Finca La Puerta is a private family plot with a great location above the fishing village of Alcalá. It is surrounded by banana plantations on the island’s west side, set at a height of 130 m and features luxurious, high standard facilities.
It spans 10,500m2 with a length of 200 m and a width of 50 m. It is set on a hillside with terraces giving clear views in all directions.

It offers wireless Internet, a heated pool, our own well, a bar with beer barrel, a tap with still or sparkling water, a wine cellar, a barbecue, etc.
The ecological garden offers vineyards, plantains, mangos, papayas, passion fruit, pineapple, figs, and many more things besides.

We are always looking to improve upon our own standards and are committed replacing and investing in each of our installations where needs be.
The maintenance costs of our properties
Alcalá - (10,500m2),
and San Juan (6000m2),
is quite high (with only 3 concierges) and we balance this with using the income from our rental flat.
(A hotel is able to spread costs between many rooms)
For years we have kept our prices the same, they have even decreased in places (Finca San Juan), despite our costs increasing for taxes, gas, water, electricity, human resources, etc.
It may actually be necessary to increase our rates, although sadly due to our competition and the numerous offers for holiday rentals in Tenerife, this is not currently feasible.
Unfortunatately, there is a false impression of what one can earn when renting a property.
If we allowed for discounts, we would only lower our standard.
We do not have seasonal rates; even in high season (from October to April), we keep our rate the same.
We only add a 15% charge over the New Year period (20/12 until 6/01).
Weather guarantee: For every rainy day (more than 6 daylight hours with rain), we will add a free day to your next reservation.
We ask that you fill out you reservation “For the rainy day DD.MM.YYYY”

Finca La Puerta de Alcalá is a private property with a great location above the fishing village of Alcalá in the Canary Islands. It is surrounded by banana plantations on the west side of the island and set at a height of 130 m with high standard, luxury facilities.
The holiday complex is 1 km away from the village and the seafront.
The property is enclosed by a wall.
The wall does not obstruct the view as the holiday complex is on a hill looking out at the sea.
All the buildings have views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
We have no immediate neighbours, only trees and banana plantations.
