This brand-new chalet is set in its own grounds, just a 5 minute walk from the ski lift in winter and a top-class golf course in summer. The three-storey house enjoys stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif from its wrap-around balconies, and is extremely comfortable. An 85m2 lounge and dining area takes up the whole of the top floor. The vaulted ceiling, squashy sofas, open fire and huge flat screen television, DVD and gaming system, combine to provide the perfect place to relax after a hard day’s sport. The six-seater Jacuzzi outside is an added touch of luxury. The American-style, open-plan, stainless-steel kitchen has all mod cons: fridge, freezer, two ovens, five-ring hob, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate laundry room, next to the ski and boot drying room. Eight oak-floored double/twin bedrooms are on the lower two floors. Four of the bedrooms are en-suite. There is a separate shower-room and separate bathroom with sunken tub.
Activities: The nearest ski area is La Flegere, which links into Le Brevent slopes offering numerous pistes for all abilities, and unlimited off-piste skiing. The free ski bus, and mountain train, also leave from here, giving guests easy access to the other ski areas within a 10 kilometre radius. Cross-country skiers can join the tracks right outside the chalet, with more than 20 kilometres of forest trails, of all grades and lengths, to suit all levels. In summer Chamonix's top class golf course is just a short walk away. Mountain biking and walking trails start at the door. There is a fishing lake just around the corner.
For evening dining, there are two excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk, as well as the shops and bars of Les Praz. It is a nice, easy walk into Chamonix town centre.
We often think of our week spent at Chalet Les Bois and wish we could do it again.
It was a pipe dream of mine to celebrate my big '60' birthday with the whole family in a gorgeous chalet and this completely lived up to all expectations - I would thoroughly recommend it!

We loved this chalet and spent two weeks in it with all our extended family. The open plan top floor is a beautiful place to hang out and made evenings together a brilliant experience.
All the furnishings and bathrooms are top quality and the location was perfect for us, as we could get in to the town or on tot the mountains quickly and easily.
We wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend.
The chalet is just 3 kilometres from Chamonix Mont-Blanc. It is an ideal location for a summer or winter holiday. The skiing ranges from 3800 metres to 1000 metres, guaranteeing ski able snow from December to Easter. Chamonix offers a varied and exciting night life, and numerous activities for non-skiers. Ski: The Chamonix Valley is a mecca for skiers. It boasts 5 separate ski areas, plus the Vallee Blanche, the world-renowned 24 kilometre off-piste descent. Each ski area is linked by free ski bus. Le Tour, at the very end of the valley is ideal for beginners and intermediates. It also offers some impressive back country itineraries into Switzerland. The Grand Montets, in Argentiere, rises to 3300 metres and is a big draw for off-piste skiers, but also has a good selection of blue and red pistes. La Flegere and Le Brevent are linked by piste and cable car, and are the nearest to the chalet. Les Houches, 10 minutes south of Chamonix, is a nice family resort with good skiing below the tree-line, ideal on snowy days. The Chamski pass covers all ski areas except Les Houches.
