Upper: level is 2 bedrooms with 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds. Living room has a sleeper sofa.. 2 full bathrooms. Full gourmet island kitchen with everything necessary to cook your family meal. The kitchen in the upper level has been remodeled. New stainless Steel appliances and granite island. Living room with large screen (55') HD TV and Fiber Optic service. Wireless internet. Sunroom with, additional queen sleeper sofa, and deck with full size grill over looking canal in front yard with boat launch, stairs to the in ground pool below.
Lower level with separate entrance has 1 bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower. There is a family room with a large screen TV, sleeper sofa and wireless internet.. There is also an office space with additional trundle daybed., Kitchenette has oven/stove, microwave and refrigerator. An Important note: most of the lower level has internal height of about 6' the minimum clearance below overhead joists is about 5'. The perfect place for all the kids to sleep. The lower level has concrete flooring that is then covered 95% with bright colored area rugs. There is no access from the upstairs to the lower level internally. This was a duplex and is rented as 1 full unit. There are 2 accesses to the lower level 1 from the front and another from the pool area. The lower level is essentially a bonus level. Our children and frequent guests jokingly and fondly refer to the lower level as ' The Hobbit House'. They love the 'cozy' Feel and the kids love having a space to call their 'own'.
The back yard is privacy fenced with the heated pool. Maximum depth of the pool is 6'. There are patio table and chairs and an additional grill. Beach toys, beach chairs and beach umbrella are also available.
Off street parking can accommodate up to 5 cars.
This home is in a quiet family neighborhood. .
Rental requires Saturday to Saturday stays unless otherwise approved by the owner. The island does observe a 10 PM quiet time. We are in a nice family neighborhood. and just across the street from the sugar white beach. During spring break we do require an adult over 31 years old to be staying in the home.
We are centrally located with easy on and off the island. Walk to the beach in minutes. Canal with bay view across the street in the front yard. Fishing and pier less than a mile from the house. Quiet safe neighborhood.

This house was great because of the location to restaurants/bars and the beach access. The pool is very nice. The house was clean. The neighborhood is nice. I would stay at this location again.
Overall, everything was perfect. The kids loved the basement and got a kick out of the height of the ceiling. We played in the pool every day and only went to the beach one day because the privacy of the pool and the backyard was too awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with absolutely everything you could need for cooking. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach play toys (boogie boards, etc.), pool chairs and beach chairs for all 12 of us. Kim was absolutely accommodating for all of our needs. She answered all of our questions in a prompt manner. The location to town center and to the grocery store was perfect. Looking forward to seeing the future house! And....I recommend the nachos at La Ola! We ordered the large nachos and the three of us could only finish half of the plate! The plate was as big as the table! Thanks, Kim, for everything.
We really enjoyed our stay! House is very comfortable with alot of character. Kids loved the pool and the pool decor. Would consider staying here again.
The two level "duplex" home is unique, and was well suited for our family. The location is great - close enough to walk to Time Square, but not totally in the middle of the heaviest tourist traffic. An easy walk across the street to the beach, view of the interior canal from the back porch, and an on site pool with privacy fence gave us balanced choices depending on the mood and the weather. The home is not new and/or flashy, but the owners have provided thoughtful amenities that made our stay wonderful. Well equipped kitchen, grill on the deck, floats for the pool, beach towels and chairs, large flat screen TV's and more, provide a great headquarters for our one week vacation with adult children. The low - ceiling finished lower level was ideal for our oldest son and his wife, since it has a bedroom, and living space, including kitchenette, that gave them their own apartment within the larger unit. Tall folk will find the lower level challenging. Overall a great experience, and pleasant owner that was happy to assist with any questions.

Our family rented the property for Spring Break and had a wonderful time! The location is ideal for families. Everything was in walking distance and there is something for everyone to do! The owner was a pleasure to work with and very attentive. She provided information about the island, restaurants, various coupons, and was available for any questions or needs. The house was very well equipped! Our family was so comfortable and would certainly rent the property again!
Only 6 blocks from Times Square shopping district, near Diamondhead Resort and very short walk across Estero Blvd to our beautiful sugar-sand beach. A public boat ramp is right across the street. Easy access on and off the island. Many restaurants are within easy walking distance. Trolley stop is next door and room for 4 to 6 cars in the driveway. Bike/scooter rental next door. Close to Jungle Golf, Smugglers Golf, Zoomers Amusement Park, Lovers Key State Park, Pirate cruise, Calusa Blueway kayak/boating trail, Estero Bay Preserve, New expanded library. We are across the street from Diamondhead Resort and spa.
