The North End feels like home from the moment you set foot on Hanover street with its bustling restaurants; such as Mikes Pastry, the line in front of Giacomo's restaurant. You cannot help but fall in love with this warm and friendly Italian neighborhood where everyone gives you suggestions of where to go and dine before you even asked. Everyone falls in love with this safe and charming neighberhood
Wonderful vibrant and uniquely joyful neighborhood centrally located accessible to many historical sights such as Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail and Faneuil Hall. An experience that should not be missed.
Thank you so much for the great accommodations - my daughter and I felt so at home in Ansel's Apartment! I'd also like to take this opportunity to let you know how impressed we were with Gail. She arranged for us to be able to check in early, and called a couple of times to see how things were.
Although our trip was a bit of a whirlwind, it was nice to have a cozy, warm "home" to return to each evening.
Again, many thanks to you and your staff. We have already recommended you to several people, and we will undoubtedly stay with you again!
The location was great, as we expected, having stayed in Salem Street in 2015. 2 weeks before we were due to arrive we were told of building works across the street which may affect our stay. In fact, it turned out to be right next door. There was no mention of this when we booked back in March. Next door was an empty space with a JCB on it. This started up at just gone 8am! Noisy to say the least. I contacted Zoe to complain that we should have been advised of this previously as such large building works should have been arranged long before the 2 week notice and we could have arranged alternative accommodation, but, obviously, by then it was too late. Zoe said they would arrange a refund as we'd agreed, which was news to me as we hadn't agreed anything. When I queried this they said they would pass this on to the owner. To date I haven't had any replies.
As regards the apartment, it is in a good location and is sufficient for 3, 2 adults and a child or 2 small children. The air con is good but there are steep steps up to the apartment on the 3rd floor. There was a Fishermans Feast going on all the time we were there from 17 to 21 August and there were foods and entertainment on offer, so this is a good time to visit. If you get time and have seen all the sights, go down to the Mirabella outdoor swimming pool next to the Coastguard Station and overlooking the Charles river for a nice refreshing dip.
Really a nice apartment to stay and one of the most beautifull part of Boston to visit. A bit vertical the stair for reach the second floor but the apartment was clean and there was everything we need.
A shame for the noise of the neighbors downstairs who partied most nights and left garbage on the landing for two days.
Proper owner if not for failing to inform in advance the start of the renovation work on the floor below us which led to over wings jackhammer seven thirty in the morning, also a quantity of dust in our apartment that knowing this, maybe we would had change our mind on staying there.
Great location. Very comfortable and clean. Perfect walking distance to all the sites and shopping. Restaurants and bars everywhere. Very easy check-in and out. We had no problems. It was a small challenge getting our luggage up to the second floor, but we managed to make it fun. Would definitely recommend Zoe Rentals to anyone coming to Boston. Thank you for the great accommodations.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. It was a great apartment and very comfortable. It was clean and bigger then we anticipated with a full kitchen . The bedrooms , although small had very comfortable beds and the air condition unit in the living room was powerful enough to cool the space in just a few minutes.
The location was perfect with a 2 minute walk down to the water. As well as a two minute walk to Hanover street which is bustling with restaurants , and a block from the Paul Revere house which is located along the freedom trail . Also easy access to subways and very close walk to Quincy market and aquarium area which has a nice park and green space , a nice area in the mornings to grab a cup of coffee and relax.
Note that it is a 3 story walk up , but if you don't mind the stairs then most definetly worth it! All in all we really had no complaints.
My husband and I stayed at the studio rental through Zoe Properties over Memorial Day. We absolutely loved the location, it was perfect for what we were looking for! We both love food and wanted to spend time in the North End, it was right in the middle of it. Also was a very easy walk to the Waterfront, Faneuil Hall, and all of the historic sites. Great price for the value, I would absolutely stay there again!
One of the best parts of our 6-night stay in Boston was this darling little apartment on Hanover street. My son who lives in Boston said, "Mom, how did you find such a great place on the most exciting street in Boston?" My elderly parents and I stayed here, and while the small couch in the living room was not the largest for sleeping - I was completely comfortable, and am a 5' 3" 56 year old woman; be fore-warned there are many stairs - but my parents did just fine. There was GREAT closet space in the upstairs bedroom. The bathroom was extremely clean. Absolutely loved the charming kitchen. Made our coffee every morning and I went out early and got fresh hot pastries from Modern Pastry down the street for breakfast. (You will not believe the lines outside this place and Mike's Pastry across the street at 10-11PM each night - and you will be patting yourself on the back that you don't have to stand in them because you live here and can always come back.) It was wonderful to be able to look out the front door and down the street to choose whatever Italian restaurant we wanted for the evening. And in the morning a short walk led to the harbor. With fresh hot coffee in hand, I enjoyed beautiful sunrises each morning. AND this apartment is a very short walk to the ferry where you can catch a $3 harbor ride over to the USS Constitution. It is a busy street and the building holds full-time tenants who can be quite rowdy on weekend nights - but that only led to a sense of immersing ourselves in the excitement of the city. And all the neighbors were so kind, including the firemen at the station across the street. PLUS, it is not a very far walk up to Quincy Market and Boston Common. Check-in was amazingly simple, and although I was apprehensive about renting in this manner, Dror followed through on every single detail. I almost hate to write such a great review, because I sure want "my little apartment" available for my next trip to Boston! Hope everyone will treat the property with respect so the cost can stay as reasonable as possible. You're just gonna love it!
All my short term apartments are located close to the Freedom Trail, a few minutes walk to the famous Fanuil Hall and Quincy Market as well the Aquarium and many historical sites. I have 9 short term furnished apartments within a two block radius in the heart of little Italy and the price listed is the base price.
