The Santa Rosa area.............. truly a gem! Wonderful shopping, a variety of restaurants and endless entertainment (including outdoor summer concerts at Gulf Place) is available for the entire family within walking distance. Goatfeathers Seafood Market is only 2 minutes away from your front door. Bring back deliciously fresh seafood and grill on the back porch or have it steamed right at the market! Santa Rosa Beach, located between Sandestin and Seaside, is a short ten minute drive to the largest factory store mall in the country (Silver Sands Outlet). Fun restaurants, Rave Motion Pictures, and great shops at newly opened Destin-Commons is just a few miles farther west. Golf on the beautiful 18 hole Santa Rose Golf Club. Vacationers can utilize these popular areas for entertainment and at the same time enjoy the benefits of a less-crowded beach.

The village.............. Old Florida Village is a brand-new, quaint village of about 70 cottages on a quiet, winding lane. The neighborhood is situated on the North side of beautiful Scenic 30-A; located about 500 yards from the beach (a pleasant stroll). 'Another Happy Day' is ideally situated directly across from the second community pool; perfect for families that need to have close supervision with their children. Great bike/walking paths extend for miles. Convenient bike rentals are available in the area.

The cottage.............. this well-kept, tastefully decorated three bedroom, two bath, single-story cottage comfortably sleeps eight. The open kitchen/dining/family room lends itself to 'family time'. Ten foot ceilings, wide moldings, stainless appliances, and ceramic flooring complete the feel of quality. The master bedroom has king-size luxury bedding with ample storage for your belongings. This room includes a walk-in closet and a private bath with jetted tub. The rear bedroom is furnished with a full bed, twin bunk and twin trundle. It is perfect for playful children or could sleep an entire family! The middle bedroom is comfortable with queen bedding.

All bedrooms are furnished with mounted TV/DVD sets. Both porches

(pool view front and private rear with grill) are complete with

Adirondack seating for your favorite cool drink or A relaxing cup of

coffee. Parking for two vehicles is available on brick paver pad in

front of cottage. Additional cars may be parked across the way (pool

area)if available spots are open, otherwise there are designated parking areas in the neighborhood. Wireless internet is also there for those who have to check-in at work.

Tripp and I have been coming to this area of Santa Rosa Beach since before we married 25 years ago! My parents have owned a cabin on the bay since I was a little girl so I grew up on these beautiful beaches! When the opportunity developed for us to buy our own place, we were thrilled! It is our pleasure to offer our cottage as 'home' to vacationing families. We take good care of our property and we are pleased when our guests are pleased!

Why Matthew Lansing chose Santa Rosa Beach

We selected 'Old Florida Village' because of its wonderful location and appeal to families! It is close to everything but not commercial or congested like the more urban areas. Traffic on 30-A is slow and easy! Shh! It's our best kept secret and we don't want it to change!!

What makes this cottage unique

Comments we hear over and over again....'your cottage was so clean....the children loved the bunk beds....we loved being so close to the pool....great artwork!'

We enjoy the simplicity of just being there. Tripp and I tried to think of everything needed so you could feel 'right at home.'

We had a wonderful time over spring break at Another Happy Day. Cute, clean, cottage in a very pretty subdivision. About a half mile walk to the absolutely gorgeous white sand beaches. Also walking distance the to Gulfplace, where you will find restaurants, bars, shops etc. Everything anout our vacation was prefect, we can't wait to come back!

Great location, wonderful accommodations!

We loved this cottage! Plenty of space, extremely clean and bright, and a great location just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed everything about our stay: pool is just across from the house so kids could go back and forth easily, front porch is a great spot and the 'village' of houses is friendly and neat, house has everything you need including very comfortable beds. Plenty of local, good food nearby and a very short drive to Seaside and other tourist spots. We especially loved the Sunrise coffee, La Playa taco place, and Pecan Jacks ice cream, all just 1/4 mile down 30A. Great week!

Always happy at Another Happy Day

We loved our stay here. The house is adorable, well decorated, clean and has everything you need for your stay. It’s close to many restaurants and shopping and is directly across from one of the neighborhood pools which is so convenient. Great customer service as I’d had a question here and there and he was very quick to respond. I was so impressed that I went ahead and booked it for next year. I can’t wait to go back!

Great location! Close to beach access and close to a variety of areas and things to do!!

We had a great stay at Another Happy Day! We were very impressed with the house! Very clean and neat! We loved how close it was to beach access, shops, grocery store and restaurants!! It was our first time in the 30-A area and we loved that we got to experience Grayton, Blue Mountain, Santa Rosa as well as Destin! Our son loved the bunk beds!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!!

Great Stay!

I went for my 30th birthday weekend with 6 of my close girlfriends and the cottage was wonderful! It was just the right size as to keep that small, cozy vibe, yet we didn't feel on top of each other at all! The owner, Matthew, was very friendly and accommodating when I had a quick question/concern about the fridge. He immediately came to look at the issue and it was resolved in no time. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly sweet cottage!

My family and I stayed a few days in this darling cottage and fell in love with it. It was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. It was well stocked and had everything we needed to make our stay fabulous! The beds and linens were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and the pool was clean and not at all crowded. The check-in/out process was easy and the owner responded quickly to all of our questions. We hope to stay again soon!

A $250 refundable security deposit along with 25% of the cost of the stay is due at time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to date of occupancy. If balance is not paid by occupancy date the amount paid previously, will be forfeited.
