On the turn of the century Villa Toi et Moi used to be the home of one of the most renowned poets of France, Paul Géraldy. Some years ago it was transformed into a handful of luxurious apartments. It is probably the most beautiful property in Ste Maxime with a stunning view on the Gulf of St. Tropez .
The house is situated in a small park fenced and securised by a electric gate which opens with a code. There is enough parking space inside the area. In spite of hearing absolutely no noise from the streets you are very close to the heart of Ste Maxime, approximately 900 m.
The spacious apartment mesures some 120 m2. The vast living room (55 m2) has a dining aria which sits 8, a very comfortable sofa (wie heisst sofa auf englisch) and 3 easy chairs, all with duvet upholstery. You will find a Bose Wave Music System in the room which opens to the terrasses which surround the house by large sliding windows. You will also find wireless internet acces and a large tv screen where you can choose between german, french and some english programms.
The kitchen with view on the garden is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, Drying machine (?) and Nespresso machine.
The master bedroom is equipped with a queensize bed (1.60 m) Its en-suite bathroom has bath, shower, washbasin and toilette. The guestbedroom is also equipped with a queensize bed (1.60 m2). En-suite you have shower, washbasin and toilette.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned. It is surrounded by large terrasses, which are equipped with elegant garden furniture and a private garden, fenced in. A big swimmingpool with poolhouse, surrounded by beautiful terrasses is shared with the other owners.
You can reach a small beach by a small footpath in 5 minutes, the next big sandbeaches with beachrestaurants are less than 2 km away.
Britta's apartment was as tastefully decorated as the photos indicated and located on the ground floor of a charming villa within a tranquil area of St. Maxime. Around the corner from the beach road, this spacious apartment was furnished with French provincial furniture and singular art. The main area of the apt. was spacious and comfortable enough for two couples. The utilities in the kitchen were practical and also included a washing machine. Being on the ground floor, we had access to the garden and on quiet evenings we dined al fresco and simply enjoyed our beautiful surroundings and the view of the sea. The facilities at the poolside were comfortable and convenient and we spent every day at the pool after returning from the beach which was less than 5 minutes away. All in all, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely and charming apartment to anyone.
This is our second stay at Britta's wonderful apartment and we hope to be returning next summer.
The apartment is a 20 - 25 walk from the centre of Ste Maxime, is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The shared pool is a good size and an added bonus.
We love Ste Maxime and have visited many times: it is a family friendly town and a good location from which to explore the rest of the Cote D'Azur. But our favourite days are spent just relaxing here in the peace and quiet of this beautiful house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There were two adults and three children in our group and the apartment was big enough for us. On arrival the apartment was spotless. It has two bedrooms and one of them was big enough for the three children. The other bedroom had a very comfortable double bed and a nice en-suite bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garden is lovely with a wonderful sea view. There are two awnings which can cover the seating area if it gets too hot. The pool area is separate from the garden so our younger children could run around the garden freely. We would recommend this apartment to anyone without hesitation.
This apartment is everything you would expect from the pictures and description and did not disappoint. The garden was big enough and safe for our little boy, well manicured. We were able to eat outside on the patio under the hot sun as they have plenty of umbrellas and shade. The sun beds had thick mattresses so were comfortable enough to lie on for long periods. There is ample room indoors and although the living space is open they have used it well with two seating areas (1 with a TV) & the dinning table. The kitchen had every utility and you were never short of anything if you wanted to stay in & cook 1 evening. The swimming pool was always clean & they have a locker room facility with toilets and a sink so you didn't have to walk back to the apartment. The mattress in the master bedroom was some sort of memory foam, which we had never slept in & i have got to say we had some of the best nights sleep. The bath in the ensuite was very big and luxurious with a roll cushion to support your head. There was ample room in the large wardrobes with hangers for our clothes and we were never short of anything to make our stay the most comfortable and convenient. The apartment is about a 25-minute walk from the town centre if you don't mind the exercise but i would defiantly recommend this beautiful retreat and i hope we are lucky enough to stay here again.
Die Ferienwohnung ist in einer schönen alten Villa in sehr ruhiger Lage und mit Parkplatz auf einem Privatweg. Bei Ankunft ist die Schlüsselübergabe perfekt organisiert. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und beantwortet alle Fragen umgehend.
Da die Wohnung im Parterre ist, hat man einen wunderschönen Garten mit Terrasse. Der Blick auf das Meer ist einfach überwältigend! Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet genug Platz für 4 Personen. Auch mit Kindern kann man dort sehr gut Urlaub machen, der Pool ist gross und sehr warm (im Juli / Aug). Zum nächst grösseren Strand (Nartelle) kann man selbst in der Hochsaison in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto fahren und vor 11.00 Uhr noch einen Parkplatz finden.
Nach Sainte-Maxime läuft man ungefähr 20 min, was nach einem guten Essen auch sehr gesund sein kann.
Insgesamt hat es uns, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager, sehr gut gefallen, und wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Es handelt sich um eine in jeder Hinsicht außergewöhnliche Ferienwohnung, die sehr viel Geschmack und große Stilsicherheit erkennen lässt. Auch die Ausstattung mit allem, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Wohnung ist ersichtlich mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet worden und wird auch dementsprechend gepflegt. Beides führt zu einem echten "Wohlfühlambiente". Die zentrumsnahe, dabei aber doch sehr ruhige Lage in parkähnlicher Umgebung mit der wirklich tollen Aussicht und dem schönen Garten lässt alle Möglichkeiten der Urlaubsgestaltung offen. Höchstes Lob auch für die äußerst gute organisatorische Vorbereitung und Abwicklung sowie die prompte und sehr nette Betreuung durch die Vermieterin und ihre vor Ort tätige "Hilfskraft" bei auftretenden Fragen.
St. Maxime is one of the most splendid swimming areas on the French Mediterranean. The villa is about a km from the market place and the Old Town with their pleasant shops and beautiful restaurants. St. Tropez, with its wonderful marina, fantastic Old Town, the most beautiful market place in the south of France and its classy hype, is only a few minutes away by car. During peak season, if the streets are very full, is also fun to catch the regular boat connection between St. Maxime and St. Tropez. The ocean is about 5 min from the villa via a trail, the nearest large sand beaches are about 1.5 km away. The Beauvallon golf course is just a few minutes away. It is one of the most beautiful courses in the south of France. The St. Maxime golf course is also just minutes away.
