Ticonderoga Estate Rental Photos and Description

9 Bedroom, 5 Bathroom, Large Lake Estate, Sleeps 22 Comfortably.

Experience the charm and grandeur of this historic and newly renovated early 1900's estate. This 4,400 square foot manor is located on 9 plus acres with 125 feet of direct lakefront on beautiful Lake George.

The interior of this home boasts hardwood floors throughout and an enormous great room with 10 foot high ceilings, a large stone fireplace and breathtaking lake views. A large dining room with a wood burning stove and banquet table for families and friends to gather. The brand new dock provides docking for up to 3 boats.

The manor sleeps 22 people with all new bedding. There is a large bedroom with a king bed and full bath on the first floor that offers convenience for the elderly and is wheelchair accessible. On the second floor, there are 4 two-bedroom one-bath privacy suites. The manor has just installed new central air conditioning and central heating systems, in addition to all new bathrooms, a new gourmet kitchen and a laundry room all equipped with new appliances and fixtures. The entire interior of this estate has been newly renovated.

Our front porch and expansive lawn provide room to read, relax and play while overlooking the lake. The second floor has two decks each with mountain and lake views. Lake George's northern basin is ideal for boating, swimming, tubing, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The town beach, with white sandy bottom, picnic area, childrens playground, beach volleyball and new bathrooms with changing rooms and showers is less than 1/2 mile away. Free public boat launch and boat rental marina are also less than a mile away. Shopping, restaurants, sports bar, grocery store, museums, skiing and hiking trails are close by.

Come stay at our beautiful manor and enjoy a relaxing, fun filled vacation, making memories that will last a lifetime! This property is perfect for large families, groups of friends, reunions, retreats and holiday gatherings.

'Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw; formed by a contour of mountains into a basin... finely interspersed with islands, its water limpid as crystal, and the mountain sides covered with rich groves... down to the water-edge: here and there precipices of rock to checker the scene and save it from monotony.'

-- Thomas Jefferson, May 31, 1791

Why Tom chose Lake George Area

Our Family and friends have spent many summers vacationing on Lake George. Over the years we have always dreamed of purchasing a home that would accomodate our group and offer a location that enabled us to boat, fish.swim, hike, water ski, canoe, kayak, ice skate, snow mobile, star gaze, make s'mores or just light a fire and see the breathtaking scenery or view the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that this location offers! Our family purchased this manor to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a vacation home on this incredible lake.

What makes this estate unique

The moment we first saw this home we knew it would standout. It has the appearance of a stately manor on the outside and all the modern comforts of a first class hotel on the inside, the views from the porch and upper decks are outstanding and Lake Georges Northern basin is ideal for all water related activities. The Manor offers great versatility for guests regardless of age. Once you step foot in our home and on our 9 acre property including boat dock I know you will fall in love with it also!

AMAZING!

  • 5 of 5

This was the best family vacation my family has ever taken and it's all because of this amazing property! The house is beautiful and very spacious. The bedrooms were absolutely fantastic! The dividers between suits allowed each family to have privacy and kept a crying child from waking the rest of the house! The dining room was perfect for our large family and allowed us to eat and laugh together. We spent our nights watching the Olympics in the living room and outside by the firepower making Smores! We took full advantage of all the kayaks and canoes. The dock down by the lake was fantastic! The little children could play in the lake while the big kids jumped off the dock. We spent many hours fishing and swimming. We had so many laughs playing kickball and volleyball on the huge property. With 22 people, we never once felt overcrowded. The Lake George Manor had everything we needed from a fully stocked kitchen to wiffle ball bats! My family was heartbroken to leave this amazing property. Thank you for allowing us to make so many great memories here!

Property is First Class All the Way!!

  • 5 of 5

I could go on and on about what a wonder time my family had while staying in the Lake George Manor...blah, blah blah,...what you really need to know is how AWESOME this property is!!!!! It truly is first class. The home is spacious, impeccably clean and decorated perfectly. All the work done in this home is of the highest quality...no detail was spared! It's also very comfortable with plush furniture and great bedding and beds. The owners Tom and Scott were wonderful to work with and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend (and already have) LAke George Manor for a great Adirondack experience. And by the way, my family did have a WONDERFUL time!!

We fell in love with both the house and it's location.

LGM was fantastic. The property was beautifully decorated and appointed. Even with a group of 17, all of our wants and needs were met.

Incredible Week at Beautiful Lake George Manor

  • 5 of 5

My family and I spent a fantastic week at Lake George Manor in July 2016, celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary. The house, the property, and its location on the lake are stunning. Even though there were 19 of us, the house never felt crowded and could not have been more perfect for our group. The house is beautifully furnished and well-equipped and allows for plenty of privacy in the four suites upstairs. There’s more than enough dining space for a large group, either on the patio or in the dining room itself. We spent lots of time at the dock swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and just enjoying the view. The nearby public beach is great as well, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The expansive front lawn was used for family games, and the house comes with bocce, kanjam, and a net for volleyball/badminton. The fire pit in the back is great – we were out there almost every night. And the game room is incredible! I would also add that throughout the entire process, the owner Tom could not have been easier to deal with. Overall, I could not recommend this house more highly. We would love to come back!

Wonderful week at LGM

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a week at LGM in comfort, 14 adults and two little ones, immensely enjoying all the amenities of the grand home and varied lake activities. Each day started on the wide veranda with coffee and beautiful vistas. Only felt the need to travel on the one rainy day we had, although there is plenty of interest to see and do within easy driving distance in the nearby area, if so inclined. We were fully content to stay put, enjoy the water and cook out most nights, making ample use of the two grilles and well equipped kitchen. The town has a well maintained sandy bottom beach swim area just a two minute drive from the house for those who prefer. Our choice was to lay on and jump in from the dock in front of the house. We highly recommend this place.

Wonderful family reunion at Lake George

  • 5 of 5

We all had a wonderful family reunion at Lake George Manor. The house was perfect for our family of 17. It felt like we were at home it was very warm and comfortable. It was great to have everyone sitting together at the large dinning room table celebrating my mother-in-laws 90th birthday. We especially liked the view from the front porch. It was amazing looking out onto the lake each day. What a great yard we played lots of games and had a camp fire. At night going down to the dock and seeing all the stars was wonderful. The beach a short distance from the house was lots of fun. We enjoyed kayaking, renting a boat and tubing. Tom, thank you for being so accommodating and making our stay a great memorable reunion. We highly recommend The Lake George Manor!!
