About the property

Surrounded by palm trees and cypresses is this very quiet, almost 200 years old village Finca. She has several sun terraces, a large garden with sun and shade areas, a pond with rippling water, and well-kept, large lawn. Another trees: oaks, olive lemon strawberry Loorber- carob Wallnuß- and almond trees. Private covered parking (important in summer).

Air conditioning, barbecue, satellite TV, DVD / CD player, microwave, toaster, washing machine, coffee and dryer (you can as often as in-house linen and towels change).

Ideal for 2 people. For 3 or 4 people there is an apartment on the same property. Questions for you, we can send photos and description.

Separate duvets with coatings are available on request, available. Double window.

The kitchen is very fully equipped. It is cooked with gas.

In the living area, a large fireplace. Firewood is enough there.

Air-conditioning, both for heating in winter, as the cool in summer.

2 cots (up to 3 years) are available.

Landlady lives next door, if something is missing, just ring the bell.

Go Air: Especially recommended is January. There are the 'calmas de enero', the quiet time. This mean the Mallorcan warm sunny days where time seems to stand still.

After that comes, in February, sometimes even the end of January, the almond blossom, which you really should not miss.

For beach lovers we recommend the June, because it is not so hot, and also September and October.

For hikers is the best season from January to May and again from October to December.

Who wants to have it quite warm, of course, comes in July and August at his expense. Airco's there and the public, beautiful pool just around the corner.

The beaches are very easy to reach by car.

Worthwhile visits: In any case, you should have seen the canyon of 'Torrente de Pareis' once.

But one does best on the motorway from Palma to 'Inca'. From there, turn left into the mountains towards 'Monastery of Lluch' on Selva and Caimari. After the descent to the monastery you take the right exit to the bay of 'Sa Calobra'. The following is a beautiful looped but good to be traveled road through the highest mountains of the island, down to the beach of Sa Calobra. They envisage the car on a paid parking lot and continue on foot into the canyon through a short pedestrian tunnel. There you can wander arbitrarily far from the beach to deep into the gorge. And Along Come rocks that you can climb up to a certain extent.

For the return trip, we take the coastal road, about Soller Deya and Valldemossa. There one can enjoy the sunset in the sea.

For such a day trip it is advisable to rent a car, as for most hidden places on the island.

In the immediate vicinity: Just outside the front door begin beautiful footpaths in the mountains. The old post to Banyalbufar, near the sea. Or 'Son Cabaspre' to Valldemossa. But the climb up the mountain, 'Sa Fira dels Rams' to the Christ statue, and equal to the old hermitage of 'Marie Stella'. The new Pic-nic-place on the way to 'Posada del Marques' and the mountain road there, with old olive trees.

The place Esporles itself is also very attractive, with several small bars and restaurants and pretty narrow streets, where sitting in the summer of grandpa or grandma outside the door and talk to neighbors for a chat.

Highly recommended: For many tourists, the Majorcan folk dances, always with live music, a surprising experience. They are weekly, mostly in the evenings in various villages, by enthusiastic citizens, given spontaneously the best. Anyone can join, but previous experience is desired.

Every village has one week in the summer fiesta. Mostly to celebrate the sacred, each patron saint. Esporles is Sant Pere, Saint Peter, to the 29th Of June. Since there are evening concerts, often with dancing and fun fair. So far away from home luckily that the hype is not heard. After that recurs absolute peace in the village.

Until October, usually the first Sunday, the cake fair, the village once again flooded with visitors from all over the island. Delicious !

  • The 150 by 200 large bed covered with bottom sheet, top sheet, blanket or Plümo (in season) and bedspread (or bedspread). For coffee, there are 3 possibilities: An Italian model, which is situated on the gas burner, so the boiling water generated by pressure upward by pulling it through the coffee. A special coffee-pot in which coffee is brewed with hot water, then pressed down with a fine sieve. A Bosch coffee machine for one or two cups. For tea there is a teapot and a kettle. In the garden house with air conditioning and electric heating for a pleasant climate. In the large apartment has central heating and a very efficient wood stove .. For the beach there are mats, towels and umbrellas. We also offer: Yoga and dances of the world, on special days in the yoga hall.

Garden House in Esporles

This place lives up to the description on the Web in all respects. It is in a peaceful corner of a lively but peaceful village. A Mallorcan village with few tourists. All the facilities you can want for a self catering holiday - a supermarket, excelllent restaurants and bars and a children's playground. Local beauty spots all within easy reach.

The garden is a delight. Our grand daughter enjoyed playng with the fallen lemons from the tree.

The owner is a charming and unobtrusive hostess.

Will certainly recommend it and will be back ourselves.

