There is so much to do but take time to just enjoy the special place that is our home.
Sam and Pat are newly retired from their respective jobs and are now live in Largo, Fl. Most of our family is already here. But part of the year we still spend in Virginia
Sam Lester purchased this house in 2013
When we found this house, it seemed to fulfill all our needs. We wanted to be close to the beach but not in a flood zone. We enjoy being active so walking around Taylor Park with our two dogs or bicycling the Pinellas Trail have encouraged our love of exercise. We've painted all the rooms in light, soft shades of coral, embracing the warm of Florida style. In landscaping the yards, we use Florida friendly plants that need a minimum of watering and fertilizer. It has been fun bring bring this house 'to life'.
This home is centrally located to all the activities and amenities the Gulf coast has to offer. Our home is well equipped for living and entertaining is the 'Florida style'. The home sleeps eight, is wheelchair accessible, has laundry facilities, and a beautiful exotic cactus garden as well. Swim, bike, walk, shop, go sightseeing, wildlife viewing, and then come home to your relaxing oasis.
Fantastic location, house was everything we need for 6 people and Sam was fantastic. It is an older house, but it is kept clean and neat for you to be accommodated comfortably for many nights. If we are ever in the area again to stay for an extended period we would absolutely reach out to Sam and stay at this same location. Again, very affordable, kept very neat and Sam is great to work with - I'd recommend this house to anyone! Thanks again Sam!
Owners were very nice to communicate with and house was stocked with dishes, towels and bedding for our stay. The house smelled like it had been smoked in and the toilets and floors were not clean. All of the appliances worked and the outdoors was beautiful but we were a bit disappointed that the grill had no propane. It was fine for our week, we made the best of it but we will be looking for something else next time we are in town.
Overall the house was exactly what we expected. The pictures were accurate. The space was good and it was clean. Beds were adequate for size and comfortable. There were no alarm clocks or hair dryer. We brought our own. It was a good value.
Very nice house indeed...Large living spaces and bedrooms. Patio and back yard HUGE. Neighborhood is safe and a great area to walk your dog,day or night!!! Had a WIFI issue and Mr.Lester was on the spot to fix it.Only gripe was the black moldy shower and running out of propane for the BBQ grill. No biggie, easy fix. I would recommend this house for anyone coming to the Largo area, it's close to everything you need as well!!! Oh,and the Netflix can keep you inside all day long be warned lol....
Was enjoying our stay until both of us got sick and cut our stay short. House was wonderful and would stay there again.
