The luxurious holiday home is located in Coubaril, a peaceful part of Castries, bordering a tropical rainforest, with a beautiful view of Martinique, the northern French Sister Island. The house is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom on the 2nd floor with private terrace, 1 large living room, 2 bathrooms with shower and bathtub and a full-equipped kitchen. The house has a large covered terrace for relaxing (hammock available) and an 8 m pool. The next beach is about 10 min. away near the La Toc Hotel. Here is a 9-hole golf course as well. From the house, you can get to one of the top 20 beaches, the Reduit Beach, but also the lonely beaches in the north of the island in the Cape Estate. Here you will also find the exclusive 18 hole St. Lucia Golf Resort & Country Club. Excursions through the island, tours in the tropical rainforest and other tours can be organised. Stunning property with amazing views in a peaceful location.

We have just spent 2 weeks in this beautiful villa and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil, spacious place to stay with great views and a pool to cool off in. The 3 double on suit rooms are a great size and we're perfect for our party of 6, there are plenty of fans to keep you cool at night. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and making cocktails plus a nice BBQ for knocking up some lovely jerk chicken.The outdoor eating/chilling area is massive and we spent plenty of time out there winding down, staring out at the lovely view drinking a few Pina Coladas. The pool is a good size and was used often to play water volleyball whilst the lady's lay on there sun loungers soaking up the rays. Serena and Tony have been very helpful whilst here, giving us plenty of information on how to get here from the airport, where the supermarkets, restaurants, nice beaches and things to do whilst here are and cannot thank them enough for the villa.

Ps 4x4 a must as very hilly.

Beautiful Property in a picturesque setting!!

We had a wonderful stay with our family and friends. We enjoyed the sparkling pool and convenient location. Be sure to check out Smugglers beach (fantastic restaurant - The Naked Fisherman), see Soufriere on a boat tour with Captain Mango, (check trip advisor, he was amazing) and enjoy local restaurants and markets. Everything was great and Tony the property manager was responsive to our requests and very helpful. We hope to return!

Perfect Vacation Home

I can't say enough about this wonderful home! The house was clean, and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which was nice for three couples travelling together. The house is in a great location, just a 10 minute drive got you to the city, to the grocery store, or to the beach. Our favorite place to be at the end of the day was at the beautiful long table on the deck, where we had dinner most evenings. As some other reviewers mentioned there are dogs in the neighborhood, which you can hear barking, but they were usually quiet at night...and really, there's not much you can do about that anyway.

Serena was very helpful, and assisted in arranging our transfer to and from the house, and was very welcoming and gracious. If we ever go back to this gorgeous part of the world, we would stay here again.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!

Words can not begin to describe how beautiful this home and island are! We just got back (literally 2 nights ago) and I couldn't wait to write this review. I truly don't feel the pictures do it justice (and the pics are gorgeous!). The pool and decks offer breathtaking views and were our favorite spots to spend our time. It was just the 2 of us so we slept in the upstairs bedroom which is INCREDIBLE. All the rooms are, as well as the bathrooms, but we honestly didn't spend much time inside. The house was supplied with everything we could possibly need, plenty of it! We were met at the airport by Junior from the recommended car rental, Andy Sanchez.Junior was wonderful!! Told us things about the island, took us to get groceries and was just a beautiful soul to get to know. Definitely use them and request Junior to pick you up! We highly recommend 4wheel if you like to go off the beaten path (which we do).

When we arrived at the house we were greeted by Tony, the owner's brother. Another beautiful soul! Probably one of the nicest people we had ever met. He called to check on us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed and we truly enjoyed getting to know him the day he came to clean the pool (which is never dirty for some reason....the pool was my favorite spot, next to the hammock!) Christine, the owner's sister, gave us great spa recommendations and tour information. We only did the "tourist" thing one day and it is surely worth it (mud bath, Pitons, etc). We recommend Charley's tours!! We highly recommend getting to know the locals. Truly a beautiful people. The "Jump In" party in Gros Islet is unreal (if that is your thing) and the food on the island from the high end restaurants (check out The Edge for sure) to the tiny island bars off the beaten path (Ms. Majorgies to name just one) are a culinary dream.

If you have ever traveled to the islands/Mexico, then you understand that dogs are everywhere roaming freely around. Most homes do not have AC because of the costs, so the dogs actually prefer to be outside. They do bark (that's what dogs do), but for us it was just a nice reminder of our pups at home. We never felt afraid or threatened by them. One day we even walked right by all of them and they didn't so much as move a muscle. They mostly bark at tires and I can't blame them. It's island life...they don't want the noise!

Serena is wonderful and did an amazing job with her home! Could write SO much more, but sadly out of room

A Wonderful Home To Rent With Family

We just returned from our stay on St. Lucia. My wife and I spent a week at this villa with our three children, ages 14, 12 and 5, and had a wonderful time. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home. It felt safe, was reasonably clean, and appliances were generally in good working order. Vigie Beach is only a 10 minute drive and this was our favorite beach. It's near the small airport, and that's probably why the beach was free from other tourists, but flights were infrequent and not disruptive. The home is close to several supermarkets and the main road that can take you to Rodney Bay (~25 minutes) or towards the Pitons in the south (~an hour plus).

The reason why we didn't give the property 5 stars is there were several items that we would have supplied if we had owned the house. There was no hand soap, no dish soap, no laundry detergent, no extra toilet paper, no bottled water, no directions to supermarkets or sights or recommendations on restaurants or tour companies. This is not a huge complaint, but if we had known, we would have brought items like soap with us to use during our week-long stay. The other issue is dogs in the neighborhood, which the owner can do nothing about. Our first night there, a dog was crying for most of the night, as if in agony. Every night, the various groups of neglected dogs would bark at each other at random times, and we heard numerous dog fights. Perhaps the guests at Sandals heard the same, in happens throughout the Caribbean. But it unnerved my wife (the kids slept through it). During the heat of the day, the dogs were lethargic and non-threatening when we drove by.

There is only one power strip that can accept typical US plugs (120V) for your chargers and computers. You will want to bring a music source as the boom box in the house is dead. The gas oven works well, however two of the four burners are not working (including the simmer burner). There was no coffee maker when we arrived, but Christine, the owner's sister, supplied one.

We all loved the pool, the outdoor dining table and loungers. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The owner furnished the house tastefully and with care. I will cherish the memory of waking to a cup of coffee, opening up the house, and watching the sun light up the ocean from one of the loungers. The bird, insect and frog songs were incredible. Hawks circled the house daily. Flowers were everywhere! It was a wonderful vacation.

wow!

We stayed for two weeks at this fantastic property and had a blast. The porch is huge and the perfect place to eat, read a book, drink a cocktail, see the kids enjoying themselves in the pool (while being in the shade yourself), or just hang out. There is a second porch as part of the master bedroom upstairs which is a perfect place for romance. The neighborhood is very safe and a supermarket is nearby. You do need a 4WD though! Christine took great care of us and arranged a car at a good rate + a day trip on a sail boat to the volcano/mud bath/estate with swimming, snorkeling and dancing on the way. We highly recommend this little peace of paradise! Don't forget to visit the beaches on the complete north of the island as well (near cotton bay village, only 30 min drive)
