'Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw; formed by a contour of mountains into a basin... finely interspersed with islands, its water limpid as crystal, and the mountain sides covered with rich groves... down to the water-edge: here and there precipices of rock to checker the scene and save it from monotony.'

Why Tom chose Lake George Area

Our Family and friends have spent many summers vacationing on Lake George. Over the years we have always dreamed of purchasing a home that would accomodate our group and offer a location that enabled us to boat, fish.swim, hike, water ski, canoe, kayak, ice skate, snow mobile, star gaze, make s'mores or just light a fire and see the breathtaking scenery or view the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that this location offers! Our family purchased this manor to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a vacation home on this incredible lake.

What makes this estate unique

The moment we first saw this home we knew it would standout. It has the appearance of a stately manor on the outside and all the modern comforts of a first class hotel on the inside, the views from the porch and upper decks are outstanding and Lake Georges Northern basin is ideal for all water related activities. The Manor offers great versatility for guests regardless of age. Once you step foot in our home and on our 9 acre property including boat dock I know you will fall in love with it also!

Beautifully appointed property, clearly a labor of love.

We had a wonderful week at LGM with my four siblings and our children. The house has every amenity you could want. Great weather and the views are awesome. We rented a boat at a marina the owners suggested, and it was great-- the "kids" (OK, the youngest is 17) had a terrific time tubing, waterskiing, swimming and fishing all week. Fort Ticonderoga is nearby, and should not be missed. Great hikes. We'd definitely go back.

Large, spacious modernized lakefront home.

  • 5 of 5

LGM is perfect for a relaxing gathering of several families like our group. Days spent splashing in the lake with the little kids, motoring down lake to a cliff jumping spot, climbing Rogers Rock for the breathtaking view, visiting the fort and nearby Vermont, all added a trove of wonderful new memories to the families' lore. So too did the barbecueing every night and the inviting campfire ring. A great stay was built on the joy of simple pleasures.

Great home!! Perfect for our family

  • 5 of 5

Home was exceptional. The location was great. Tom and his partners designed the perfect home for a large family like ours. It gives you room for a group function and also privacy when you want it. The home was very clean and provided everything you would need.

Location and setting was beautiful. Lake George is one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. We took advantage of all of the homes features; the great views,, wonderful yard for whiffle ball and volleyball, the game room, and my favorite the front porch.

We also rented a boat from the nearby marina for skiing and tubing.

Some of the family went to the fort, others to Ausable Chasms, Montreal and Vermont. The town of Ticonderoga had friendly establishments where we did shopping and dining.

The video Tom made was great and beneficial.(We referred to it jokingly if we needed to know something about the house)

After we were home we had a photo slideshow of our week-it was great. And now they all want to go back next year.

Thanks Tom and co. for a great family vacation.

House was beautiful and set up perfectly for large families!

  • 4 of 5

House had everything you would need for a tremendous family vaca! Only downer was the lawn stayed wet all week even though it only rained on our arrival day. Volley ball court was unplayable the first 3-4 days due to the mud, but there was plenty of other activities to keep all of our family's 13 kids busy! It is truly a beatiful home that is meticulously appointed in a great location.

Definitely would recommend it to anyone with a large group!

Lake George manor is absolutely beautiful! Every thing you need is right there!

  • 5 of 5

We had a family vacation at Lake George Manor with 15 family members including children. From the moment we walked into the house we knew this house was perfect! The kids had the most amazing time between the game room and all the outdoor activities and the adults enjoyed it every bit as much! There was something for everyone to do wether you wanted to relax inside or outside to fishing, kayaking, or just hanging out by the fire pit! Lake George manor is perfect for families or any large group of people. There is more than enough room for everyone! We can't wait to come back to Lake George Manor!

Clean, Spacious, Comfortable, Peaceful Lakefront Home

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for a family gathering and loved everything about it! The view from the front porch was beautiful and peaceful! The house was clean and spacious! Plenty of room to move around and gather as a group! The furniture/beds were all very comfortable. I loved how we could gather out back, inside, or out front and always have space to move around. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the bathrooms with plenty of towels, etc. The owner Tom was super helpful and very responsive! My family and I LOVED every minute of our weekend! The house exceeded our expectations! I totally recommend this home for family gatherings!
