We look forward to hosting your Northern Michigan adventure in the near future!!
We really enjoyed our recent stay at the log cabin. Between the Decor and the silence of Michigan's best nature can give it was great. Was a little difficult to find initially as we didn't find the sign. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves.
Everything was just perfect at the cabin. Extremely clean, well-maintained, and stocked with just about anything you may need. The owners are incredibly welcoming and warm. If you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the woods, you owe it to yourself to check out the Aubert Den Log Cabin.
We had a great time at the Aubert Den. Very nice place with a great family feeling- space for games to be played, eating areas, board games and lots of movies provided. it was clean and well-kept. Access to ski trails couldn't be any better! Thanks for such a nice cabin!
The Aubert Den is truly a cozy tiny cabin that have all the essential necessities and sleep comfortably with four adults and two kids. No internet for city slickers, but the complimentary movies, audio system, and board games are in the cabin for enjoyment. We enjoy the warmth of the fire pit and star glazed at night. There is a front lawn and back patio section with a hammock. Trails, beaches, and river sport are all within 30 minutes drive away. All the areas is surrounded by trees. I can imagine it be comfortable and heart warming to stay during the winter. The owners of the cabin lives about 100 feet from the cabin, this asking for assistance is easy and convenient.
We had such a great stay at the Aubert Den cabin! The cabin is comfortable, spacious, and rustic like my family's cabin up north was when I was a child. This was the perfect spot from which to start a bike ride (North Country Trail is close). It was also the perfect spot to stay for our two-day fishing trip on the Pere Marquette River. Ashley and Lawrence were kind, helpful, and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
We stayed two nights on our way to another destination and had a good time. It is a smaller cabin next to the owners main house (but secluded enough you don't really notice). The accommodations are simple but nice and clean. We had a good time hiking and biking the short trails accessible from the cabin and sitting by the fire pit at night. There isn't much in the way of restaurants real near by so i would recommend buying groceries on the way in, which should be expected if you are looking for this type of property. We enjoyed a day of hiking around the Manistee River area not too far from the cabin.
