Large lakefront villa near Rome, Private Pool (salt, no chlorine) stunning views

Bedrooms 4
Space 3,013 sq. ft.
Property type villa

About the property

Charming interiors, huge outdoor, private pool with salt system (NO CHLORINE) for more info and photos.

Unequalled location and views, in the heart of the luxuriant Roman countryside, 30 min. from downtown Rome, 20 min. from the Mediterranean beaches, 20 min. from Italian Fashion Outlet. And just 5 min. from the lake beaches and "Terre dei Consoli" golf course.

Immersed in 10 000 sq. meters park with its private salty pool (NO CHLORINE), this freestanding villa is a beautiful example of a traditional Italian Countryside Home.

It stands at the end of the long tree-lined drive that crosses the property.

Its stunning architectural style makes it one of a kind: wooden-beam ceiling 6 mt high, large glass windows facing the lake, hand made mosaic floor, artistic tiles and caring decoration touches.

The loft-style living area features sitting for 10 and dining for 12, and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen.

The house can accommodate up to 12 guests, with 4 regular bedrooms (two featuring ensuite bathroom) and one studio-like room that sleeps 4. Should you be a larger group, there is also a double sofa-bed.

Children are welcome, and baby bed and high chair are available at no extra cost.

The mature garden comprises a private orchard, multicolored flowers, tall sahdy trees, large lawns and a delightful Swimming Pool.

How to spend your day? Hang out in lively Trevignano village, with its numerous lake beaches, a variety of restaurants and pubs and the typical flea and antiques market on weekends.

Take your kids for a ride on the inflatable “islands” on the lake. Get lost in the tight alleys of the old town. Be charmed by the Renaissance atmosphere at Odescalchi Castle.

Go crazy in the shopping district in Rome and stand speechless in front of the architectural beauty of the Eternal City.

…or just sip a soda while lazily soaking in your pool!

A drink on the deck at one of the lakeside pubs, in front of an amazing sunset and some live music in the background, is the perfect way to end the day.

Or what about a pizza in a palm tree garden restaurant?

Or maybe you prefer the privacy of your patio for your favorite dinner, under a bright starry sky as only the countryside can offer.

The villa is perfect for family and friends gathering, week-long vacations, weekend getaways, yoga group retreats, house-hunting visits, and temporary lodging for relocated executives.

Rome province offers to visitors the overwhelming charm of its artistic treasures and monuments, the unspoilt nature in its countryside and its lovely long white sandy beaches by the Mediterranean sea.

In addition to the unmissable Eternal City, in the surroundings there are plenty of lively villages, well known for their Cuisine and the Winery Tours, as well as for the numerous entertainment events such as Live Music Festivals, special tasting of traditional products, fireworks and shows held in the historical buildings.

Besides its charming location by the lake, Trevignano faces south, sunny all day.

Here you can find a typical Antiques Market during day time, and a beautiful lake-side Promenade with plenty of restaurants, wine bars and cafés where the Night Life takes place.

This is a very privileged position, in a short distance from Rome and the seaside, in the middle of the Etruscan region and its beautiful archaeological sites, at the crossroads between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria and their artistic treasures.

North of Trevignano is an area well known for its Thermal Resorts, reachable in 30-40 min. drive.

Plus, there are three lovely Golf Clubs in the surroundings of the villa: first one is Terre dei Consoli (at 3 min. drive); second one is located near the medieval hilltop village of Sutri (within 10 min. drive), and the third is at L'Olgiata (within 20 min. drive).

Great Family Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week in this lovely villa. The location is perfect for a family holiday - the lake is a pleasure, the towns are scenic and great for wandering around, shopping for essentials or just getting a pizza and ice-cream, and day trips to Rome and additional places of interest.

The house was comfortable for our family group of 15, with pool and large outdoors dining area.

Halla was helpful with information, instructions and requests we had.

The week was extremely hot, additional ACs (only one installed in one upstairs bedroom) would have been nice, bit we managed ok. And from time to time there was an unpleasant sewage smell from the downstairs wcs. These were minor inconveniences compared with the overall experience.

Owner's Response: Thank you Shely for your kind words, and I am very happy you enjoyed your holiday. As you wrote, the days of your stay were extraordinarily hot, the hottest of the last 50 years! This is the reason for the minor inconveniences you encountered, and we took action to prevent them from happening again. It was a pleasure counting you and your family group among our Guests, and I would love to host you again sometimes in the future.

Elegant property

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful place, one of those luxury italian properties that you see on magazines.

Elegant entrance to the large garden, with lots of trees and some antique jars, and at the end of the driveway a unique view on the lake.

The villa is architecturally very interesting, with a high ceiling, a dramatic stairway and large windows facing the patio and the lake. The house is well furnished and has it all: dishwasher, washing machine, big fridge, wifi, hairdryer, iron, etc..

In a short distance from the center of Rome and just a few minutes from many shops and restaurants, however nothing is in walking distance so you will definitely need a car. Some difficulties with the garbage recycling rules, but OK once you understand how it works.

Very special place

  • 4 of 5

This place is really special!

The garden witnesses how much the owner loves this place. Extremely well maintained, with impressive tall trees and multicolor flowers decorating the large lawns.

We also very much liked thhe pool and its salty water, much better than chlorine.

The house is very large and it was spotless, and we found everything we needed, including the cubes for lighting the Bbq.

The only thing missing were the large towels, which were not included. We were supposed tomrent them from a local laundry that offers this service, but the owner managed to have them delivered at our house at no extra cost.

To future travelers who do not bring them I suggest to buy them, price is very low and almost the same as renting...

Very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Very good location, minutes from everything but quite and in the green.

Rome is within half an hour drive, and there are many nice restaurants and shops in the village.

Besides the pool, which they loved, the kids were very happy with the lake beaches, one of which also had inflatable "islands" and games on the water.

Very nice

  • 5 of 5

Nice, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Garden and pool very enjoyable, perfect for kids.

Really secluded, which is good, but there is nothing in walking distance, except just one restaurant.

  • 5 of 5

We decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary in Italy, and Trevignano was the ideal choice.

A beautiful old town and a modern liveliness perfectly blend.

The house is large and comfortable, equipped with all we needed.

The garden is huge and very well maintained, and while the kids were loudly playing football on the lawns the adults quietly were relaxing by the pool at the other end.

But the real gem is the patio facing the lake, where we had very nice outdoor meals and watched the boats sailing on the lake.

The only downside to this wonderful holiday was the weather, unusually rainy for two full days.
