Out of many stays in savannah I have to admit the location, cleanliness, quaint environment and overall wonderful climate at our apartment was amazing. The location afforded us the luxury of parking our car and being able to walk anywhere we wanted. We were close to all the shops restaurants squares and attractions savannah has to offer as well as feeling nestled away from it all. I can't say enough good things about the Wright Square apartment and my husband and I plan to utilize luxury living and this same location on Jones street at our next visit. Wonderful is not a strong enough descriptive word to say what our stay was. Thanks again for everything!
We stayed in the Wright Square Suite for four nights. The location is perfect - a few steps away from the park, a short walk from all restaurants and spots to visit, very quiet and one of the cutest streets in Savannah. The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. I saw reviews where people complained about the size of the bathroom - it's true that the bathroom is a little small but it does the job for a short stay and all other good things considered it was no big deal for us. In summary - highly recommended!
We were very kindly upgraded to this suite due to some maintenance issues on the smaller unit. The location is beautiful on Jones Street, everything within walking distance, the kitchen was well equipped, large bathroom, comfortable bed, super clean and beautiful courtyard. I would make a strong recommendation of having noise and light cancelling curtains installed in the bedroom - 3 windows in a small room without curtains is harsh. We live in the heart of a city ourselves and this room took us by surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if some curtains were put up! :-)
The Wright Street Square was a beautiful quaint apartment good for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed but since we were so close to so many good restaurants we didn't use it much. The outdoor porch was perfect for having morning coffee or reading. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I think it was smaller than described and there was no sitting room. There was a couch area in the bedroom but not really a place for more than 2 people to sit at a time. Our adult children living in Savannah came over for a drink and it was just too small. The outdoor area was beautiful but we didn't use it - access to it is a bit difficult. The location was excellent everything in the Historic area was within walking distance and Ubers were great for everything else.
The Wright Square Suite is in a great location for walking to all the sites in Savannah (even Mrs. Wilkes, the restaurant, is right next door). But I have to say we were a bit disappointed with the suite. The bathroom is very tiny. There is a small pedestal sink with absolutely no place to put anything. We ended up putting all our toiletries on the fireplace mantle which was annoying. When you sit on the toilet, your knees hit the shower and the shower is also very small. The kitchen, which we never used, is four times the size of the bathroom! We also had no place to put our luggage so we ended up putting our luggage on the kitchen counters. (So I guess the kitchen came in handy after all.) The suite is in one of the beautiful, old homes on Jones Street which is a beautiful street. Also, the very long line to eat at Mrs. Wilkes starts forming around 9 am for their opening at 11 am. You can easily be first in line!
We had a wonderful stay in Savannah in this historic property! The location was superb for exploring the city on foot, close to all of the major landmarks, right next to Mrs. Wilkes. While the suite is fairly small, it had everything we need to enjoy our short stay. The company was also responsive and gracious with all of our requests. We certainly would stay again!
