Beautiful property. Ideal for a relaxing break.

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful week away. The property is stunning and has an open and relaxed feel about it. The children spent hours in the pool ( 9 and 12 yrs) and if they weren't in it, they were talking about when they would get back to it. The view is beautiful and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Sarah and Graham are lovely and the welcome hamper was such a treat. The weather was dodgy for a few days but just arranged the week accordingly.

I agree with the earlier review, it is a perfect break for families. Would love to go back again!

Fabulous farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

There where 7 of us staying for a week in the fabulous farmhouse . It was very spacious & we loved the 2

Sperate living areas . The photos really don't do it justice , on arrival it was everything we imagined & more . The welcome food basket was a lovely gesture . Sarah & Grahame where a

Stones throw away if needed & where very lovely & helpful . A car is defiantly needed as a little far out but it was lovely to just have a week chilling by the pool . We would totally recommend the farmhouse to anyone who wants a very chilled ,lazy time in amazing surroundings , we will be recommending mason de Nicola 100% .

Excellent - wouldn't change a thing

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful farmhouse that has been renovated with great love, care and attention to detail. Loads of room inside and out for the 6 of us. Wonderfully peaceful (saw a deer from our bedroom window one morning) but only ten minutes from Mussidan for food shopping. Bergerac a little further but a doddle from the airport. Wouldn't change a thing - has everything you need and more, welcome basket amazing. This is a quality property - probably the best we've stayed in over many years of gite rentals in France. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic house, great for families

  • 5 of 5

The house was great for our holiday with two separate living areas, swimming pool and within 20 minutes driving of a village with large grocery stores, etc. Graham and his wife were great hosts and responded promptly to all of our requests before and during our stay. We hope to return again for our next holiday.

A little piece of heaven!

  • 5 of 5

3 couples after a quiet retreat - Maison De Nicola was everything we wanted it to be and more. From the moment we arrived the place felt like home. We were greated with an exceptionally warm welcome and immediately felt like our holiday had begun. A 'starter pack' of meats, cheeses, wines and bread were chilling in fridge so that we wouldnt have to venture far for dinner having arrived late into the evening- an extra special touch which has left a lasting impression.

The house was spotless and had everything we could want - tv , music station, 2 lounges for when you wanted peace and quiet, vast fridge and freezer, pool and countless dvds and music!

The pool was spotless and we enjoyed several days lounging by the pool taking in the spectacular views. Evenings were spent cooking and eating out on the terrace in the warm everning sun, which again looked out onto the forests below and beyond.

As a keen runner I ventured out several times, through the nearby woods and into Isaac. The locals are all welcoming and always said hello on my passing.

The master bedroom with its vast en suite was my room and an incredible space. The beds were soft - a little too soft for my liking but were clean and large! - everything you want a bed to be!

We visted St Emilion and Bergerac which were a great day out. The nearest big supermarket was 10 minutes away which had everything you could want - including a very good selection of wines!

We had one rainy day but I had a brilliant time snuggled in the lounge watching films, listening to music and reading books.

Graham and Sarah were perfect hosts, only a stones throw if we needed anything.

I cannot fault this house or its hosts whatsoever and very much look forward to our stay in the future.

THank you so much for an incredible holiday.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Truly beautiful property, great setting and owners couldn't be nicer. The children (4 and 7) loved the gardens, wildlife and most of all the pool, they even finisher their meals at the restaurant in Isaac. The other reviews say it all.
