Alfonso and Winny are very nice and helpfull.
A good organisation
Villa Elaia is in a very beautiful part of Italy. The apartment was very well appointed with every facility you could require and has a very private balcony from which we loved watching the sun set over the sea. A beautiful swimming pool has also just been installed in the garden. The owner and staff were very helpful during our stay, suggesting good restaurants and providing information about places to visit.Santa Maria has many gorgeous beaches and several good restaurants and its location makes it easy to explore the Cilento region as well as visit the Amalfi Coast and the many historical sites such as Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum. The perfect combination for relaxing and sightseeing!
We had a perfect stay at the studio of Villa Elaia. Although it's part of the villa we enjoyed more than enough privacy. Clean, well maintained and a beautiful location. The owner was there to help us solve a small technical issue, which was done quickly. The apartment is at walking distance of the village with everything you need and the great beach. We didn't need a car when we stayed there. All in all we would definitely recommend it.
SANTA MARIA DI CASTELLABATE, colourful seafaring village, is a famous international tourist destination thanks to the marvellous coast and its ability to conserve intact in the time the ancient traditions of the Cilento. SANTA MARIA DI CASTELLABATE is the ideal starting point to discover the numerous attractions of the Cilento National park and the wonderful Amlfitana coast. The National Park of Cilento stretches from the Tyrrhenian coast to the foot of the Apennines in Campania and Basilicata, and it includes the peaks of the Alburni Mountains, of the Cervati and of the Gelbison and the coastal buttresses of Mount Bulgheria and Mount Stella. The extraordinary naturalist complexity of the heterogeneous territory goes hand in hand with the mythical and mysterious character of a land rich in history and culture: from the call of nymph Leucosia to the beaches where Palinuro left Aeneas, from the ruins of the Greek colonies of Elea and Paestum to the wonderful Certosa of Padula.
