Loft 350 square metres with garden in the centre of Paris bordering the Marais, 5 minutes from the place des vosges. 5 minutes from the place de la bastille. The loft and its private garden where you can lunch and dine is a big plus in Paris. The loft is also independent without any neighbours in front and completely quiet. The large living-room and 3 bedrooms are looking directly at the garden. There are plenty of trendy restaurants ,bars and shops in the area. The Metro Stations at one minute, either Oberkampf or Filles du Calvaire.
We were 6 people in this fantastic flat (actually - a house), and enjoyed the garden (with a goldfish pond!), the spacious rooms and the well-equipped kitchen.
The place is an architect-built house, very ingenious, "different" and appealing - while being cosy and comfortable.
The owner is a friendly, nice lady who went out of her way to be helpful.
Situated in the heart of Paris, on a busy commercial street (all kinds of shops, cafes and restaurants) - but very quiet and isolated due to its location far inside the building - this house is right next door to 3 metro lines. This, of course, makes travel within Paris very easy and even enjoyable.
Highly recommended for parties of 6 and up (otherwise too expensive), who are willing to experience "real Parisian living".
We had a very enjoyable stay, and will be back there on our next Paris visit.
My family stayed here over Christmas last year. I have rented quite a few holiday apartments and I have to say, this was probably the best place I have ever stayed. It is not an apartment, it is a house, an incredibly beautiful house. If you have a large group and want somewhere homely but unusual you will really like this place. It's as central as you could possibly get and has so much character, not to mention space! To find a house in the city centre of Paris is truly incredible and especially one in such a beautiful area. I would highly recommend this place, it was a wonderful place to stay at Christmas - I think it must be stunningly beautiful in the summer what with all the windows, there must be so much light. It's a very safe, secure property in a nice street, about a minute from a metro. It's extremely well equipped with all the kitchen things you could possibly need - we even cooked a Christmas dinner there (admittedly the oven is not big enough for a turkey, but we couldn't find one of those anyway!). Possibly not a place to stay with young children because the house is full of breakables and it has open staircases as well but my 83 year old grandmother coped with the layout very well! The owner is a lovely lady who was extremely helpful. If you're looking for a home away from home in Paris I don't think you could do much better than this!
