk and the bus station to lifts, if you don't want to drive, is as well a 2 min stroll away. Chamonix's night life is nearby but the brand new triple glazed large windows keep the sound and cold weather out.

Elevator or stairs reach the second floor. All linen is provided and you are met by Joanne to walk you through the Apt and answer all questions that you may have. She is available during your stay for extra assistance, cleaning or food preparation if so desired. She will greet you as you arrive and arrange an appropriate meeting spot and assist in departure as well. I of course can be reached to discuss activities around Chamonix as well as assist in booking guides, ski teacher or give ideas for restaurant bookings or activities but Joanne, is locally based and will meet and greet as well provide assistance and answer questions regarding activities and provide advice regarding Chamonix's amenities.

You can rent bikes nearby and keep them locked up in the ground floor bike room. Grab your paper from the newsagent below, enjoy a breakfast from the cafe across the street or buy some croissants from the many bakeries nearby. Shop in one of the many wonderful Chamonix shops all right out your door. Saturday's local market is a great place to purchase fresh produce and local goods and that is 2 min away. The Apt overlooks the Irish Coffee so a relaxing drink can be enjoyed 20 feet away if you run out of supplies. After skiing drop your ski's and boots off in the Cave then either relax in the Hamam, sit by the fire or enjoy an aperitif in the many bars along the Rue des Moulins only 50 feet away.

Chamonix is an hour drive from Geneve and the roads always stay clear given the road through Mt Blanc tunnel must stay passable. As the local bus transport is 2 min walk away and the train station is a 3 min walk, it is easy to get around. The Buses take you up the valley to other ski areas as does the train. The Mer de Glace train takes you to the base of the Valley Blanche. During the summer the lifts operate to take you to the top or mid stations of the mountains for hikes and trail runs along the mountains that surround the town. Skiing normally starts Dec 1 and closes the first weekend of May. There is a wide variety of sports to enjoy during the summer as the town stays active and alive year around.

Joanne will check you out as well and all I ask is that you leave the Apt on time and respect the no shoe policy to protect the new wooden floors. Final cleaning is not needed but leaving the Apt respectfully is appreciated.

Our favorite place to stay in Chamonix!

We absolutely love this rental and will always try to book it when we come to Chamonix! The apartment is comfortable and cheery. The owner makes everything easy and is excellent with communications.

The BEST thing about this apartment is its prime location in the very center of town. It is quite wonderful to perch on the balcony or sit with doors open in the living room and soak up the energy of the bars, music, and people right under your window!

Obviously, with that kind of prime location, there is crowd noise in some of the surrounding bars until around 2:00am. But I am a light sleeper, and the noise never affected my sleep. Closing the doors and windows eliminates about 95% of the noise, and using a white noise app on my phone eliminated the remaining 5%. I slept wonderfully.

We seriously love this place!

The premier skiing and hiking centre in all the Alps. Minutes from ski lifts, golf, hiking, rafting, tennis and biking. Being a brand new large and sunny renovated apartment in the middle of town, all of the benefits of being close to shopping as well as views to the Mt Blanc make this Apt the perfect combination to enjoy the wilderness without giving up on proximity to restaurants, night life and being in the centre of the quant Chamonix town. Chamonix is not just about the amazing skiing , there is as well in the summer fantastic biking ( mountain and road), hiking, rafting, tennis and golf not to mention outdoor cafe's and stunning views from every vantage point. Italy is close via the famous Mt Blanc Tunnel, as the Italian coast is just a few hours away. Geneve is an easy one hour drive as well as Verbier and Annecy. Adventure centers are abundant in the area as climbing walls and paragliding are available for the adventurous.
