My name is Monica. I grew up in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, and have lived La Paz in 2008.
Since then, I've grown roots into the community through educational programs and efforts to advance environmental conscience in the form of organic gardens, recycling, and sustainable water-management practices.
Yolanda Espinoza purchased this house in 2012
Casa Terrazas has the best location (and view) for such a spacious home, it offers a bathroom for every room, and an incredible rooftop terrace with a hot tub and grill area.
The house is less than a block away from the waves, nestled in a quiet street that is within walking distance from restaurants and bars.
El Cirio offers great service with many amenities. The owner lives nearby and can attend to any issues personally or through trusted staff members.
El Cirio is committed to sustainability, social responsibility, and offers several unique services.
Our sustainability efforts include a community-based recycling program and the women-led business that makes and sells the natural cleaning products we use in our housekeeping service. We also provide childcare and traditional cooking upon request.
We loved our stay at Casa Terrazas . There were 4 of us, 2 couples and the layout of the house worked fabulously. Bathroom on every level of the house. It's 1/2 block from the Malecon which made getting out and walking to restaurants, the grocery store, the water, etc. very easy. The sculptures on the Malecon are a very nice added feature to LaPaz. We spent many an hour on the roof top patio reading, talking, laughing. You can't go wrong renting Casa Terrazas.
Great location with Sea of Cortez view from the terrace.
Yolanda and her team have been very helpful and cordial. The house layout worked great for my family, as I was traveling with my 2 kids and my parents.
Each bedroom has on suite bath with a powder on the living area.
Had a great time and can't wait to come back.
This La Paz house is in a good location to enjoy the Malecon strip with restaurants, shopping and general relaxation. It is located at one end of the busy Malecon area, one block back, so it is in a quiet residential area. You could be more central but I think there may be noise and traffic issues. The house itself provides most necessities. There is no microwave as stated and the kitchen supplies are a bit sparse if you want to eat in and use the kitchen. The house is spacious and clean and the rooftop hot tub with lounging area is a nice addition. Minor issues came up, like garbage collection, that weren't resolved (we were there for two weeks).
I stayed in this house with 3 others for 3 weeks on a work project. It was an incredible place to stay. The rooms were comfortable, the common area provided much needed social space, the kitchen was spacious and clean, and the roof top deck was a beautiful place to watch the sunset and wind down the evenings. The location is very near El Malecon and you can see joggers and walkers enjoying the seaside morning and night. We were able to get around La Paz on bicycles for 3 weeks at this location with close access to amazing restaurants, a great grocery store and incredible views. This place is perfect for friends, families or work trips. It's an incredible location, a beautiful and safe neighborhood, and a wonderful launching place to explore La Paz. This was an amazing experience that I will certainly do again.
Half-block from the Malecón (promenade) and the cafés, shops, and restaurants that decorate its curve along the La Paz cove. There will be no need for a car when you wish to stroll on the beach or visit the many traditional Mexican seafood (and other) restaurants nearby. When you’re in the mood for home-cooked meals and home-prepared drinks, you’ll find the ingredients in the supermarkets or traditional seafood Mercados and farmers market a few of blocks westward.