Idealer Ort zur Erholung, Wanderungen und Ruhe

Wir hatten drei erholsame Wochen im wirklich romantischen Gartenhaus. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und mit Geschmack ausgewählt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Garten bietet Sonne und Schatten, die Vitamine spendet der Zitronenbaum vor der Tür. Wir konnten schöne Wanderungen direkt starten oder die Buslinien nutzen. Esporles bietet ein spanisches Lebensgefühl mit guten Restaurants. Wir können das Gartenhaus nur empfehlen. Danke an die tolle Gastgeberin.

Ruhe, Erholung und sehr nette Vermieterin

Wir hatten viel Platz, einen sonnigen Tisch im Garten und viel Zeit um uns ungestört zu erholen. Die Vermieterin hat uns wertvolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Der Ort eignet sich hervorragend, um das "wildere" Mallorca zu entdecken.

Wie im Bilderbuch!

Wir waren zu viert in diesem wunderschönen Domizil. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ideal und vollkommen ruhig am Ortsrand in einem liebevoll gestalteten Garten mit reicher Flora, der sich über drei Ebenen erstreckt. Es gibt darin genügend sonnige und schattige Liege- und Sitzplätze, eine große Yogahalle und einen Zitronenbaum mit gigantischen Früchten.

Ausstattung der Zimmer und Qualität der Matratzen lassen keine Wünsche offen, die große Küche mit Esstisch und gemütlicher Sitzecke am Kamin und das Bad enthalten alles, was man braucht.

Man ist in wenigen Minuten in dem hübschen Ort, der wohltuend frei von modernen Bausünden und arm an Touristen ist und nette Cafés und gute Restaurants bietet. Wanderfreunde können direkt am Haus in die Berglandschaft loslaufen, oder mit dem Auto, das hier sehr zu empfehlen ist, relativ schnell die schönen Wanderwege der Tramuntana, traumhafte Buchten und die meisten anderen sehenswerten Inselziele erreichen.

Als besonders freundlich, charmant und hilfsbereit, dabei zurückhaltend haben wir die Gastgeberin erlebt. Sie hat uns auch Ausflüge und lohnende Ziele auf der Insel empfohlen, die man so nicht im Reiseführer findet. Dafür möchten wir ihr hier noch einmal herzlich danken.

Wir haben hier eine ideale Urlaubswoche verbracht und werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

5 Sterne für eine schöne Unterkuft

Wir waren diesmal für eine Woche in Esporlas und von Beginn an positiv von der Ferienwohnung überrascht. Die Lage völlig ruhig und doch nur wenige Minuten vom Dorfzentrum entfernt. Ein wunderschöner alter Baumbestand. Die Wohnung in sehr gutem Zustand und mit allem ausgestattet - Wohnküche - 2 Schlafzimmer - kleinen Arbeitsbereich mit Bibliothek - Bad - Internetempfang drinnen wie draußen - eigener Gartenbereich. Und z. B. doppelverglaste Fenster auf Mallorca!!

Hierher kommen wir gerne wieder.

Nette Unterkunft mit Stromanschluß für e-Auto

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Esporles. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und hat einen sehr schönen Garten. Die Vermieterin ist nett und kümmert sich bei Bedarf. Esporles ist ein angenehmer Ort mit schönem Ortskern und netten Gaststätten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Von der Wohnung aus kann man gut Tages-Ausflüge in das Gebirge machen. Super war auch, dass wir unser gemietetes e-Auto in der Garage aufladen konnten, weil elektrisch fahren macht auf Mallorca doppelt Spaß. :)

Despite the proximity to the capital Palma, we are already in the middle of the Tramuntana mountains, on the way to Granja de Esporles, a popular shopping Museum, in the style of a mansion of the 14th century. Jhrt. This provides large, beautiful trees, interesting activities of craftsmen and small goodies like fig bread. 2 minutes further is the mountainous north-west coast, with rocky beaches and breathtaking views.

The place is a Esporles verschontes tourism mountain village with a vibrant life of its own. Approximately 5 000 large, it is halfway up a hillside with sycamore creek which often leaves rippling crystal clear water in the winter time. Just outside the village are right some of the most fertile gardens and villas of Mallorca.

On Saturdays there is a market, because you get fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese and ham directly from farmers. The baker Can Oliveret makes the best whole wheat bread with leaven that we know in this country. Very close you can buy freshly prepared, Majorcan dishes to enjoy this home in peace. ,

The climate is slightly hilly, so a bit cooler at night than in the rest of the island.

Other Activities: The public swimming pool is brand new, well maintained and not 5 minutes from the house.. It has around a stunning view of the mountains. You could share the village and kayak rentals.
