Torrevieja is situated just 40 minutes drive south of Alicante airport and 25 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambiance and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Our properties are situated in Playa Flamenca which is close to many sandy beaches and coves. We are also in close proximity to a choice of bars, restaurants and top class golf courses. The villa is decorated in modern Mediterranean style, and consists of a spacious lounge/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with filtered drinking water, (no carrying of heavy water bottles) bathroom with bath and overhead shower, private gardens, terraces and a front patio. The Villa is situated less than a minutes walk from the swimming pool. The Villa is ideal for couples wanting to get away from it all and relaxing in the sun. The Villa is South facing which is great for winter sunshine. Sleeps only 2 people.

Restaurants and shops: Within 5 minutes walking distance there are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The huge Playa Flamenca Saturday market is also within 15 minutes walking distance where you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, leather goods, clothes, perfect for buying gifts for your family and friends. There are also several supermarkets within 15 minutes walking distance. Torrevieja, the town centre, is only a 10 minute drive away. It is a great place for shopping, taking a walk along the promenade or just sitting in one of the many outside cafes sampling the local “tapas” and watching the world go by.

Places of interest : Situated just 28 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. Boat trips to the Island of Tabarca and short trips along the coast are available from the Marina. Torrevieja also has large salt lagoons with a wealth of bird life and is also one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambiance and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, fun-fair, bars and restaurants are available in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets. There is a daily Craft market open until late evening down by the Marina. The Aquopolis aqua park is a great day out for the whole family and is open from June - September. There is something for everyone and and for all ages.

We have just spent a lovely 10 days at Jackie & Steves Property in Flamingo Hills 1.

There is plenty of open space with the patio at the front (where we used to have breakfast), and a court yard at the back.

There is also the large roof terrace, with the important bit for me, the internal stairs to the roof. This saves having to keep locking and unlocking the front door as you would with external stairs every time you go up and down.

The property has everything you need to make for a pleasant holiday, although a bonus would be a couple of beach chairs for use on the beach.

The propery is in the perfect location for bars, resturants and supermarkets.

We would certaintly stay again and reccomend to friends.

Comfortable property

Very nice, comfortable property, courtyard and sun terrace is a bonus. It would have been a little more comfortable if the air-con had been working (we did know beforehand that it was not), but then going to Spain in August was going to be hot anyway. Lovely swimming pool. Would definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

Almost perfect property.

Lovely property in an ideal location, but would recommend staying in the cooler months as the lack of air conditioning means it's very difficult to sleep in the hot summer months, when there's no breeze to cool the bedrooms in the evening. Would gladly have paid extra to use air conditioning in the bedroom as this would have made our stay perfect.

Lots of outside space, but used front terrace mostly as this area has an awning so offers some shade from the sun, lovely to sit out & eat meals there.

Roof terrace is a sun trap all day if you're a sun god/goddess and two loungers are provided.

We only used the pool once, but it was very well kept with lovely planting & grassy areas to sit & chill out.

Fantastic home from home with everything we needed

We were very impressed with the villa. Spacious and well equipt just perfect for a family holiday. Great location, within walking distance to bars/shops/supermarkets/market/beach and the massive new shopping centre! Lovely enclosed pool with a shallow part for children, which we pretty much had to ourselves!! Friendly community setting. Short taxi into torrevieja where there is a fantastic night market, marina and an abundance of great restuarants and shops.

Definitely would recommend to friends and family and will certainly be visiting again soon! :-)

Lovely Property

44 Flamingo Hills is a lovely property in a very good location close to shopping centres, bars and restaurants. We received good directions and arrived without any hiccups. John & Dawn who were looking after the property were very helpful. The property was clean and well presented. We will look to rent this property again as it is well equipped and very homely.We will certainly recommend this property to others.

Nous avons passons un agreable sejour dans cette villa tres bien equipée il y a tous ce dont vous avez besoin ! Beaucoup de choses a faire a proximité et dans les ville a proximité. A cote dans grand centre commercial avce tous ce qu'il faut. Piscine peu frequenté et tres agreable . Vraiment ideal pour des vacances en famille. Beaucoup de divertissement pour les enfants dans les alentours. Je recommande sans hesiter. Proprietaires tres gentils et la personne qui nous a remis les clés egalement.

Muy completa

La casa es una maravilla, dispone de muchos espacios donde pasar el tiempo al aire libre (un patio interior y otro exterior, y la maravillosa terraza de arriba).

La cocina está super equipada con todos los electrodomésticos y enseres que puedas necesitar. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado a nuestra entreada en la casa.

Lo más es la terraza de arriba con Barbacoa donde puedes cenar todas las noches viendo las estrellas. Ademas la zona es muy tranquila y no se oyen apenas ruidos.

Aunque para ir a la playa hay que coger el cocher (unos 5 o 10 minutos), dispone de una piscina muy cuca que hará las delicias de los niños y esta abierta desde las 9am hasta que anochece.

La urbanización esta muy cerca de todo, en la zona hay supermercados de todas las marcas conocidas (mercadona, eroski, carrefour, lidl, etc.. además de muchos bazares chinos) y zonas recreativas con Kart y atracciones para los más pequeños, a parte de muchos restuarantes para todos los gustos (chinos, italianos, tailandes, indu, ingleses, españoles, etc....)

Las personas de contacto que te atienden a la llegada y durante la estancia son muy amables y dispuestas a ayudarte en todo momento, pero solo hablan ingles.

For the golf fanatics Torrevieja boasts some of the finest courses on the Costa Blanca. These include Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas all of which are a few minutes drive away from Playa Flamenca. An hours drive south brings you to the sports complex of La Manga where there are three Golf courses and one of Europe's finest tennis centres. For families as well as numerous beaches there is Karting, an Aquapark, ten-pin bowling and a funfair in Torrevieja approx 10 minutes away.
