Both houses are finished to a high standard. Mikri Ammos (higher up the hill) nestles among the olive trees and has stupendous views. it is in an ancient and magical place where there are signs of ancient habitation. It has three terraces under the trees and a large roofed terrace in front of the house. We built it last year. It has all the necessary domestic appliances and air-conditioning. It has two conventional double bedrooms both en-suite and a mezzanine bedroom also en-suite.
Villa Megali Ammos is bigger and is only thirty metres from the sea. It is set among terraces full of fruit trees (oranges, lemons, mandarins, quince, apricots) and flowers. It has many terraces for cocktails and eating. One - by the kitchen - is roofed for day-time eating; another - the loggia - also roofed, is on the first floor, like an external sitting room with sofa and arm chairs; other terraces are shaded by olive trees or open to the sky so at night you watch the shooting stars or the lights of Skopelos. This house has all necessary appliances plus air-conditioning and WiFi. It has three en-suite double bedrooms. Both houses are in Megali Ammos bay, one of the most beautiful places in the island. The views from both houses are stunning: the bay and the distant cliffs and hillsides of Alonnisos covered in pine forests and in the distance the island of Skopelos. In the bay dolphins sometimes play and gambol and fishing boats occasionally anchor over night.
