A hearty Bavarian snack with regional delicacies and freshly chilled beer is waiting for you in the spacious kitchen. So that you can start rested and strengthened in your vacation, we have already done the shopping for the first extensive breakfast - with fresh eggs from our own chickens and homemade jam.

An idyllic garden with a sunny guest terrace, a flower-decked large balcony with fantastic views of the Alps, bicycles (free) and a garden (swing, sandpit, trampoline, tractor, Bobbycar etc.) for the children are also included.

Take advantage next to the Heilklimawanderweg, which leads past our house, and the countless hiking opportunities to relax in the fresh air.

If the weather should not play along, you will find in the apartment two comfortable sofas, a small selection of books, TV with DVD, CD player, WiFi, etc ...

and the cozy corner seat in the kitchen invites to game evenings.

In winter, you can borrow our toboggan and snowshoes (2 pairs) for free and start from the house or cross-country ski on the trail.

Wow!!! Amazing!

We absolutely loved our time here! We went for a ski vacation with two kids. This apartment is better in person than in the pictures. It was so comfortable, easy, relaxing, great location, just all in all perfect! Juliane and family are so helpful and friendly. We skied at Brauneck, Kreuth, and Spitzingsee. We rode tobaggans on the Wallbergbahn (go early!) and even cross-country skied from the house. Perfect weekend! The hardest part was going home. Strongly recommend this apartment.

A little slice of Bavaria

A scrupulously clean, modern, warm and very comfortable apartment in an idylic spot within a hamlet and overlooking a small pond, family of geese, nearby stables, and open countryside. The apartment has a lovely private terrace and a private parking space.

The owners who live downstairs were very kind and friendly and provided numerous foodstuffs to tide us over the first breakfast. They were genuinely welcoming.

The only downside is a definite requirement for a car as the nearest shops or restaurant are around 2 miles away. However this slight inconvenience is more than made up for by the lovely accommodation and position. Good value and recommended.

A wonderful getaway in the Bavarian countryside

We stayed in the apt for 5 lovely days in May 2017. Everything was just delightful, and exactly as described, and the stocked fridge was very welcome on arrival.

We thoroughly recommend this accommodation - clean, quiet, comfortable, and just minutes from the next town, with mountain views and cowfields all around. A perfect getaway! - idf, new york city

This was an amazing find!! Juliane was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. The property is absolutely gorgeous and conveniently located to a lot of a different destinations in Bavaria including an easy train ride to Munich. We couldn't have hoped for a more incredible stay. Wedge Ried is a tranquil and romantic village hamlet and belongs to the municipality Waakirchen. Two organic farms and a small, beautiful natural pond shape this is so typical of Upper Bavaria environment. Especially in the mornings and evenings you can enjoy from here a breathtaking mountain panorama of the Alps with the rampart and Hirschberg, and even the latitude and Wendelstein.

Our house is situated on a healthy climate footpath in a quiet, rural location, yet very conveniently: You need 20 minutes by bike to Tegernsee (5 km) with its attractive and varied leisure activities, 15 minutes drive to the Schliersee and only 10 minutes to Bad Tolz with its picturesque historic district, also known from the popular TV series 'Der Bulle von Tölz'.

For more trips for shopping, sightseeing and cultural events are Rosenheim, Munich, Salzburg, Chiemsee and the royal palaces offer.

Other Activities: walking, kite surfing, rowing and pedal boat, mini golf, bobsleigh, ice hockey

Golf: Golf Magarethenhof 3 km, Golf Valley, 10 km away.

Ski: In winter the nearby cross-country ski Waakirchen-Schaftlach-Sachsenkam can be reached (about 20 km) in 5 minutes. For more beautifully located and top cross-country trails can be found around the lake. The alpine ski Spitzingsee-suttas (20 minutes), Brauneck (25 minutes) and Achenkirch offer (40 minutes) and close Oedberg floodlit all week and the freeride area at the Wallenberg for families as well as for beginners and pros ideal conditions , The longest natural toboggan run in Germany (6.5 miles) lies at the Wallenberg and even artificial snow when needed.
