This modern 150 m2 single-family house built in 2004 by the owner, an Athens architect, is arranged on one main level, with a separate guest house at -1 level. The main house consists of two architectural volumes that are connected by a corridor with glass doors. The western volume comprises all the dwelling spaces, ie. open plan design kitchen, dining area and sitting room. The eastern volume houses 3 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 children's bedroom with bunker bed for two, WC & bathroom. The guestroom at the lower level is equipped with one double & one single bed, bathroom and small refrigerator.
A wooden deck connects the two volumes and is ideal for outdoor dining with sea view. The house is surrounded by a 1.000 m2 garden with free green spaces for outdoor activities, trees and herbs. The house with guestroom sleeps up to 8 persons.

The house is located in a quiet suburban area west of the town of Marmari in the south of Evia island. Nearby town Karystos (15 min. drive). Marmari has regular ferry boat connections to the port of Rafina, northeast of Athens - 20 min. drive from Athens airport. The sandy beach of Kokini is at 7 min. walking distance from house, with trees for shade in hot summer days. The Marmari area is ideal for wind-surfing and sailing. Interesting sites in the wider area of Marmari & Karystos include the Dimossaris gorge for hiking, the venetian 'Castello Rosso', the Roman marble quarries and columns and the prehistoric 'Dragon Houses' (Drakospita).
