Amazing house. Fantastic location. Will return!
We absolutely loved Casa Colibri. It was everything we expected and more. The house was well suited and comfortable. The view is unbeatable! The sea is incredible and we spent most of our time on the beach snorkeling and paddle boarding. Host Julie was easy to communicate with and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Very nice layout. The beach storage for kayaks and paddle boards was very convenient and the bikes came in handy in the evening.
Wonderful House, charmed location
We have loved staying at Casa Colibri and look forward to returning already. We've stayed 3 or 4 times and love the view, the town and the access to the beach. The view of the island is amazing. Love this place.
A delightful spot in a quiet slice of paradise
Four of us stayed at Casa Colibri, and we were delighted with every aspect of the place. The location is fantastic - the house is perched above the beach with direct access via a short path down. It affords gorgeous panoramic views of a largely empty, unspoiled swath of Baja Sur and the Sea of Cortez. The house is spacious and the kitchen is fairly well appointed. Everything was quite clean when we arrived; I really have no complaints about the house itself. There are a variety of outdoor areas that are perfect for hanging out in after a day of activities. Kayaks and Paddle boards are readily available, and one need merely don snorkeling gear and jump into the water to see coral reefs and tropical fish. Truly spectacular ocean life is not much further away. Highly recommended.
we stayed for 2 weeks, mostly kiteboarding and snorkeling, some biking. The house is great, especially the patio and the stunning view . The house has just about everything you need, even an iron, as I am the last of a dying breed of people who still iron! Plenty of room/space for 2 couples and one teenager . I loved the quiet of the neighborhood along with the ability to kite right by the house, well, down a good set of stairs, but basically our own area. The owner very easy to work with too.
This was our second time staying here and I'm sure we'll be back again! We stayed here in a group of three couples - plenty of room for all of us. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the patio every night. The house comes well equipped with linens, games, cooking supplies, and kayaks/SUPs. The owner also provides a detailed list of restaurant suggestions. We would generally get food to go and bring it back to the house because the back patio of this house has the best view in town! Wonderful place to stay!
The locals refer to La Paz as 'going to town'. Major shopping and supplies, movies, larger city scene within 30-40 minutes.
-The artisan community of Todos Santos on the Pacific side is interesting and charming.
-Locally, a weekly farmers market for fresh fruits and vegetables is very inexpensive and of high quality.
-Locally caught fish readily available.
-Local 'Bufadora' or blow hole and light house are near a surf spot on the south end of the bay.
