FLORENCE ITALY PERFECT PRISCO APARTMENT
The Prisco apartment is located half a block off fashionable Via Tornabuoni near Palazzo Strozzi. It is on the third floor of a building with an elevator. Restaurants, shops abound in this neighborhood. The apartment is extremely spacious, 85 square meters/900 square feet.
Take a walk through the Prisco apartment by viewing the video. See link above.
The morning sun illuminates the living room and kitchen area. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of an open plan living room and kitchen area. The kitchen table seats up to six people.
Throw open the large living room, bedroom & kitchen windows and enjoy the lively scene below. The apartment features many original Italian antiques, yet the living room maintains a casual feel with a modern Italian sofa that opens to become queen size bed.
In the morning zip down to the bakery that is next door to the apartment building and pick out your morning bread and pastries. At night, enjoy a glass of wine and relax a bit before you head out to one of the many excellent neighborhood restaurants.
The kitchen has a gas range with grill, a large oven, lots of cabinet and countertop space, dishwasher, and a large refrigerator with freezer, pots, pans, dishes.
The spacious master bedroom has high ceilings and a romantic draped queen size bed. A new chaise longue-style single bed in the corner of the bedroom provides an extra sleeping space for a child or small adult since it is slightly smaller than a standard single bed. The bedroom alone is over 40 square meters, or 430 square feet...larger then many Florence apartments! We like to advise guests that since this apartment is in the popular historic center, there can be street noise at night from pedestrians (not cars) down below who are strolling by after a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants. The bedroom & living room windows are double glazed.
Within the same building are our Strozzi VRBO #156858 and Michaela VRBO #58566 vacation rental apartments.
No check in after 7:00 pm. So sorry, no exceptions.

Excellent location just off Via Tornabuoni in Florence's most upscale historic center are.
• Cafe La Giacosa across the street, great coffee, wonderful chocolates
• Excellent restaurants down the block
• Proximity to the major sites
• 8 minute walk to the train station
Huge and airy. Clean and comfortable. Fine art pieces. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere, and could stop by the apartment if we just wanted a mid-day break. We had every convenience we needed, lots of room to spread out, and the largest bedroom ever! The lovely hosts were very helpful and congenial, and even left coffee, tea and wine for us. The washing machine was a big plus too. I would definitely recommend this apartment (as well as Italy Perfect) to a friend. We would love to go back and stay here again.
Prisco was the perfect Italian apartment for us. Very spacious and a fantastic location! Close to everything we needed. The train was a very close and easy walk for day trips. We were given clear instructions for how to use everything in the apartment and everything went perfectly. I read about noise, but we had no problem at all. The bedroom was very dark and quiet. I had never rented an apartment while away, but this was definitely the way to go. I highly recommend Italy Perfect and Prisco!
The apartment is a 17th century gem, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of old Florence. Mikki and Franco are excellent hosts, and made us very comfortable and welcome. The apartment is spacious, updated and comfortable. We'd definitely like to return.
The Prisco is a really beautiful apartment in a very old building off the Via de Tornabuoni, an elegant shopping street, and just up from the Arno. The living room was very large and comfortable, the bedroom was so elegant, and the kitchen and bathroom were perfect. The windows in the living room/kitchen and the bedroom were nearly floor to ceiling, making the apartment light-filled during the day and romantic at night. Our greeters, Miki and Franco, were kind and attentive and reliable. The apartment could not have been more centrally located. We walked everywhere, including to the Uffizi, the Piazza della Repubblica, the Accademia, the Pitti Palace, and the Duomo. It's about an 8 minute walk from the train station to the apartment.
We had reservations at the Uffizi and the Accademia, which we strongly recommend. The museum behind the Duomo is not to be missed, both for the doors of the Baptistry and for Michelangelo's last Pieta. St Mark's English Church, just across the Arno, (stmarksitaly.com/music-arts/opera-at-st-marks) hosts a really fine opera company in a small and lovely setting. We saw a memorable performance of Madame Butterfly there. We also recommend Walks of Italy (www.walksofitaly.com), which provides a number of different tours. We went on the day long Tuscany tour to Siena, to a winery with a multi-course lunch, and to San Gimignano, a really charming hill town. We spent a week in Florence and still did not see all the great Renaissance art that we wanted to see. There is history and art everywhere. An extraordinary place.
Tips and suggestions: The bakery three doors down from the apartment (Forno Top) has outstanding breads and pastries. We shopped at a couple of small delis on via del Spada for lunch and some dinners. The La Spada restaurant has take-out - ask Miki about that.
Hats off to ItalyPerfect! We read everything they sent, followed all their instructions, relied on them totally, and were never never disappointed. For example, we went to Frizzoni, the leather shop they recommended, and found a number of reasonably priced purses for our family members at home. ItalyPerfect is a great company. I've recommended them to all my friends, and wouldn't hesitate to rent one of their apartments/villas again. In fact, I'm planning on doing just that.
A friend and I stayed in the Prisco apartment for 4 nights. The apartment is huge and decorated with Old World charm. The hosts are very gracious and gave us lots of information about the apartment and nearby attractions. There is a small collection of business cards from recommended restaurants; the ones we could get into (it was Easter and very crowded) were excellent. There is no street noise in the bedroom but it was sometimes loud for the person sleeping on the bed in the living room. Everything you need--small kitchen, washing machine, wireless internet--is available in this unit. It is also within walking distance of most of the attractions. I also had questions from the rental agency, Italy Perfect and couldn't be happier with the service I received. I recommend this apartment without hesitation.
My husband, my two teenage children, and I stayed at the Prisco apartment during our entire 10 day stay in Florence. The Prisco is a grand apartment, beautiful and spacious, in a grand location, close to everything. We were 5-7 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from the Duomo and 10 minutes from the Uffizi. We were right across the street from a lovely coffee shop, Cafe Giacosa, and only a few store fronts away from an excellent bakery, Forno Top, which was very convenient. Our greeters were a charming Italian couple that spent a lot of time familiarizing us with the apartment and the local area. They were so sweet, we wanted to take them traveling with us. Our only problem with this apartment is that you could hear the noise from the bar below in the living room every night. Our children slept on the pull out sofa in the living room every night and had to wear ear plugs to get any sleep. My husband and I slept in the bedroom and heard none of the outside noise. Lisa, from Italy Perfect was very easy to work with and contact. The typed material we downloaded from Italy Perfect was very informative and helpful, and specific to where we were staying as well. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to friends and family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in the Prisco apartment. The apartment was so much larger than anticipated, it was absolutely fabulous. The location could not be better, right in the heart of the restaurants, amazing shopping, there is everything you could want right at your doorstop. Downstairs are a bakery, cafes, small grocery stores, restaurants, bars. Miki and Franco were charming hosts and greeted us warmly and spent a great deal of time giving us all the information and tips we could possibly need. The entire apartment is very spacious, the kitchen and bathroom have all the modern conveniences you could want. The apartment is extremely comfortable, the bedroom enormous and sound-proof so you get a good night's sleep ready for all the walking you'll do the next day. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in Firenze, which we hope will be soon. Italy Perfect made the whole process rather easy and provided us with lots of information to maximise our stay. Very glad we went through them.
