Perfect location and awesome space!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved our stay at this property! It was super clean, the bed comfortable, nicely appointed, sweet little kitchen, very quiet (our unit was located at the back of the building on the top floor) and perfectly located in our favorite area of Boston. We would DEFINITELY stay there again on a future trip to Boston.

Comfortable, great location

Modernized apartment on Charles street in historic Beacon Hill. Full kitchen and updated bathroom. They could use some lamps and a few small things were broken but overall very nice and quiet, laundry facilities too!

Basic comfortable apartment in great location

  • 3 of 5

The apartment offered good accommodation to our family including two teenagers although that is its absolute maximum capacity and there was no bedding available for the kids on the first night. Although it has a decent sized kitchen there is not really anywhere to sit and eat other than the sofa (which doesn't work out if it is a bed). Overall we found it a good base from which to explore Boston and it is a bonus that it is near a T station on the river.

Great location, but . . .

  • 2 of 5

Location is superb, unit generally quite clean.

However, upon arrival, the unit door was standing open and unlocked.

Attention needed:

1. Mattress MUST be replaced. Right side (facing bed from foot) is broken down. No one should have to pay to sleep on it.

2. Reading lamps needed by bed--inexpensive pin ups from Ikea would do the job.

3. Lighting in sitting area is harsh--a dimmer switch would be a cheap fix.

4. Light level in bathroom is grotesquely inadequate.

5. Coffee pot needs to be replaced--a $20 Mr. Coffee would work.

6. Faucet on kitchen sink is very loose, unpleasant to use.

7. Refrigerator door is hinged on the wrong side--a 15 minute job to switch.

8. Venetian blind in sitting area lacks wand to adjust slats

9. Spout on bathtub is loose.

10. The decor in sitting area sucks--very amateurish. One hour of a professional's time and a budget of $250 would make a world of difference

Love location

Love the keyless entry system

Quiet

Clean except for stove top vent (I had to change the light bulb, yukyukyuk)

Cheaply furnished, completely dull knives, rickety pots/pans.

Heater...no control. manager wrote that they disconnected thermostat...OY.

Must be a 10 watt bulb in bathroom so you can't see but it is the only warm spot in the apartment!

Beacon hill Condo

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I spent a fabulous fall weekend here to see the colors and experience Boston. This condo is all you need for your stay in a perfect location in the middle of the beautiful Beacon Hill neighborhood. Although tiny, it is clean, quiet and bright with west-facing windows and a view of the city. Close to the red line T station and walks to the Public Gardens and Commons. Walk to lovely Cafes for your morning coffee and fine-dining restaurants for dinner.
