Recently converted into two large self contained dwellings, referred to as ‘The Mill’ and ‘The Wheelhouse’ accommodating up to 12 people in the Wheelhouse (Four Bedrooms), and 20 people in the Mill (Seven Bedrooms). They each have a large private heated swimming pool and a unique character. They can also be interconnected and used as a single eleven bedroom dwelling. Ideally situated, combining easy access from Cross Channel Ferry Ports and the fabulous climate found South of the Loire Valley. 'The Wheelhouse was very well equipped and the dishwasher was a real boon. The bedding was lovely, nice to have quality cotton duvet covers and pillowcases. The cooker was super and the quickness of the gas hob great to use. The amount of crockery and cutlery was generous and the patio plates and beakers ideal for our grandchild to use'

Perfect, well maintained large house

Thue was the perfect location for our party of 16 adults and we could easily have housed many more! Two great heated pools, table tennis, well equipped kitchen, a football pitch, 10 bikes, 2 villages, a garden stream and great September weather. What more could you want? Thanks so much, look forward to coming back.

Just Delightful

Perfect Getaway

The Thue property is located in a beautiful location and is a 5 minute walk from any other house or shop, perfect if you just want to relax in private. The house was in a good condition when we arrived and had plenty to keep us occupied; both kitchen and living areas and two pools are really useful especially as we had a large group.

Although relatively secluded there are supermarkets, restaurants and bars within driving/cycling distance and some really nice towns and beaches a bit further away (1 hour drive) but well worth a visit. We put the 10 bikes to good use, there are some amazing views and routes through the sunflower fields in the surrounding area.

I would recommend this property to any big groups of friends or family who want to entertain themselves in a peaceful corner of France.

As a large and mixed age group holidaying together to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday we had lots of things to take into consideration when booking our accomodation and can I say THUE certainly ticked all the boxes , we were absolutely delighted with the place !

Everyone enjoyed the space , the facilities were fantastic and kept a group of young boys and teenagers occupied all week whilst the older members whiled away many an hour enjoying the garden and BBQ. The local people were helpful and neighbours allowed us to use their lake for fishing and checked we were all happy.

The assistance you gave in finding a hog roast for our party was much appreciated ,Roget and his wife were delightful and the food was fabulous - much to recommend here I can assure you.

We were also grateful for the help given in sorting out delivery of medical items for my friend who has to undergo daily dialysis , this was a real weight off her mind.

So all in all a fabulous place with really helpful people who made the whole process very smooth indeed for a difficult to organise group.

We shall definitely be booking again !

Wonderful tamily holiday

As a family group of eighteen we booked the whole property and had a wonderful time. The children were in the pools several times each day and when they were not in the pools they were playing on the bikes or swinging over the small stream on a rope swing. The gardens were full of banks of wild flowers and butterflies and the plums from the plum trees made wonderful tarts. When we did venture out from the property the nearby local village had a good boulangerie and handy shop which sold most essential items.
