Welcome at our holiday apartment Am Kurpark for 6 people, the apartment with 150sqm, on the second floor. The holiday homes can be comfortably reached by elevator. You will live in the middle of the 'Garmisch' pedestrian area, very close to the spa gardens. The cable car and the ice rink are 5-10 Minutes by foot. The local bus stops only 2 minutes from the apartment building. The new holiday apartments are equipped with a modern ventilation system with filter . Apartment 3***** offers three bedrooms, two doublebed rooms one bedroom with two single beds. All beds have adjustable slatted frames and allergy tested blankets and pillows. The kitchens are fully equipped. You will find own washing machine and dryer. Internet and a telephone are available too. Furthermore, you can use the flat screen TV with satellite and stereo system with DVD player. If wished, parking space can be rent.

How to get to us:: By car: from Munich through the highway A 95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, from Augsburg to Schongau on the B 17 and further in the direction of Oberammergau and Garmisch Partenkirchen on the B 23 or through the highway Ulm Kempten A 7 and further through Reute Lermoos and Ehrwald, Griesen to Garmisch-Partenkichen to Kongresshaus. Since our holiday apartment is in the pedestrian zone, we ask you to call us or get in contract with us shortly before your arrival if you have parked temporarily at Kongresshaus parking lot. We will then come immediately and will give you a written entrance certificate for the region. If you want to come by train:from nearly all German large cities there are excellent connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the train station, it is only about 5-7 minutes on foot to our holiday apartment, or you can take the local bus from the train stsation and ride towards Kongresshaus 1 station. We can pick you up from the train station if arranged.

The special location of the apartment:: Our holiday apartment is unique for Garmisch. There are no other holiday apartments directly in the pedestrian zone with elevator. You look down at the pedestrian zone from the balcony, you do not need a car to get to different locals and restaurants. The spa park Pavillon and Cafe Krönner are directly next to or across from our house so that if you want, you can order breakfast via telephone and shortly thereafter, you can sit at a covered table. Ice rink, swimming pool, train to Zugspitze, cinema can be reached in a maximum walk of 10 minutes, you can see in the spa park from your apartment and if you would like, you can enjoy a spa concert

For 4-6 people, in the Garmish pedestrian zone directly by the spa park, Richard Strauss Platz and Kongresszentrum, new about 150 Sqm top floor apartment on the 2nd floor. DTV ***** 3 bedrooms, two with double beds (2.20 m and 2.20 m) 1with 2 single beds, separate kitchen, bathroom with toilet, extra guest toilet, large hall and large living room with dining corner. Each room with balcony and mountain view. The apartment is ideal for those suffering from allergies. In the completely equipped kitchen (about 9 m2 & 6 m2 food cabinet) you will find a stove with a ceramic range and oven, refrigerator and extra freezer and a fume hood, coffee and espresso machine, toaster, water cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Dishes, glasses, utensils, dishrags are provided. The apartment is supplied with a ventilation system with fresh air that keeps in warmth. You can call free within the Germany main lines and surf the internet. For a fee of € 5 per day, you can use 1 underground garage parking space.

The apartment is in a pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants, also a nice park is behind the apartment. Comfortable place with everything we needed. We loved the amenities and the cleanliness. The Hosts were great and made our stay unforgettable.

Book This Apartment!

We have rented dozens of apartments all over Europe and this is THE BEST ever. I would give it 6 stars if I could. It is centrally located; there are two large grocery stores within 4 blocks, and an organic grocery store about 5 blocks away. The apartment is located on pedestrian only street, so very quiet and peaceful, despite being surrounded by very good restaurants and the the most fantastic and charming dessert bistro across the street (apple strudel with fresh whipped cream......dangerous). The elevator goes to the third floor which you have to yourself. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk

The apartment is immaculate, very nicely furnished and really large. You can see the alps right outside on the balcony...a beautiful view There were only two of us but this penthouse could sleep 5 or 6 comfortably. There is a washer and dryer (dryers are rare in Europe in our experience), dishwasher, and large dining table and everything you need to make meals. In the United States this apartment would easily cost $3000+ a week. A covered parking structure is available a couple of blocks away.

