You will enjoy the tranquility of this unique and upscale residence (a quality of life signed MGM). “Le Domaine des Pins Bleus” is an elegant and refined residence, designed along the lines of traditional Mediterranean country houses (colors chosen for the facades, roofing tiles). It consists in two luxury buildings featuring 24 apartments each and 7 semi-detached houses. The residence is all secured. The swimming pool area will allow you to have a relaxing time and is fully landscaped. It is fully secured and up to the latest European standards in terms of kids safety. Indoor private parking space (locked). Extremely quiet and still close to everything you need.

A brilliant location! You can walk to the centre of Sainte-Maxime in approximately 20 minutes with pavements all the way. The centre is very lively with plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and even a casino. It has a lovely market where you can stock up on delicious local produce to barbeque on the terrace and, of course, you have the beach and marina areas.
A definite bonus is the fact that for 12 euros you can get a return ferry to St. Tropez which takes 15 minutes thereby avoiding the heavy holiday traffic in high season.
We were a party of 5 adults and found the accommodation very spacious and well equipped. The setting is very tranquil, the pool is spotlessly maintained with plenty of loungers and a nice shady poolhouse area.
This is an ideal location for those wanting peace and quiet with the options of great sightseeing, nightlife, dining out,people watching, shopping and beaches.
We had a relaxing and sunny two weeks holiday in st maxime on Jun/2014.
Property – As advertised and mentioned by others the apartment is spacious and equipped with all the amenities one would need (except patio grill). No noise caused by neighbors or from outside area. Pool area is located appr 150m from the apartment and is also safeguarded as well as very clean and well maintained. If pool plays an important role for you daily activities you could check the maintenance breaks,beforehand e.g. during our two weeks stay the pool was closed for two consecutive days during the second week (not an issue for us as there are lot of other activities also to do ; )
What to do - visited in couple of rose vineyards, and nearby villages and towns of which Grimaud was maybe the most unforgettable. Excursions arranged by Bateuaxverts were also nice even though we were not fully able to understand the sightseeing announcement (only in French) but enjoyed the sunny weather and cruising on the sea. Also the roadside traffic bit surprised us (both A8 and coastal roads) and you just need to know when/where it is possible to drive without constant traffic jams.
We had a wonderful holiday at "Des Pins Bleus". We found the villa very clean through-out and all the things we needed were there. We found eating out quite expensive so we cooked and ate on the patio area which was lovely. The swimming pool was extremely well looked after and even at busier times a sun-lounger was always available. We felt very safe and secure at all times and as a key was needed to enter and exit the pool area felt it was a very safe place for children even though ours were older.
The walk to the town centre was do-able but on a hot day a fair walk there and back, it was easier to walk down in the evening when it was cooler. The walk at the beginning of the holiday was ok but towards the end of the holiday got a bit tiring.
The only thing that spoilt our holiday was the traffic, the coastal road was very busy and travelling by car anywhere meant sitting in queues that didn't seem to move very quickly. The traffic situation did put us off of travelling anywhere in the car.
Overall a lovely area and a lovely villa and pool, but if we were to come back to this area we would not come back in peak holiday season.
In June 2011 we spent 2 wonderful weeks with our children (11 to 18 years old) at the apartment and we strongly recommend it to other families with young children or with teenies. The apartment is well-maintained, clean and spacious and has all the facilities you need for a comfortable and relaxed holiday. The balcony faces a very nice and quiet pine-wood. We enjoyed the pool (extremely clean) and the short ride to the nice beach "La Nartelle" (max. 15 min. by car). To the centre of St. Maxime it is only a 20 minutes walk - you find there many shops, restaurants and cafés. St. Maxime is a good starting point for several trips, either along the coast (Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez) or to the lovely villages among the hills (Grimaud, La Garde-Freinet, Borme-les-Mimosas). By the way, to go to St. Tropez you can take the ferry-boat or you can go by bus, which is really a cheap alternative.
We were in France in the beginning of March, temperature wise it is not the greatest but the hospitality on the Cote d'azur and the friendlyness of the people without the hordes of tourists is tremendous. The appartment is one of the nicest weve rented over the years, everything you could want is provided by the owner and his rep Sandrine was very friendly and efficient. If it wasnt for them our vacation would have been ordinary.
The location is close to all the major supermarkets and big stores, the shore is within walking distance but quite a way.the closeness of St-Tropez, Cannes, Fréjus, Monaco, Nice and Menton is made easier by the train in Fréjus, you dont have to fight trafic all the time.
The cleanliness and space of the appartment is what makes it stand out, you have three bedrooms, a whole family can stay here easily.
I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be in a complex peacefull and secure complex with all the amenities. If we come back to the Cote d'azur, this is the place were we will stay.
This was the absolute perfect holiday location. The beautiful tranquil setting and tastefully decorated apartment was everything the owner had described. The pool area was spotless and everyone was extremely friendly. Having two children we particularly liked the security around the apartments and pool - we felt extremely safe.
We didn't find the town overly busy and the restaurants, plenty to choose from, very reasonably priced. Our children had an absolute ball, none of us wanted to come home, we would definitely go again.
Ideally situated in Sainte Maxime, amongst hilly surroundings on the Gulf of Saint Tropez. It is at an easy 15 minute walk to town centre, marina and beaches (over 6 km of fine sandy beaches). A real haven of peace for restful holidays, a relaxing break on the Côte d’Azur at any time of the year.
