We spend 5 nights here in Aug 2016 ... The house is clean and cozy ... The village is quiet and relaxing ... Germany is 10 mins away .. Where you can go for a cheaper grocery ..
Zurich is just 30 mins by car ... Unfortunately there was no Internet .. The one they offer .. you have to go outside the house to get the signal ... The host lady and her daughter ( Cathrine and Anna ) are very kind and helpful .. They were around whenever we needed something ( they also washed some cloths for us when we asked about a laundry shop ) ..
It was pity their trampoline was broken .. The kids would love it .. Was one of my reasons to stay here honestly.
We liked our stay ... So many things and places to do and go close to the house .. Car is necessary for that ..
Thanks Cathrine and Anna
Excellent property in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas of Switzerland and Germany. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds and plenty of room for a family. We travelled as a family of 4 with two young children and it proved to be perfect. The apartment is quite roomy with parking outside. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We explored the surrounding areas, Zurich, Lucern, Germany, Basel, and drove the Furka and Grimsel passes. This location was great for all of these things.. There is no local shop in Siglistorf but a post office and a Bar/Pizzera. There are some lovely walks to do locally into the surrounding woodlands. I will certainly be recommending it to friends. Excellent place for a quiet break away.
Nice place, clean and cozy. If you like staying in the country side, you will love this place. It is quiet and has everything that you would need for your stay. It is only about 25 minutes from Zurich and very close to Germany. We had a great time visiting different towns in Switzerland and Germany.
This is a nice holiday home to stay in. It is in a nice village in easy reach to Zurich and to small village in germany. We enjoyed our stay very much and the owners is kind and friendly.
We were fortunate to find this 'Ferienhüsli', as there are hardly any other options for self-catering accommodation in the area. Nevertheless, it proved to be the perfect place to stay if you are seeking peace and tranquility in lovely surroundings and want to bring your dog, like we did.
The apartment was very clean, with good beds and facilities. Every day of our one-week stay we took the opportunity to explore the surroundings (great hikes in the area) and enjoy nature (e.g. some red kite roosts in the direct vicinity).
We would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

Siglistorf is located in the sunny valley of the Upper Rhine at the edge of the Jura Mountains between Zurich, Baden, Bad Zurzach, and the southern Black Forest, in a diverse, natural landscape that begins right at the doorstep of the home. It is just 15 minutes to Bad Zurzach or Baden, 30 minutes to Zurich or Schaffhausen (Rhine Falls) and 0 minutes to gorgeous nature. The newly-built, bicycle path is located directly at the end of the property and offers something for everyone along its extensive, cycling tour. Horseback riding is available in both the neighbouring towns and, when combined with the nearby forest and its countless, winding roads, is sure to be a truly impressive experience. Public transportation is available for visits to the Zurich metropolis and the historic town of Kaiserstuhl on the Rhine, as well as the hot springs in Baden or Bad Zurzach, the casino, or the Swiss Military Museum in Full-Reuenthal, where one of the original German Tiger II tanks is on display, if that piques your interest.
