Enjoy your holidays in leo's ecoapartment with a clear conscience without having to sacrifice comfort.

This elegant eco friendly 85 m2 apartment can comfortably sleep up to eight people and is located on the 2nd floor (without a lift) of a residential building.

The modern lounge has a comfortable double sofa bed and two arm chairs for watching the flat-screen television with cable channels, enjoying a film on DVD or listening to music. There is also unlimited WIFI internet connection available.

The large living room table is a great spot to enjoy meal times with friends or family. The open-plan American-style kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dish washer and all necessary utensils to prepare any kind of dish.

The apartment also has three separate bedrooms – two with a magnificent double bed and the third with two singles.

There is also a beautiful bathroom with natural light and a wonderful bath and shower to guarantee some real relaxation and well-being.

Alongside the apartment there are various supermarkets and shops to satisfy all guests' needs during their stay including a large variety of restaurants and bars. Visitors can walk to most of the city's fascinating places of tourist interest including the Belvedere Palace and its beautiful gardens.

Naturally there are also different public transport options available including the line D tram line that leaves from the Schloss Belvedere stop, only a few minutes' walk from the apartment and leading directly to the city centre. Another possibility is to catch U1 metro line (U-Bahn) that connects directly with Karlsplatz, Stephansplatz, and the famous Prater theme park.

You find the measures that have been implemented so far here:

• All our apartments receive their electricity from 100% renewable energy

• We are of the opinion that one should live with and not off the environment. Therefore, we donate 3% of our profits to organizations that are active in social and environmental areas. A new organization is elected every year.

• This apartment uses only LED lights and does without inefficient incandescent bulbs or energy saving light bulbs containing mercury

• We want to protect the global environment but we do not want our guests to have to sacrifice comfort. A permanent adaptation to the latest technology is just as inefficient (because still functional devices would need to be scrapped) as expensive. So we renew old or broken equipment by energy-efficient electronics step by step.

• We try as often as possible to refrain from printed documents. If it cannot be avoided we use exclusively recycled paper for printed documents

The property was well equipt with everything you would need for self-catering accommodation.

The property was well situated to explore Vienna. The fact that it was on the 2nd floor with no lift could be a problem for some people.

The furnishings were nice but the accommodation could do with a bit of extra cleaning (under the beds) and a little extra decorating (skirting hanging off or in some places none at all). overall the property was comfortable and served my families needs.

Happy quiet Easter weekend retreat!

This was a lovely place and easy to access the public transportation from here. There is a beautiful church at the end of the block and a few good restaurants in the area. We had no problems parking our large car on the street in front. The hostess greeted us with all the information that we needed for the apartment and then kept in contact with us the whole time since we had a hiccup with the wifi. She even sent us directions to a few places on Easter Sunday! Lovely person. We hope to visit again.

Einfach eine tolle Zeit

Lieber Leo, es war unser erster Trip nach Wien und ich denke es war nicht unser letzter - zumindest für mich! Eine geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit einem tollen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und charmanten kleinen Eigenheiten.

Wunderbar die Nähe zum Stadtzentrum, dass man bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann und super auch die Anbindung mit den öfffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder den Hopp on hopp off-Bussen. Wir haben ganz viel gesehen, obwohl man wohl in Wien immer noch viel mehr sehen kann, wir haben uns in Deiner Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und selbst bei über 30 Grad Celsius war es nicht zu heiß in der Wohnung. Mein Urteil: Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man kein Luxusappartement bezahlen möchte.

Good location

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights. It has a good location, close to Belvedere Palace, Karleskirche and restaurants and grocery stores. We found the walk to the central area to be quite manageable, although it could be a problem for those unable to walk distances. The apartment is well furnished and appointed. Some of the renovation work requires completion (e.g., baseboards) and the laminate floor squeaks terribly. The apartment was clean, although a thorough cleaning of walls and under beds, etc , would be a good thing. There is no parking provided and we could not find availability of the recommended on-street parking within a reasonable distance. We utilized a near-by parking garage (30 euros per day).

You will find many tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity e.g. Belveder Castle, The Opera House, Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, Karlsplatz, Naschmarkt, Ringstrasse, Hundertwasserhaus and many more.

The city center is both in walking distance and easily reached by public transport in about 10 minutes.

You will find the following within 3-5 minutes walk:

The old city of Vienna and the surrounding districts (1-9, 20) are pay and display short stay parking zones on weekdays between 9.00 - 22.00. When you park here you need a valid parking permit behind your windscreen. You can leave your car outside the zone in the 10th district (approx. 5 min) free of charge.
