This 110 m2 apartment, located on the third story of an elevator building on the prestigious Carrer de Muntaner in L'Esquerra de l'Eixample, has beautiful period details, including original mosaic floors, high plaster ceilings, stain-glass windows and polished wooden archways. A modern fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet, and another half-bath (toilet and sink) offers the perfect combination of elegance and practicality.

There is a large master bedroom with an arched sitting area at the back of the apartment, while two smaller bedrooms, one windowed, one without, line the hallway, so that no bedroom faces the street, providing for a peaceful night's sleep. The large living room has six tall windows opening onto terraces, with couches and a television. An adjoining dining area comfortably seats 6.

Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, las Ramblas and the historic districts of El Born, El Raval and El Barrio Gotico the apartment is ideally located. Restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and public parking are all nearby.

We are a NYC family. I used to come to Barcelona to shoot TV commercials and loved it, now I just visit for fun with the family. I plan to spend 6 months a year in Europe and use it as a base.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Eixample

We wanted something that felt like it was part of Barcelona, not just a mod apartment you could find anywhere. There's some beautiful detail, and it's in one of the best areas. It's great for families because we get a nice big master and the kids have their own rooms.

What makes this apartment unique

It is very sunny. The stores and restaurants in the surrounding blocks are first-rate. You can walk to the historic districts but you are not surrounded by tourists, so it feels more like a neighborhood you live in.

We loved the apartment! Very clean and spacious!! Located within walking distance to cafes and shops! Would definitely stay here again! Our only bit of advice would be to not judge it from the entranceway and small elevator! Once in the apartment, you will love it!!☺️👍𣐼􏏼

Comfortable apartment in a upscale neighborhood .

My wife and I ended our 3 week tour of Spain at this location for 4 nights . The apartment was difficult to locate in the building and clear signage would help . The apartment was old but very clean and comfortable . We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the local stores where we were able to buy breakfast and dinner supplies . It is a 1 1/2 bath unit with a large master and 2 small additional bedrooms . I would recommend this apartment .

Four Days in a beautiful City

The apt was very convenient to everything. We had a few challenges with appliances etc, but we were in a foreign country. It was our 1st experience staying in an apt in a foreign country & We loved it. Lots of room & loved being able to spread out at night and have a kitchen. David was great, we spoke prior to booking & he was very helpful.

Owner's Response: We wish our guest knew that the English instructions for the appliances are in a book on the living room table. We may not have communicated this adequately when we introduced her to the apartment. A guest should always know they can call or text Graciela for help. We want everything to go perfectly, and want our guests to enjoy all the conveniences the apartment provides.

Great Place outside of the Tourist Zone

My family stayed here in August of are 15 and 12. For a European place, the flat is large and gave each child their own room...small rooms, but plenty of space...each room with their own air conditioners. It was hot outside and having air conditioning was a great plus. The master bedroom had plenty of space and wardrobes that could accommodate lots of clothes.

The host was great...she provided tips, was available via text and EXTREMELY responsive, even scheduling a cab for or drive to the airport. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit upon our arrival. We essentially had our own concierge. The property is well decorated and has a great deal of old world charm but comfortable beds and a cool vibe. It was great to look out on the street from the front windows and see the tree-lined streets and 'real world' of a Barcelona neighborhood. There is an elevator/lift which is small (as you would expect) but great for moving our luggage. Very quiet...we could not hear noise from neighbors and the building is very quiet. There is a laptop hooked up to the TV so if you want to have downtime watching Netflix...that is an easy option. Wifi worked great.

This is a great place for a group that wants to be close to all of the Barcelona sites to see, but not 'in the middle' of them all. This is in more of a residential neighborhood (cool, not bland neighborhood) and you will not find touristy shops outside your door, but good restaurants and interesting shops and options for food. If you are gay...this is on the edge and a short walk from a wide range of gay-friendly bars and clubs. We found the diversity of the neighborhood great. This is NOT las Ramblas, although you can get there in 25 minute walk or $6-7 Euro Cab ride (cabs are plentiful)...which is a true for a walk to the Gothic Quarter or Boqueria as well. If you are looking for a touristo spot..this is not it (which was perfect for us).

Old world charm with modern twist

The professional treatment you receive from first message sent to being met by the apartment manager is outstanding.

The apartment is exactly like advertised with no nasty surprises and its gorgeous and really roomy. Fantastic market around the corner with amazing produce. Buses and taxi's outside your door with the main city 5 min away.

This was ideal for my family who were travelling for 10 weeks and just needed R&R from hotels and restaurants.

Barcelona was a highlight of our trip and our accommodation was the cherry on top.

Beautiful, well located apartment for all ages

Our stay in this apartment was a great joy for every member of our family, two parents and four youngsters, all in the twenties. We loved the pure atmosphere, with the authentic details and the stylish modern interior. Its central location was very convenient for visiting the city in all different directions, by foot as we mostly did or by taking the nearby metro. We found many shops in the neighborhood, with good local or bio products, and around the corner one of the best five bakeries of Barcelona, making a daily party of our breakfast. Highly recommended to everyone who seeks a comfortable and pretty home to visit Barcelona.
