Our accommodation located on the modern urbanization of Monte y Mar (Mountain and Sea) in Gran Alacant. on the top of mountain.

Gran Alacant has plenty to offer those looking for a relaxing holiday and also those looking for something a bit more active.
With easy access to Alicante city and the excellent motorway there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas.
Accommodation includes a Lounge/Dinning-room include English and all Europe TV channels, Full fitted kitchen with washing machine and bathroom with toilet/shower on the ground floor
On a top floor there are : Master Bedroom with a nice small balcony and the Second bedroom with two separate beds, all the beds have a very comfortable high quality mattress and fully fitted bathroom with toilet/bath. Upstairs you will find a large sunshine terrace with BBQ, chairs and sunbeds everything for enjoy the panoramic view over the sea, mountains and Alicante.
Air conditioning units fitted for cool/warm comfort in a whole house. Beautiful swimming pool is just 50 meters from the house, 5 min walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants.
Gran Alacant is a completely self-sufficient area with all services and medical facilities, 10 min away by the car from Alicante airport, and only 800 m to magnificent wide sandy Carabassi beach making this townhouse ideally situated for those that want's to get the best out of a holiday.
The area is offers easy access to all types of leisure amenities, and has a superb range of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance of the accommodation.
Monte Y Mar, Gran Alacant is situated on the coast between the small Spanish resort of Los Arenales and the larger Santa Pola.
Both places have superb beaches, Los Arenales beach runs into our own Carabasi beach - miles of golden sand. A huge water park, Aqualandia, Mundo Mar with dolphins show, Theme Park and Terra worth to see.
Santa Pola has its own Fishing Port where you can catch a glass bottomed boat to the island of Tabarca.
The town has a weekly market, many fine restaurants and an old fashioned Funfair (Pola Park).
Alicante itself is a 10 -15 minute drive along the coast, has wonderful shops, try El Corte Ingles, Promenade and Marina with excellent Bars and Restaurants.
Benidorm, Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia water park are all within approx 40 minutes drive.

After a short taxi ride from the Airport we arrived at our chosen property ,We let ourselves in and was surprised at the amount of space and how the pictures were true. We went upstairs and found that there was plenty of wardrobe space , The property was very clean and apart from lacking a microwave the Kitchen had everything needed ,We found a shopping Trolly which came in very handy when going to the Supermarket which was only a short walk away and had a good selection of Foods wine ect, The pool which we found was very clean and never too busy , After a quick telephone call to Graham he came and showed me how to get the tv on ,just a thought some instuctions in English would have been handy ,In short we Really enjoyed our stay and would have no seconds thoughts of staying there again and would Recommend it to our Friends , The owner Alex was very good at answering all my Questions before our stay ,Thanks Alex :)
My second trip to Gran Alacant and second in this property. It's a lovely place so clean and comfortable, have everything for relaxing holiday. TV with all European channels, Wi-Fi is very reliable. With easy access to Alicante city and to the surrounding areas.The communal pool is well maintained in just in front of the house. The shops, bars and restaurants close to the property are of a high standard and varied. In particular I'd recommend a Dutch restaurant Tres Besos and the Mexican restaurant El Texicano. Thanks for grate holiday.
I won't think twice about coming back in future when I can.
Nice and welcome, house lovely everything we needed, no need to take travel iron's, hairdryer etc as this is all provided, close to lovely long beach, plenty nice places to eat and shop. The property was very clean and well maintained. During our stay we visited some local towns & villages, I found driving around so easy as the roads are well sign posted and if I can't get lost then no one can. We will definitely being returning and would highly recommend this property to friends and family.
This experience was very good from the from start to finish. Super communication with owners. The house was very modern, clean and comfortable, perfectly situated for the town centre, beach and other local amenities found. It has everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen with a coffee maker.
Wonderful sandy beach is very close, The pool is great! Very clean and we used it every day. During our week; we did not see people using it so it was close to private.
We would highly recommend this accommodation for any peoples and families .
Estuvimos en esta casa en el mes de febrero, con miedo de pasar frio, sabiendo que era un problema comun para las ciudades del sur. Pero la casa resulto muy calida y acogedora. Eramos un grupo de 5 deportistas, entrenandonos 2 veces al dia, por eso para nosotros 2 banos con duchas era una salvacion. Entre otras ventajas: la cocina muy bien equipada, sitio para aparcar frente a la casa, un supermercado cerca, muy buena comunicacion con los duenos. Para nosotros fue un lugar ideal, realmente es para volver.
I spent a week in the middle of January as holidays in this house. The house matches with the descriptions. There are lots of things to do near the house; restaurants, pharmacy (!!!), Hospital and lots of supermarkets and even a commercial center.
This house is near the playa carabasssi.
Swimming pool is discreet and very near the house. Wi-fi and TV connection ok.
The top floor is perfect to have a perfect view to the sea and mountain.
The owner is very reachable and he answered very quickly to my questions before the booking and during the holidays too! I think it's very important.
It's very easy to park a car in front of the house and the neighbours are very discreet. Beds are comfortable and beautiful bathrooms. Bedrooms have lots of place to store clothes.
