A very good value, this adorable Casita is 1 bedroom 1 bath detached studio that is brand new with polished concrete floors, oriental rugs, and custom silk curtains with opaque backing. The Casita is fully air conditioned and includes the comfort of in-floor radiant heat. A comfy queen-size bed is completed with a down comforter and lots of designer pillows. A new 32 inch TV. The casita has a full bath, with travertine tile, an antique mirror, and a pedestal sink. Very charming and sweet. Only five blocks to the Plaza!
The Casita is a cute studio style, it does not have a living room. In addition there is NOT A FULL KITCHEN however it is provided with a TV, small refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker. It can be rented separately or in addition to the main house next door if an additional Bedroom is needed. Quiet, clean, comfortable.
Absolutely perfect as a romantic get-away for two.
Santa Fe has excellent restaurants, galleries, museums, and shopping are located only three blocks away. Several hotels are located in the downtown area-but at twice the price! Off street parking is available, but you can walk to some of the best spots in Santa Fe from this downtown location.

Our parents have lived in Santa Fe a long time and we were born here. The Casita is a completely brand new structure that our Dad designed and built. Our Parents manage the rentals themselves, they do not hire a management service that would charge additional fees. Dad is a designer/builder and Mom is a Realtor. Santa Fe is such a beautiful town, we think you will really love it here.
Audrey Curry purchased this studio in 2002
This location is so close to the Plaza and in walking distance to so many shops, restaurants and galleries.
We stayed three nights in this cozy casita... it has most everything you need, and nothing you don't. Situated 6 blocks west of the Santa Fe Plaza (it took us less than 10 minutes to walk), the casita has a queen size bed, a full bath, a small fridge with freezer, microwave with cups and dishes, and a pleasant outdoor seating area. Important for this area is a single parking space off the street. There are at least a dozen restaurants and coffee shops within a 6 block walk as well. We dined at the Plaza Cafe (blue corn enchiladas!) and the Thunderbird Bar & Grill (green chili pork stew!), plus a fabulous French restaurant a few blocks further east for breakfast/brunch, Chez Mamou. If you are into the art scene, Canyon Road is only about 2 miles. Pros: location, location, location. Cons: if you're worried about ironing clothes, bring your own iron, and if you like fluffy pillows, you might find these a bit flat. Overall, a 5 star rating.
We have stayed at both Casa Geneva and Casa Luca each summer over the past 8 years. We love the rentals - they are perfect for walking everywhere. The owners are absolutely great to work with and very responsive. The Casita is the perfect rental for one or two people. We never leave Santa Fe without making our reservations for the following year. We can't speak high enough for the quality of the rental.
We loved staying at the Casita. The location is perfect. You can walk to everthing you need. It’s so nice having access to a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The bed is comfortable and the off street parking is a plus. I would stay here again.
We had a very nice experience here. The guest home is perfect for a couple that doesn't need an entire house. Just as comfortable as a hotel room at half the price. A very easy walk to great restaurants and shops!
I stayed in the Casita which was a 15minute walk to the plaza/downtown. It's an easy straight shot so the location was pretty good. There are certainly closer homes and casitas along the walk though.
The host Audrey was very basic in her service as well. She generally responded in a decent amount of time, but definitely does not go out of her way to be helpful. Never met her in person.
Overall, I would say good, but not great. The casita itself had some pretty significant cobwebs ans dust, but bed felt clean and was pretty comfy.
We stayed here for a quick weekend in Sante Fe and loved it! It's a short walk to lots of restaurants, bars, art galleries, the plaza, etc. Would recommend this highly for any couple looking for something quaint, comfortable, affordable, and really well-maintained. The owners communicated quickly and answered all of our questions right away! Such a great place to stay! :)
