On our Homepage www.fewo-gapa.de you can start the 360° Tour through the apartments. Welcome at our holiday apartments Am Kurpark for 2-6 persons. We offer our guests three apartments of 60, 90 or 150 sqm on the first or second floor. The holiday homes can be comfortably reached by elevator. You will live in the middle of the 'Garmisch' pedestrian area, very close to the spa gardens. The cable car and the ice rink are 5-10 Minutes by foot. The local bus stops only 2 minutes from the apartment building. The new holiday apartments are equipped with a modern ventilation system with filter . Apartment 1 **** and apartment 2 ***** both offer two bedrooms. Apartment 3 ***** has three bedrooms. All beds have adjustable slatted frames and allergy tested blankets and pillows. The kitchens are fully equipped. Every holiday home has its own washing machine and dryer. Internet and a telephone are available too. Furthermore, you can use the flat screen TV with satellite and stereo system with DVD player. If wished, parking space can be rent

How to get to us:: By car: from Munich through the highway A 95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, from Augsburg to Schongau on the B 17 and further in the direction of Oberammergau and Garmisch Partenkirchen on the B 23 or through the highway Ulm Kempten A 7 and further through Reute Lermoos and Ehrwald, Griesen to Garmisch-Partenkichen to Kongresshaus. Since our holiday apartment is in the pedestrian zone, we ask you to call us or get in contract with us shortly before your arrival if you have parked temporarily at Kongresshaus parking lot. We will then come immediately and will give you a written entrance certificate for the region. If you want to come by train:from nearly all German large cities there are excellent connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the train station, it is only about 5-7 minutes on foot to our holiday apartment, or you can take the local bus from the train stsation and ride towards Kongresshaus 1 station. We can pick you up from the train station if arranged.

The special location of the apartment:: Our holiday apartment is unique for Garmisch. There are no other holiday apartments directly in the pedestrian zone with elevator. You look down at the pedestrian zone from the balcony, you do not need a car to get to different locals and restaurants. The spa park Pavillon and Cafe Krönner are directly next to or across from our house so that if you want, you can order breakfast via telephone and shortly thereafter, you can sit at a covered table. Ice rink, swimming pool, train to Zugspitze, cinema can be reached in a maximum walk of 10 minutes, you can see in the spa park from your apartment and if you would like, you can enjoy a spa concert

Fantastic find in Garmische!

We stayed here in December 2015. The apartment (Apt. 1) is very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and kid friendly. The location is perfect for the Christmas market season (you can hear the market music if you crack the living room window). The kitchen had everything we needed and made it easy to prepare simple meals to eat in rather than eating out all the time. There are two grocery stores close by. The elevator made it easy to get take our stroller in and out. Michaela was a fantastic hostess, providing maps and recommendations for restaurants, outings, etc. She was very attentive (even calling one day to provide an update on the weather on the Zugspitze as she knew we had wanted to go to the top). We hope to return in the future.

Clean, Modern, Great Location

Beautiful apartment - spacious, modern, clean, located in the walking zone. Driving to the door for loading/unloading was allowed (with a permit our hostess gave us). Elevator! Wifi very good. Free parking on the other side of the Kurpark worked fine (5 minute walk). Well-stocked kitchen! Only caution: it's location - tho convenient - was also it's only negative. Street noises were quite disruptive late into the evening (loud post-bar voices echoing from the inner town walls and a city maintenance guy who fired up his leaf blower at 730 sharp every morning). If you want open windows/fresh air, bring earplugs. Also, the master bedroom could use extra darkening curtains/blinds to counter the storefront lights across the way (apt 1). Also, this place will feel particularly comfortable for tall people; not quite so much for the shorter crowd (shower curtain height, door hook are 2 examples that come to mind).

Просторная, современная, уютная квартира. Расположение - супер!!! Много бытовой техники. Есть место хранения для лыж. Хорошая звукоизоляция (жили в четверос, никто никому не мешал).

Очень приятная и ответственная хозяйка, огромное ей за все спасибо!

Superb stay near Zugspitze!

First of all, we want to thank Michaela for the scedule. It is rare to be able to start a holiday week on Friday. Thank you!

The apartment (60 sqm) was really clean, which is important for us. We loved the spacious bathroom and it was great to be able to wash clothes since we were skiing every day. It is a good apartment for a family of 4. Everything is near -shops, restaurants, the railway station. Michaela helped us a lot, she recommended nice restaurants and sent us messages about the weather.

We loved staying in Garmisch-Parthenkirchen, but the apartment made the visit really nice. Thank you!

Great apartment and very wheelchair friendly

We rented this apartment for a month. It was a perfect location for exploring Bavaria and Austria. This apartment was perfect. The apartment was very clean and the location was great. Right on the pedestrian area where there are many restaurants and shops. I am confined to a wheelchair and this apartment was very accessible. Doors were wide, elevator was like new, kitchen table was high enough to get my wheelchair under, and the bathroom sink was high enough for my wheelchair to get under. The only issue was that the bed was pretty low and hard to transfer from/to my wheelchair. We solved this by putting a mattress from the other room on top of our mattress. This made the height for transfer perfect.

There are bus stops very close. There was also a parking garage very close. We initially parked in the garage but eventually found handicap parking on the street. We used my handicap placard from the states all over Germany, Austria, and Italy and had no issue.

Michaela was great to work with through the whole process. I had a lot of questions about accessibility and she was very responsive. She even took pictures and measurements of all the doors and the elevator so I could determine accessibility. Traveling to Europe in a wheelchair has some challenges but she helped make me comfortable after seeing the pictures and getting measurements of the doors.

I would highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to rent again from Michaela.

A wonderful home away from home

Our stay in the apartment (1) was very cosy that we look forward to return to it after our day trips. Our 2 boys love being in 'their room'.

We enjoyed a couple of evenings sipping tea while looking down through the window "watching life goes by".

Everything provided in the apartment was of good quality, well maintained and clean. We've stayed in many apartments in Asia Pacific and Europe, this one top our list. The location is great for everyone travelling with families and elderly. The lift was handy when you have to pull your luggage and will help those who have limitation climbing stairs.

There are many restaurants to choose and a couple of grocery stores to satisfy your cravings for snacks or create your own meals.

Michaela provided a fantastic service from the booking till the day we had to leave GaPa. We were provided with enough information and tips to go around GaPa which came in handy when making decisions.

We went up to Zugspitze easily as the train station was within walking distance of 5-8 mins. Taking the bus to Eibsee instead of the train was worth the longer trip as we had a small tour of GaPa.

If we have the opportunity to go GaPa again, we'd surely lookout for Gerhard and Michaela. And we will recommend them to our family and friends. Even our boys are singing praises of the apartment and asked when we are going back.
