Quaint cottage is just 1 mile from Craigville Beach, 2 miles from Main St. Hyannis with over 40 restaurants, lovely shops, and nightlife. Although these attractions are only a five minute drive, you will feel like you are away from it all in the lovely, quiet, private backyard and patio--perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The house is nicely furnished, has charming original artwork, and is a nice place to hang out if you end up with a rainy day, with lots of board games or books provided. The house has a fire-placed living room, cozy, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, a gas stove, farmhouse sink, a dishwasher, and a large fridge. The dining area off kitchen seats four comfortably. The den has a 42' flat screen and basic cable. The home can accommodate up to 6 comfortably, in 2 queen bedrooms, a den with a double bed futon, and two beds in the partially finished basement. The house has one bathroom plus an outdoor shower. Cable TV, wi-fi, and bose speaker port for I pod, and charcoal grill provided. There are many beautiful, sandy beaches nearby, as the town of Barnstable has 17 beaches, and the calm, warm water of Nantucket Sound. Linens, beach towels, canopy, umbrellas, and chairs are provided, or bring your own. There is a washing machine and dryer. This mid-Cape location means everything is within your reach.
We made it a labor of love to renovate this charming house, which we enjoy year-round. The area has so much to offer. We hope you will enjoy it with your family, just as much as we do with ours.

The mid-Cape location of this home, and its proximity to Craigville beach and downtown Hyannis, along with the quiet backyard made this house perfect for us.
The mid-Cape area has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Beaches, shops, restaurants, sunsets, hikes, you name it. You will relax, rejuvenate, refresh.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was well equipped and was close to everything. Even though it was close to Hyannis, it was in a quiet neighborhood.
We loved the house, it was clean and had everything we could need for a great week on the Cape. The only thing that could have made it a little better was an air conditioner but other than that it was great! The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely rent from them again.
This is a great property to stay on in Hyannis. Lots of room, great kitchen, good bedrooms, nice backyard with seating. 1 mile walk to the Beach. Great to have a washer and dryer too! The property was very well maintained and clean. Would highly recommend this. This is our second time ! The owners are kind nice people.
This house is as charming as it looks in the photos, with a lovely, very private, back patio and yard for relaxing. The owners were very nice, the house was well-equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, and toys, and a charcoal grill complete with charcoal and various accessories. The best feature was the location - the beach is literally 5 minutes away, as is a grocery store. Downtown Hyannis is maybe 10 minutes away, tops. We had a really nice week here!
The home was exactly as advertised, in good condition, with that specific charm. The owner-couple furnished us with all necessary equipment as well as
good informations and suggestions what to do or to find in the surrounding area.
It's only a five-minute-drive to the beach, all beach equipment was provided.
Very nice backyard for barbecue or just relaxing. We found this property highly recommended for careless and restful vacation !

Our family usually stays in the Pocasset/Bourne area but travelled a bit out on Cape this time to see friends and try a new locale. We were pleased with the value of this rental, especially since we reserved kind of late and didn't expect we would find something that fit our needs for a two week stay. This was a nice location close enough to town but a quiet and private setting.
Owners are responsive, have attention to detail with thoughtful suggestions of local places to try for those not familiar with area.
Great beach just a mile away, one of the better ones based on our past Cape travels. Get a town parking pass if you plan to frequent beach with kids or have more than minimal beach ware to haul. It's worth it.
House is nicely appointed with all new kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils. Back yard deck is nice in the afternoon and evenings for grilling or a quiet, private meal. No staring into someone else's backyard, plenty of trees. Queen beds make a big difference compared to some cramped and smaller accommodations you can get from a lot of Cape rentals trying to squeeze numbers into a house.
This was a nice find and we would easily book again.
Things you might enjoy in the area are trips to local beaches, hiking many trails nearby, shopping and dining downtown, brewery tour and tasting, whale watching, kayaking, biking, visiting a kettle pond or lake, a trip to the National Seashore just 30 mins away, day trips to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, concerts at the Melody Tent, farmer's markets or artisan fairs, galleries and museums, and local theatre.
