About the property

Peaceful, spaciously laid out residence overlooking the bay of Pals

Detached single house with a tower on a property of about 700 sq.m, located about 2500 m from the beach, with a floor area of about 180 sq.m. Main building: Spacious living room with an open fireplace, lounge area for up to 15 people, which includes a 5-seater natural stone bench with cushions in front of the fireplace and a 6-seater corner sofa, as well as a coffee table and access to the terrace. Satellite TV (international channels) is included, as well as internet access via Wi-Fi (please see Facilities>General>Internet access). There is open access to a separate dining room which seats up to 15, as well as to the kitchen, which is a fully equipped fitted kitchen with a washing machine. There are also 3 double bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub/toilet, and a separate toilet. Adjacent wing: 3 double bedrooms, one bedroom with three bedrooms (bunk bed with a double bed underneath and a single bed up top), 2 bathrooms with shower/toilet, washing machine, covered terrace with an outdoor fireplace/BBQ, sun terrace, flat lawn area, large swimming pool (10x4 m) with automatic lighting (can be turned off if desired), lovely garden patio with shade from a pull-out awning, tightly fitted stone tables, stone benches, and a small outdoor kitchen. Outdoors, there is a panoramic sea views over the bay of Pals. A single garage is located right next to the garden gate at the entrance to the property. Other parking places are available on the road in front of the house and property, which is a quiet residential street without much through traffic.

The house is located about 2,500 m from the beach. Attractions include a 6-km-long fine sandy beach at the edge of a nature reserve, facilities for sports on land and water, and the marina and sport harbour of Estartit (marina with boat charter). Gorgeous underwater ecosystems for divers can be found by the Islas Medas, just offshore. There are 2 golf courses with 18 holes (Platja de Pals Golf Club, Serres de Pals Golf Club). Several sports facilities are located nearby, with tennis, squash, mini golf, a riding school, a sport airfield for ultralight planes, and fresh water fishing. There are also shopping facilities, supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies, cafés and good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The city and business centre of Pals is about 3 km away (with restaurants, bars, boutiques, banks, bike and car rental, and much more. The beautiful old town boasts a maze of winding streets and historical buildings. The countryside offers many opportunities for excursions and hikes, as well as countless attractions, medieval cities and towns, famous museums (such as the Dali Museum in Figueras and the Gala Museum in Pubol), botanical gardens, vineyards, olive plantations, picturesque harbour towns (such as Palamos, with its daily fish market), the provincial capital of Girona and last but not least, the Catalonian capital of Barcelona.

Location non conforme à notre attente

Très décus dès notre arrivée par le manque de propreté des lieux surtout dans la cuisine (frigo, four, lave-vaisselle,vaisselle....) Et le manque de vaisselle pour cuisiner lorsque la location est prévue pour + de 10 personnes ?

L'entretien des équipements sanitaires laisse à désirer ainsi que les autres pièces.

Cuisine d'été pas entretenue et vaisselle salle à l'intérieur des meubles !

Il y a un minimum de bricolage pour être dans la normalité...

Le propriétaire en accord avec l'agence qui nous a remis les clés nous a fait perdre une journée de vacances afin de faire une remise en état de la Villa.
