A self-catering rental in Los Alcazares with air-conditioning close to the beach

This modern apartment within a secured complex, boasts a large living room complete with air-con / heating, Sky TV / DVD / CD player and a selection of CD's, DVD’s, books & magazines. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and leads out onto a separate rear patio. The spacious master bedroom features a double bed and the second features 2 single beds. Both rooms contain large fitted wardrobes with additional clothes compartments, bed side units, ceiling fans and large mirror. A safe, iron & board and hairdryer are also provided. The large terrace is south facing with a BBQ, 4 sun loungers, a patio table, parasol and chairs. The apartment is close to an array of bars, restaurants and supermarkets and is just over 5 minutes to the beach. There are numerous golf courses within a 15 minute drive.

Getting There: Fly to Murcia (San Javier) from the following airports: Manchester, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Liverpool, Cardiff, East Midlands, Leeds-Bradford, Birmingham, Southampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Prestwick, Shannon, Dublin, Guernsey & Kent. Murcia airport is 10 minutes away. Most other airlines fly into Alicante which is only 45 minutes drive away.

Markets & Festivals: Los Alcazares holds two weekly street markets, selling various products such as clothing and fresh food. It is an excellent way to meet and interact with the local Spanish community. It also hosts several festivals, including the international celebration of La Huerta. Throughout the last two weeks in August, groups representing market garden areas throughout Spain and other European countries gather to display their folklore, handicrafts and prepare gastronomic feasts from their local produce. Since 2000 the last three days in March has seen Los Alcazares take on a medieval flavour with a large medieval market and numerous events in recollection of the times of peace following the creation of effective defences against invasions of Barbary pirates during the 15th century. The town was afforded municipal autonomy on 13 October 1983. In celebration of this, each October the town puts on a week-long outdoor party featuring live music, shows and spectacular firework displays.

Lovely apartment in Good Location

Our 6th time back to Los Alcazares and 4th year using this Apartment. Lovely and clean with everything you need, nice gated complex in great location close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and beach. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday in the sun, would fully recommend.

A fantastic stay

We had a great time, the apartment was immaculate, the facilities were perfect. The complex was spotless and everyone we met were warm and friendly. It was quiet at night and perfect for a family holiday or a quiet getaway break. Mary was a pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to returning soon. Book with total confidence.

Trustworthy owner, comfortable apartment

Spacious clean apartment with 2 good sized bedrooms. Met & given keys by Dianne who was friendly and helpful. So thankful for the fan welcome pack, bread,butter,jam, ham,cheese, eggs,milk ,water, biscuits , 2 cold beers & a bottle of wine . Thankyou so much they were greatly appreciated.the aparent was a minutes walk from the pool & 5 mins to local square that bustled on an evening. A lovely clean apartment in a safe secure complex, absolutely perfect for families with kids.mary was so helpful and answered all emails & calls quickly. We will def be visiting your apartment again. Many thanks

Perfect getaway

We've been to the apartment at least once every year for the past ten years and it's like a home from home. Everything we need is in the apartment and it's a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach.

The patio is a sun trap and I love relaxing there reading. It's just round the corner from the pool so you don't hear anything from it and it's not far to go to.

Los Alcazares is a perfect holiday destination and this apartment is ideal. Mary is lovely to deal with and always helpful. The complex is well cared for and very clean. We will be returning in December and have already booked for next year.

First Visit to Los Alcazares

This was our first time visiting this part of Spain we stayed for 10 days and had a fabulous time. Great apartment and it is situated in an excellent location. Short walk to great restaurants and not much further to a beautiful beach. Mary emailed us very useful information before our visit which we found most helpful. The property manager was so helpful, collected us from airport and was there if we needed anything.I would highly recommend this apartment, everything went so smoothly and we hope to return in the near future.

Lovely apartment, fully equipped in great location

We have stayed in Los Alcazares before and this time wanted to stay in an apartment. This was in a great location and suited our purpose brilliantly. The apartment has everything you would need and I would thoroughly recommend it. Communication and the key hand over was friendly and easy which really helped. As we were researching purchasing a property Internet connection would have been a very welcome addition, however we tracked it down in the bars so it wasn't too much of a problem. A wonderful base for exploring Murcia.

Los Alcazares is a typical Spanish town located on the shores of the Mar Menor. It boasts a beautiful blue flag beach and an attractive 7k promenade dotted with numerous beach front bars. For families with small children the clean sandy beach is very safe, with shallow water and little tide. It offers a wide choice of activities including water sports, boat trips, go karts and cycle hire. For the golf enthusiast it is within a short drive of 7 excellent golf courses, 4 of them of international standard. It holds two weekly markets and several annual festivals. Los Alcazares is within easy access of Murcia City an historic Moorish city, famous for it’s architecture and history as well as it’s excellent shops, bars, restaurants and theatres; and Cartagena renowned for It’s beautiful bay and harbour side fish restaurants is a 15 minute drive away.

Golf: La Manga Club is just a short drive away housing 3 championship golf courses with a .sport and health centre. There are several more golf courses in the area including Torre Pacheco, VillaMartin, Alta Real, Campoamor, La Finca & La Marquesa.
