On our Homepage www.fewo-gapa.de you can start the 360° Tour through the apartments. Welcome at our holiday apartments Am Kurpark for 2-6 persons. We offer our guests three apartments of 60, 90 or 150 sqm on the first or second floor. The holiday homes can be comfortably reached by elevator. You will live in the middle of the 'Garmisch' pedestrian area, very close to the spa gardens. The cable car and the ice rink are 5-10 Minutes by foot. The local bus stops only 2 minutes from the apartment building. The new holiday apartments are equipped with a modern ventilation system with filter . Apartment 1 **** and apartment 2 ***** both offer two bedrooms. Apartment 3 ***** has three bedrooms. All beds have adjustable slatted frames and allergy tested blankets and pillows. The kitchens are fully equipped. Every holiday home has its own washing machine and dryer. Internet and a telephone are available too. Furthermore, you can use the flat screen TV with satellite and stereo system with DVD player. If wished, parking space can be rent

How to get to us:: By car: from Munich through the highway A 95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, from Augsburg to Schongau on the B 17 and further in the direction of Oberammergau and Garmisch Partenkirchen on the B 23 or through the highway Ulm Kempten A 7 and further through Reute Lermoos and Ehrwald, Griesen to Garmisch-Partenkichen to Kongresshaus. Since our holiday apartment is in the pedestrian zone, we ask you to call us or get in contract with us shortly before your arrival if you have parked temporarily at Kongresshaus parking lot. We will then come immediately and will give you a written entrance certificate for the region. If you want to come by train:from nearly all German large cities there are excellent connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the train station, it is only about 5-7 minutes on foot to our holiday apartment, or you can take the local bus from the train stsation and ride towards Kongresshaus 1 station. We can pick you up from the train station if arranged.

The special location of the apartment:: Our holiday apartment is unique for Garmisch. There are no other holiday apartments directly in the pedestrian zone with elevator. You look down at the pedestrian zone from the balcony, you do not need a car to get to different locals and restaurants. The spa park Pavillon and Cafe Krönner are directly next to or across from our house so that if you want, you can order breakfast via telephone and shortly thereafter, you can sit at a covered table. Ice rink, swimming pool, train to Zugspitze, cinema can be reached in a maximum walk of 10 minutes, you can see in the spa park from your apartment and if you would like, you can enjoy a spa concert

Garmisch 2010 - Our skiing holiday

We stayed at Michaela and Gerry's apartments from 20th - 24th January 2010. Michaela and Gerry were excellent hosts and the apartment was beautiful, it was well stocked having everything we needed including washer / dryer, dish washer, MP3 conection, DVD etc. The apartment is right in the middle of town, walking distance to the ski slopes,shops, bars and restaurants.

I would highly recommend the apartment and Garmisch and will definately be visiting again !!

Perfect Holiday Apartment

The two bedroom apartment was beautifully presented with everything that a traveller could wish for. The apartment was exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location, right in the middle of the pedestrian area of Garmisch. The building has a lift.

Michaela was kind enough to pick us up from the station and take us back at the end of our stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble and it was obvious that she wanted us to enjoy our time in Garmisch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this apartment. We stayed in the 90m2 apartment.

An outstanding holidasy rental in every respect

The owners could not have been more helpful - unless they had stopped the rain. We were immediately impressed by the look & spaciousness of Apt 2; very modern & attractive. There were only 2 of us but we had 2 bedrooms, large bathroom & 2 toilets, plus a very large sitting room & kitchen combined. All of this in the centre of Garmisch but it was surprisingly quiet at night, though we did get vans & a leaf clower in the morning. Wonderful to look out to windows & watch the strollers. Gradually we realised that all the furniture & furnishings were of very high quality. Gerhard & Michaela have really put in a lot of thought & effort to create this standard & deserve the highest praise. |Then there is the town, the surrounding mountains & Bavaria. A memorable holiday place!

Immaculate Property and Super Location

This apartment is perfect for a family of four. We stayed here during our children's school/ski break. It is well appointed for those wishing to eat in, and it is perfectly situated amongst the shops and restaurants along a car-free zone. It is a few minutes away from the Hausberg base gondola. Michaela was very welcoming and provided some fantastic suggestions for dining. I would and I have recommended this property to others.

A Perfect Apartment in the Heart of Garmisch

My wife and I visited Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a week to do some mountain hiking, experience some Bavarian food and culture and generally to kick back and relax, and we couldn't have found a better apartment to stay in. It is located right in the centre of Garmisch, in the pedestrian zone, and as such you have cafes, shops, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Plus within 10 mins walk we were at the trail-heads of a hundred different hikes from leisurely stroll to hard-core vertical.

The apartment itself is on the first floor (with lift!) and is spacious and light, and is furnished in a modern-alpine style. It also has all the amenities that you could require for a short or extended stay - dishwasher, washing machine, large flat-screen TV with satellite, modern kitchen area with full hob and oven, large bathroom with shower cubicle, etc... The beds were comfortable and the bedding cosy and ample towels were provided.

Opposite the apartment there is an ice-cream shop plus arguably the best bakery in Garmisch which made it very difficult to resist going out for something sweet at the end of the day. There is also a decent-sized supermarket 5 mins walk away which was ideal for those days that our aching bodies just wanted to stay in and rest.

Host Michaela went out of her way to help us get the best from our stay, and gave us plenty of advice on finding the things that were off the normal tourist itinerary, from restaurant recommendations serving hearty Bavarian stews to local events that helped us to get a real view on Bavarian culture - the stone-lifting competition was an impressive feat! Thank you sooo much Michaela!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the three apartments, and look forward to staying here again in the future.

An outstanding apartment. Very helpful owner. Perfect location. The place is pristine and has every amenity you could want. You will not find a nicer place in Garmisch. We would go back again in a heartbeat.

The mountain panorama is unique and offers everything that you expect from a holiday in the mountains. Skiing possible on well made slopes from the beginning of December until the middle of April. The fun park on the Zugspitze gives snowboarders a special kick. Clear mountain lakes invite you to swim during the winter and ice skate during the winter, a well marked path network (470 km) is great for bikers and mountain bikers. On the mountain rivers, you can go rafting and kayaking. With a car, you can reach 12 golf courses within 50 minutes. Cultural experiences include the Richards Strauss days, country weeks, spa concerts, farm theater and country weeks. Attractive cities like Munich and Innsbruck can be reached within a 1 hour drive.
