In summer and winter, our house is wonderfully relaxing starting point for hikes in the near and around Altenau. Your car is parked directly on the property.

World Heritage 'Upper Harz Water': With the Upper Harz Water Management since August 2010 is one of the largest and most important pond and grave composite system in the world to the UNESCO World Heritage. Harz National Park: Altenau is right on the edge of the Harz National Park, one of the largest national parks in Germany.
