Why Dave and Chris Warburton chose Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans
Le Mouli d'en Boix is great for families, groups of friends, Spring birdwatchers and Autumn walkers, our paradise is hidden in the hills of the Pyrenees creating a spectacular and peaceful holiday venue. Our guests have exclusive hiring, one family at a time and no strangers to share with. The pool is private and set by a beautiful stream, perfect for adventurous children. Surrounded by 25 acres of woodland and many beautiful walks, our 13 years’ experience and 5* ratings make Le Mouli the place to spend your holiday.
What makes this House unique
If you are looking for a relaxing, restful holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of a working year then Le Mouli is the place for you. If you have children Le Mouli is a giant playground with space to make dens in the woods, explore the stream and swim in the pool. Our dogs are always ready for a game and love having children to throw their ball or stick for them. If you are a bird watcher, Le Mouli abounds with our feathered friends. One of our guests recorded 33 different species of birds, either seen or heard, during her Spring time holiday here.

A great choice
We (a retired couple) stayed at Le Mouli for the first three weeks in June.
The welcome from the owners, Chris and Dave, was exceptionally warm and throughout our holiday there advice and information added to our enjoyment.
The property is charming and spacious with extensive grounds to explore. The location is superb for the enjoyment of mountain scenery, peace and quiet, walking along quiet paths and through beautiful woodland, followed by a dip in the private pool.
Although the property is quite secluded, there are the usual village amenities a short drive away.
If we were to visit this region of France again, we would certainly consider re-booking.
Thank you Claire and Stuart for a wonderful review. We are always happy when our guests enjoy this beautiful little world we have found here. We do hope to see you again in the not too distant future.
The Vallespir Valley is one of the most beautiful unspoilt areas in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Mount Canigou, snow covered from November to June, dominates your drive up the valley following the River Tech as it meanders through the delightful villages of Ceret, Amelie les Bains and Arles sur Tech. The Valley narrows and climbs and the scenery becomes more dramatic as you near St. Laurent de Cerdans.
Amelie les Bains is famous for it's hot healing springs; Ceret for being home to Picasso and of course, it's wonderful Saturday market. Arles sur Tech is dominated by a Medieval Abbey and Pratts de Mollo by Fort Lagarde, both of which hold entertaining festivals throughout the summer. If you should want to tear yourself away from the tranquillity of Le Mouli, it's possible to cross the boarder and sample the Spanish restaurants all within easy driving reach. During the summer months the local villages are alive with traditional festivals, always welcoming visitors.
