Near the estuary of Rott and Inn in Neuhaus, 18 km south of Passau, near the Bäderdreieck (3 spas), opposite wonderful baroque and cultural city of Schärding/OÖ, the recently renovated and done up apartment, very cosy and located on the ground floor of a quiet cottage, surrounded with gardens, fields and lawns, is available for rent for non-smokers. Ground floor, about 80 sqm, bedroom for 2, living room with 2 fold-out beds for 2 extra adults or maximum 4 small children, large eat-in kitchen, spacious bathroom with window, corridor, outdoor sitting area with barbecue, garden belonging to the apartment, parking space, lockable bike shed. Garden furniture, sun beds. Eat-in kitchen with all necessary equipments: fridge, cooker (air circulation/grill) with ceramic stove top, dishwasher, microwave with grill, coffee and espresso machines, kettle, toaster, etc. In the bathroom: washing machine and dryer. Cot also included.Small reading corner with selection of games. Satellite TV, DVD-player

The indicated prices are for 2 people: Extra guest in the apartment on the client's request is always possible. Prices for this case: 10€/person/day extra.

  • The bathroom is very spacious, a large window overlooks the yard, a washing machine and a condenser tumble drier are at hand. Laundry closet and receptacle for dirty washing. Bathtub and washbasin are new, the bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling. Washable shower curtain. Hand and bath towels are on hand. Cosy and soft whole carpet, high-quality furniture.

  • The bedroom is entirely newly done up with a double bed, night stands with lamps, full length mirror and 2 wardrobes with dressers. Space for a cot (available as part of the complete equipment). 3 windows with blinds. Cosy, with wood beams on the ceiling, attractive furniture. The large bathroom is located right opposite. On demand, extra sleeping facilities in the living room (2 comfortable fold-out beds) for 2 adults or maximum 4 small children. For better quality of sleep, blinds are at hand. Bed linen, bath robes and towels are available, as well as an ironing board, a flat iron and a first-aid kit. Kitchen towels are on hand. Small pets on demand.

Our apartment was awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association! The apartment was entirely refurbished and newly done up. It is entirely furnished in a cottage style and is comfortably and generously equipped with all domestic appliances as well as basic commodities and dishes etc. Wooden beams on the ceiling and wood panelling in parts give the apartment a homey atmosphere in its quiet, restful location. However, sports and leisure activities are always possible, you can choose from many offers in the close surroundings.

We highly recommend the accommodation where we stayed. The property was fully furnished,everything you need for self catering. Its situated by the river Inn, where a walk across the bridge,and your in Schaerding in Austria. We found Mr and Mrs Wurzbach very kind and helpful during our stay. This was a driving holiday, and there are many places to visit. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Gemütliche Wohnung mit toller Ausstattung

Die Unterkunft liegt unmittelbar am Grenzübergang nach Schärding in Österreich. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem Notwendigen und noch darüber hinaus ausgestattet. Hier lässt es sich bei jedem Wetter sehr gut aushalten. Die Vermieter sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend für einen Radurlaub.

Neuhaus and surroundings are good for sport activities as well as hiking and excursions. Starting point for whole day or extended bike tours (Passau-Attersee cycle path in front of the house): Passau, Bavarian forest, Regensburg, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna. Restful holidays with various swimming possibilities (natural swimming lakes, quarry ponds, open air pools in Schärding & Passau, water park in Passau (indoor pool with fun facilities for children and youngsters, open all year), horse-riding, possibilities for amateur fishers against licence tax. Western town Pullman City 30 minutes in the car. Centre of Neuhaus and Schärding: 1 min in the car, 5 min on foot. Best shopping facilities in Neuhaus und Schärding. If required, full medical care and chemist's in the village. Highway exit A 3: Pocking 6km, Airports: Munich 200km, Linz/OÖ 90km. Schärding train station, where you can get directly on the train Passau/Munich, direction Vienna; good bus connections: Passau, Bad Füssing, Altötting.

Other Activities: Nordic walking, canoe and kayak rental facilities as well archery in the 'jungle camp' near the Rott (with costs)
