'Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw; formed by a contour of mountains into a basin... finely interspersed with islands, its water limpid as crystal, and the mountain sides covered with rich groves... down to the water-edge: here and there precipices of rock to checker the scene and save it from monotony.'

Why Tom chose Ticonderoga
Our Family and friends have spent many summers vacationing on Lake George. Over the years we have always dreamed of purchasing a home that would accomodate our group and offer a location that enabled us to boat, fish.swim, hike, water ski, canoe, kayak, ice skate, snow mobile, star gaze, make s'mores or just light a fire and see the breathtaking scenery or view the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that this location offers! Our family purchased this manor to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a vacation home on this incredible lake.
What makes this Estate unique
The moment we first saw this home we knew it would standout. It has the appearance of a stately manor on the outside and all the modern comforts of a first class hotel on the inside, the views from the porch and upper decks are outstanding and Lake Georges Northern basin is ideal for all water related activities. The Manor offers great versatility for guests regardless of age. Once you step foot in our home and on our 9 acre property including boat dock I know you will fall in love with it also!

Great MLK Weekend at LGM!
Very clean. First floor was well laid out. Huge dining table sat 16. Second floor family suites was a great idea. Third floor game room was a big hit.
James and Terry,
Thank you for choosing our property and for the review.
Heaven on earth!!
Mother nature tried to scare us away with frigid cold temperatures, but just walking in to the doors of Lake George Manor, we knew we had braved the cold and wintry weather to be surrounded in the warmth and comfort of a home away from home.
It was the perfect HOME for a mini family reunion. The small holiday tree and decorations were just the perfect touches to make it festive. The living room was perfect for all 15 of us to gather comfortably, to tell family stories, play games, and watch babies crawl and play on the floor amongst us. The corner game table was the perfect corner retreat for the jigsaw puzzle fans in our group, and well out of reach of the babies.
Cooking in the gourmet kitchen was a treat for the team of chefs with plenty of room for those that wanted to watch, and nibble while others happily labored. Then what a treat for us ALL to sit in the dining room and share the in the feast together.
Those that braved the cold enjoyed snowshoeing at area recreation spots that were just a short jaunt down the road. Others found it refreshing to just walk along the lakes edge and enjoy the view of pristine snow blanketing the lake, a special view to wake up to if you were lucky enough to get a bedroom with a lakeside view.
At the end of very busy days each family could retreat to their private suite for a comfortable night's rest. Our "hosts" were attentive and responsive to our needs, those that they anticipated with their restoration and design of this home, as well as any emergency that needed attention due to the weather.
At Lake George Manor, we "found comfort and rest, and life at its best"!!! LGM was our haven!!!

Lake George Manor
This property is in a word, AMAZING. The house is very modern with all the amenities you could ask for. The decor is outstanding and in very good taste. My family of 21 was here for Thamksgiving. It will be a vacation we will not soon forget. Having a dining room table to seat us all was the best. The game room kept the kids and the want to be kids agin well entertained. We used the fireplace every night, and the view of the lake from just about every room was breath taking. We will definitely visit again in the summer.
Annual Family Oktoberfest
Our stay was amazing! As always the accommodations were perfect and there were plenty of things to do. My sister came up by train which was very convenient to the house. The kids were able to go out on the lake and toast marshmallows at night. We will definitely be back next fall.
Thank you for choosing our property again for your family and for taking such good care of our home. We look forward to you and your family returning!
Beautiful property!!! Lake view was amazing!!!
We spent a long September weekend at the house. That was not nearly enough time to utilize all of the awesome indoor and outdoor games, water crafts, and common areas the house had to offer. There was so much to do!! It was great!! We enjoyed every minute spent in this beautiful property!! Everything was so perfectly designed (individual suites for each family) and so meticulously kept! We couldn't have asked for more! We hope to return to the property again!! Tom and Scott were so wonderful to deal with. It was truly a pleasure! :)
