About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 8

If you're ready to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, take a relaxing trip to the coast! This home in Lincoln City is just a block from the beach, and it welcomes dogs, so bring the whole family!

Perched on a hilltop right next to the coastline, walk just down the road and down the tall staircase to reach the sand, where you can stroll along the water's edge, search for shells, build sandcastles, and enjoy the beauty of the area. When you've worked up an appetite, head into town for lunch at one of the many wonderful restaurants, peruse the souvenir shops, visit the casino, or even take a glass-blowing class. If you prefer outdoor activities, you will find golf courses, hiking trails, boating opportunities, and fishing in the area.

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home has just enough space for eight guests, and welcomes pets, though a small nightly fee does apply. The living room has large windows with views of the ocean, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and a flatscreen TV equipped with cable and a DVD/VCR player. You will have access to a library of movies and books, board games to play, and wireless Internet in case you need to check your work email.

A full kitchen has all the tools you may need to cook up meals for everyone, which you can sit down together and enjoy at the dining room table. When it's time to rest up for another day of walking on the beach, you have your choice between the first bedroom, which features a queen-size bed, the second bedroom which has a twin-size bed and a twin-over-full bunk, and a comfortable sofabed in the living room.

You will also have a laundry room in this home, so there's no need to worry about trying to keep your clothes clean while exploring town! Outside, a deck has a charcoal grill and fabulous views of the ocean - sit out here and watch the breathtaking sunset turn the sky different colors. There's room for two cars in the driveway (please do not park in the street).

This home is an ideal place to take your family or some close friends to walk on the beach, explore town, and relax at your temporary home and tell stories in front of the fireplace. The quickest beach access is just down the road and past a long staircase, but for guests who may not be able to climb so many stairs, four blocks to the south you will find a small parking lot with a cement ramp that gently leads to the sand.

Come visit Lincoln City, one of the most popular coastal vacation destinations, and get the most out of your stay in this spacious, comfortable, and welcoming oceanview home!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great Location

 • 3 of 5

This odd structured house is at a great location. The house was clean, but the bathroom and kitchen could use upgrades desperately. The master bedroom is very small, the bed barely fits in it. Past this, it was fine, and we still enjoyed the view and the easy access to the beach.

Cute older home - Needs WORK!

 • 2 of 5

Great location, great view, cute older home. Maintenance is definitely an issue with this home though. Pet friendly, and older carpets do not mix. Old fixtures, the only bath tub is REALLY dirty and very old. Queen bed tilted to the side. Seamed comfortable enough, but always felt like I was going to roll off the bed! Kitchen was adequate. Upon entering you xan immediately tell this is a "pet friendly" home. Urine smell is strong. Our dog is well behaved but just by her smelling all over the carpets, we knew it was really bad. Kids room beds were great. Furntiture is older, couch sinks in on one side. Recliners although comfortable, were worn.

Would I stay again? No, not for the asking price. Can do alot better for cost. Should be much better for price guys!

Beautiful Views

 • 3 of 5

We love the coast, especially Lincoln City. The location of the house is spectacular nestled into a quiet cozy area with beautiful views and very close to local stores for your needs and many restaurant options. My husband, his parents and I traveled up the coast for my daughters wedding with our small dogs. We realize that it takes continuous upkeep on rental properties as it does for our own homes. Not sure if the management company is helping you much! The home needs updated for such an amazing area. Your guests would become more frequent and recommend often. My dogs are very well traveled and well trained. The carpet in the main areas has urine stains all over the place. I had to lay out potty pads all over the place as my dogs were attempting to potty. Again they are well traveled and stay in many homes that allow pets. We never leave them for more than 2 hours. The kitchen is very nice just need updated, I am a chef and avid cook. The kitchen was stocked with wares fine. I am not sure why Candice left dishwasher tabs and dish liquid as there isn't a dishwasher. She was very nice and extremely helpful. The furniture needs updating and mattresses replaced. Other places we have rented in the area didn't have as many charges on them. I won't book through a vacasa managed property again. I paid a lot more than I would have paid at roads end. We liked your area and it worked out but I would suggest a gate on side of house to enclose for pets therefore your guests would let them out more frequently without worrying if they are going to fall off a massive cliff.

Very much enjoyed our stay

 • 5 of 5

This house was exactly what you would expect for a charming older beach house. The home was well- stocked with working appliances and the various kitchen essentials. We did not spend a ton of time in the house because we lucked out with some good weather this time around, but loved the fact that I was able to relax on the deck morning or night to enjoy an amazing view!

Nice quiet house with ocean front views

 • 5 of 5

The home was the perfect size for my wife and I and one other couple. It's the perfect get away where you can spend a slow morning drinking coffee and taking in the ocean. It's about 30 minutes to Newport which has a lot more to do than Lincoln City and near many great beaches.

A huge disappointment

 • 1 of 5

I come to the Oregon coast multiple times a year for anything from an extended weekend to 10 days. I have My favorite holiday rentals, but when they are not available I have the opportunity to try something different. I have never been disappointed until now.

This house has lovely views, but even on a rainy weekend I didn't want to be in the house to enjoy them. The house is in disrepair, the kitchen cupboards are misaligned, the kitchen has the bare minimum and isn't provisioned like I am used to. The kitchen had ants - which I battled with all weekend. The floors were filthy as was the bathroom. The master bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I dreaded going to bed and often had to leave because the mattress was so uneven. Overall,l the house is outdated, needs repair, needs a thorough cleaning and the bugs need to be managed.

The only redeeming quality is that it sits on the Oregon coast and I was able to leave it to spend my days recharging in my favorite spots

I strongly recommend you find another house. This is so unlike any other Vacasa property -- that are usually prestine and feel like home.
