Bay view home with in-ground heated pool. Located only 6 blocks from Times Square and very short walk to beach ( Just across the street.). .

Upper: level is 2 bedrooms with 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds. Living room has a sleeper sofa.. 2 full bathrooms. Full gourmet island kitchen with everything necessary to cook your family meal. The kitchen in the upper level has been remodeled. New stainless Steel appliances and granite island. Living room with large screen (55') HD TV and Fiber Optic service. Wireless internet. Sunroom with, additional queen sleeper sofa, and deck with full size grill over looking canal in front yard with boat launch, stairs to the in ground pool below.

Lower level with separate entrance has 1 bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower. There is a family room with a large screen TV, sleeper sofa and wireless internet.. There is also an office space with additional trundle daybed., Kitchenette has oven/stove, microwave and refrigerator. An Important note: most of the lower level has internal height of about 6' the minimum clearance below overhead joists is about 5'. The perfect place for all the kids to sleep. The lower level has concrete flooring that is then covered 95% with bright colored area rugs. There is no access from the upstairs to the lower level internally. This was a duplex and is rented as 1 full unit. There are 2 accesses to the lower level 1 from the front and another from the pool area. The lower level is essentially a bonus level. Our children and frequent guests jokingly and fondly refer to the lower level as ' The Hobbit House'. They love the 'cozy' Feel and the kids love having a space to call their 'own'.

The back yard is privacy fenced with the heated pool. Maximum depth of the pool is 6'. There are patio table and chairs. Beach toys, beach chairs and beach umbrella are also available.

Off street parking can accommodate up to 5 cars.

This home is in a quiet family neighborhood. .

Rental requires Saturday to Saturday stays unless otherwise approved by the owner. The island does observe a 10 PM quiet time. We are in a nice family neighborhood. and just across the street from the sugar white beach. During spring break we do require an adult over 31 years old to be staying in the home.

This house was great because of the location to restaurants/bars and the beach access. The pool is very nice. The house was clean. The neighborhood is nice. I would stay at this location again.

Graduation weekend.

The upstairs was very nice, but the lower level had a amp odor that you had to get used to. The house was a little older than I had anticipated but had every amenity you needed. The pool was perfect, lots of seating, loved the huge TV. We felt very comfortable for the most part. Just be careful in the basement as the ceilings were very low. We had a great stay. Lots to do in the area also.

A pleasant house and pool and directly across the street from a nice beach

The house was very pleasant for us (2 adults, 3 kids) plus other family (2 adults).

The pool was very nice and the kids had a great time spending multiple hours every day enjoying the warm water (pool is heated).

We did not use the outdoor theater except to stream music, but the setup looks very nice.

The kitchen has every utensil and pot / pan that you might need for pretty much any meal. A HUGE plus, was that there are GOOD knives (most rental houses seem to have horrible knives that make cutting potatoes very difficult). My only "complaint" so to speak was that there were zero kitchen items like aluminum foil and plastic wrap. Plus oddly - given that it is a rental - there were almost no spices (other than salt / pepper), where commonly left behind spices are typically retained. This was a small issue, but I did miss NOT having aluminum foil.

Thanks also for your suggestion to include additional items such as aluminum foil. We have acted on that and added foil to the list of items we stock for our guests. We generally keep condiments and other kitchen items that prior guests have left in the house and pass these forward for future guests. We do the same with pool/beach items such as floats, boogie boards, chairs and beach toys. We ask guests to hold off buying these items until they get to the house to see what is there. We had an amazing time!

My cousin, her husband and I took 9 high school senior on their spring break and had an amazing time. The house was everything in the description plus. We never wanted to leave once we arrived. It was our own slice of heaven for 1 week. The location was prefect, the pool is awesome, projection tv, and sound system. The e home owners are wonderful people. Anytime we had questions the homeowners where available to answer them. Everything you could possibly need during our stay was at the house. Some life memories where made during our stay. Can't wait to go back !!!

Senior spring break trip!

Overall, everything was perfect. The kids loved the basement and got a kick out of the height of the ceiling. We played in the pool every day and only went to the beach one day because the privacy of the pool and the backyard was too awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with absolutely everything you could need for cooking. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach play toys (boogie boards, etc.), pool chairs and beach chairs for all 12 of us. Kim was absolutely accommodating for all of our needs. She answered all of our questions in a prompt manner. The location to town center and to the grocery store was perfect. Looking forward to seeing the future house! And....I recommend the nachos at La Ola! We ordered the large nachos and the three of us could only finish half of the plate! The plate was as big as the table! Thanks, Kim, for everything.

Fantastic location, walking distance to our favorite spots.

We really enjoyed our stay! House is very comfortable with alot of character. Kids loved the pool and the pool decor. Would consider staying here again.

Great location and nice amenities for family groups

The two level "duplex" home is unique, and was well suited for our family. The location is great - close enough to walk to Time Square, but not totally in the middle of the heaviest tourist traffic. An easy walk across the street to the beach, view of the interior canal from the back porch, and an on site pool with privacy fence gave us balanced choices depending on the mood and the weather. The home is not new and/or flashy, but the owners have provided thoughtful amenities that made our stay wonderful. Well equipped kitchen, grill on the deck, floats for the pool, beach towels and chairs, large flat screen TV's and more, provide a great headquarters for our one week vacation with adult children. The low - ceiling finished lower level was ideal for our oldest son and his wife, since it has a bedroom, and living space, including kitchenette, that gave them their own apartment within the larger unit. Tall folk will find the lower level challenging. Overall a great experience, and pleasant owner that was happy to assist with any questions.

We will be rebuilding, adding a new pool and many amenities. Look for new pictures toward the end of summer. It should be done just in time for the Holidays 2016.

Easy access on and off the island. Many restaurants are within easy walking distance. Trolley stop is next door and room for 4 to 6 cars in the driveway. Bike/scooter rental next door. Close to Jungle Golf, Smugglers Golf, Zoomers Amusement Park, Lovers Key State Park, Pirate cruise, Calusa Blueway kayak/boating trail, Estero Bay Preserve, New expanded library. We are across the street from DiamondHead Beach Resort and Spa.