There is so much to do in Garmisch-Partenkirchen; we had a car and visited the Eibsee (a beautiful alpine lake...worth a whole day), took the gondola to the top of the Zugspitze, hiked the gorge at visited Oberammergau, , Ettal, Innsbruck, Mittenwald, Linderhof palace, and Berchtesgaden. We visiting the Olympic Stadium from 1936, went on the summer luge track and spent the afternoon with the locals at the Kainzenbad...a huge outdoor pool at the base of the alps made by a small dam.

I can not say enough about how wonderful our host Michael was. A native of G-P, she is so friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. She answered my texts (immediately!) all week with advice on where to visit and answers to our questions, She gave use rides both to and from the train station....a lovely person.

I can not express how much this wonderful apartment and Michaela helped us enjoy our visit....we hope to return to this wonderful place!!!

Great location - Great amenities

My family couldn't have been happier with our accommodations while in Garmisch! Plenty of room for the five of us including two teenage girls and a four year old boy to relax after a long day of sight seeing. The central location made everything from shopping for groceries, to seeing the sights, and going out to dinner at night simple and convienent. Michaela was incredibly helpful in providing us with information about the area including places to eat which all turned out to be great.

This was our first experience with a HomeAway and I would both recommend this property and try others based upon our experience.

This apartment was everything it was advertised and much more! It was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location is in a beautiful quiet setting. The park right behind the apartment building was an added bonus as we like to go for walks. Michaela was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and sites to visit. She also was very attententive to any needs we had for the apartment. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay again if we get a chance to return to Germany.

Perfect apartment

I've stayed in vacation rentals in several countries, and this wonderful apartment in Garmisch ranks as one of the best. The location is ideal. It's right on a platz, within walking distance to everything, including the train. The view - of the Zugspitze - is amazing. The apartment is spotless, contemporary, roomy and fully supplied. Michaela was extraordinarily helpful, giving specific instructions for all of the appliances and lots of hints for local activities and spot-on restaurant recommendations. If I have a chance to return to this area, there's no question, I'd stay in this rental again if it were available.

The Best Vacation Rental, Ever!!

If you are looking for the perfect Bavarian rental look no farther. The owners, Gerhard, Michaela and their son, Moritz, were the perfect hosts. From our initial contact with them through they were very prompt in their replies and exact in answering our questions. The three bedroom apartment we rented was absolutely gorgeous and included all the amenities, and then some, described in their apartment description. The location of this apartment is perfect; in easy walking distance of everything - parking, grocery stores, shopping, train station, beautiful parks, fine restaurants, etc., etc. The Zugspitz and Bavarian Alps are visible from the front balcony - what a sight!! If you've rented a car you can drop your luggage and heavy grocery bags off at the entrance to the building and park in a secure, indoor garage about 200 yards away. I've briefly covered the hosts, the apartment amenities and immediate area 'things to do' and can not find not one negative thing to report. As a former Army veteran who served in Berlin from 1963 through 1965 and took leave many times in Garmish-Partenkirchen, it was great to return to this area for a 50 year reunion. We can't thank Gerhard, Michaela and Moritz for their wonderful hospitality during our ten day stay in their apartment.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, climatic spa and international winter sport city, host for the Ski-WM 2011, at the bottom of the Zugspitze (2963 m) Germanies highest mountain, with different sport and recreational options during the summer and winter. The mountain panorama is unique and offers everything that you expect from a holiday in the mountains. Skiing possible on well made slopes from the beginning of December until the middle of April. The fun park on the Zugspitze gives snowboarders a special kick. Clear mountain lakes invite you to swim during the winter and ice skate during the winter, a well marked path network (470 km) is great for bikers and mountain bikers. On the mountain rivers, you can go rafting and kayaking. With a car, you can reach 12 golf courses within 50 minutes. Cultural experiences include the Richards Strauss days, country weeks, spa concerts, farm theater and country weeks. Attractive cities like Munich and Innsbruck can be reached within a 1 hour drive.
