This spacious apartment sits in an elevated position in the much sought after quiet complex of Lago Verde overlooking the harbour in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen.

It is privately owned, centrally located and single storey.

The balcony, which enjoys all day sunshine, has panoramic views out to sea and to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

Each of the two bedrooms has two single beds, large built in wardrobe and dressing table while the master bedroom has French doors to the exceptionally large balcony.

The modern kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, oven, four ringed electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board etc. It is separated from the lounge by a two level marble breakfast bar.

The spacious lounge has a picture window with French doors leading to the balcony. It has a 3 piece suite TV, DVD player and radio and CD player.

It also has a library of over 100 books which guests can use on a 'Take One Leave one' basis

The recently upgraded bathroom has twin sinks, shower and toilet.

The apartment has its own safe and 3 fans, 1 in the lounge and 1 in each bedroom. The windows to the back of the property are fitted with fly screens

Towels are changed twice per week and bedding once per week.

The very secluded balcony has a dining table, 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds, 2 sunbed umbrellas and clothes dryer.

The complex has a swimming pool (heated in winter only) sunbathing area, shaded area, reception (open 7 days), pool bar serving drinks and meals from 10 a.m., a pool table, telephone and internet.

There is Free WiFi in the reception and pool bar and, if required in the apartment itself, it can be obtained for 15 euros per week payable to Reception

There is a laundry on the complex for which tokens can be purchased from Reception.

We are very central for Restaurants, Shops, Supermarkets, Beach and the Harbour, therefore a car is not essential unless you want to explore the many sights of the Island particularly Fire Mountain.

The nearest restaurant is La Bamba which is about 10 yards from the entrance to the complex and the second nearest is Mario's in the Montana Tropical centre about 50 yards from the complex.

Take a 5 minute stroll down to the harbour area where you will find an abundance of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Seafood, Spanish, British, French, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese

There is an 18 hole golf course with a driving range a 10 minute taxi ride from the apartment

Excursions can be booked at reception as can Taxi's.

About Douglas Leithead

I am a retired Chartered Accountant and live with my wife in Scotland. We have two children and six grandchildren who all love having holidays at Lago Verde.

Prior to retiring in 1993 we had spent many holidays in Lanzarote and loved the island especially its many beaches and restaurants. After retiring we went for a week to Lanzarote with a view to buying a holiday apartment. The estate agent showed us 11 apartments but when we saw the huge secluded balcony and the wonderful views from 22 Lago Verde, we just knew that this was the apartment we had to have. At that time it was 5 years old, and gradually over the last 24 years we have upgraded and modernised until everything was just how we wanted it.

My wife's favourite phrase when we are there is ' aren't we lucky to have found a place like this'

Notes:
The swimming pool is heated in winter only. Towels are changed twice per week and bed linen once per week. A folding bed or cot can be hired to accommodate a 5th person in the Lounge. (£21 per week) The reception closes at 4 pm.

Wonderful Relaxing Holiday

We spent a wonderful week in this apartment in January/Feb 2008. Apartment was very clean and spacious and a super large balcony which we got great use with the good weather. Great collection of DVS and CD for a relaxing night in. If fact this apartment has it all. What more can I say...we will be back.

Great stay

Lanzarote is our favourite holiday destination by far and this two bedroom apartment at Lago Verde definitely takes the top spot. The booking process was so easy as the owner was very efficient and gave us loads of useful information. The apartment was in a little complex and everyone was so friendly including reception staff and the “pool shack” staff. The food and drink served by Tony and Louise was just perfect for those long sunny days by the heated good sized pool. If you prefer you could sunbathe on the huge “L” shaped balcony which had two loungers, a table and four chares. I must say the views from this balcony were absolutely stunning. This certainly was a “sea view”. The apartment it’s self was a great size with a well equipped kitchen which was spotlessly clean. There was also a TV with some English Channels and a whole array of DVD’s to watch. The apartment was so bright and very homely and definitely the best I’ve stayed in on holiday. We will be back!

1st Class Apartment

We've just returned from a fabulous holiday at 22 Lago Verde. The apartment was very spacious, it was all we could ever have wished for. The panoramic views from the huge balcony were just fantastic. We had the sun the whole day long on the balcony so we just relaxed on the sunloungers (including cushions) and ate at the table and chairs. Inside the apartment there was a TV with BBC1 and ITV also Sky news etc. The kitchen was very well equiped with everything I needed, including a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven and hob. There was also plenty of dishes, glasses etc. We spent alot of time along at the pool meeting other people and having a few meals and drinks at the Pool Shack. Louise, Tony and Paul were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Sam at reception was also very helpful with any queries we had. We've been to Lanzarote a few times before and it never disappoints us, we've eaten in many restaurants and never had a bad meal. I will definetely be returning to Lanzarote again and without a doubt we'll be booking this apartment. The owner and his daughter made the process go very smooth and both were extremely helpful.

Fantastic Hotel, perfect for small groups

Loved it here, the food available at the bar is brilliant (try the zinger wrap!), the people who own the bar are absolutely lovely, the apartment itself is spot on, lovely and clean, great for sunbathing, and very spacious, will stay again :)

An Upmarket Apartment

This apartment has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday and was exactly as described in the advert.

It was spotlessly clean, well-furnished and is in a perfect position to access all local amenities

The views from the large balcony which caught the sun all day long, were fabulous

There was an ample supply of towels, bed linen etc. and a beautiful modern kitchen although we ate out most of the time in the many restaurants nearby.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was prompt and helpful with all our communications

The pool was clean and perfectly maintained and we had it to ourselves a lot of the time.

For communications, accommodation and overall service we would give this property 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to people of all ages
